I saw Dr. G a few years ago and she was wonderful while going through my history and selling me supplements. She was warm and endearing. We had a pt/doctor relationship for a few years. We decided to do a very expensive chelating test that included collecting urine for 24 hrs. While I was doing the collection I had a question because I didn't have one of the components listed on the directions. I called her office to ask for clarification. I explained the directions called for something I didn't have and without missing a beat, she said, "I don't have time to talk to you." and hung up. She never called back, never followed up, never apologized for her gruffness and I wasted money I didn't have to waste. I'm so happy I found Dr. G and Dr. E! They're an amazing team who really care about their patients and making them well. After each treatment I've had with them I feel much better and have a lot more energy. Ozone has also knocked out every cold I've had in the past -- this stuff works. On a separate occasion I got a bad infection from a splinter in my hand (lots of swelling and intense pain for about a week). The CityMD docs gave me a topical antibiotic and recommended I take an oral one. I know antibiotics are sometimes necessary, but they wreak havoc on your gut (especially mine). The topical antibiotic didn't work so I went to see Dr. G/Dr. E and they did an ozone injection at the site of the infection. It starting clearing up that day and the swelling started to go down by the next day and it completely healed a couple days later -- no antibiotics needed. Not only do Dr. G and Dr. E do the best type of ozone treatment (I've had several different kinds when I lived out of state), they are by far the best value for the money. It's the reason why I drive all the way up from the city to see them. I also love that they are so good about separating patients and taking great care during COVID. I haven't seen any other doctors go to this length to protect their patients (which is why I get ozone exclusively from Dr. G and Dr. E now). Dr. G even has given me fresh veggies from her garden. After reading the previous review, I felt compelled to share my experience with Dr Guggenheim, who, if you read what the deeply wounded individual wrote in the negative review, actually appears to have met her each step of the way regardless of whether or not she is a ghost with no true existence. I had been in my own special version of Hell for about 4 years before I met Dr Guggenheim - who was the most thorough of the dozens of specialists I had seen previously. Keeping it brief, being bed ridden for months off and on for 4 years - unable to work or care for myself - constantly being misdiagnosed or told my physical symptoms were in my head (which I didn't realize is so common - seems to me that everyone's story with Lymes disease or another co-infection comes with its own twisted tale). In short, 12 ozone treatments total, once a week for 12 weeks was what I needed to get back on my feet and working almost full time. I had chronic Lymes disease which had done a lot of damage by the time I found Second Nature Care. I'm glad I took the risk, as it is expensive, but I don't think you will get better care anywhere else. I will always hold Dr Guggenheim and her staff in the highest regard. My story is anything but simple. I had been suffering from Lyme Disease for about 8-9 years, it created a fluke of problems including painful bladder and pelvic pain with sporadic urinary Incontinence for years. After seeing about 5 Urologist, 3 cystoscopies and countless prayers my naturopathic doctor in Los Angeles told me about ozone bladder insufflations. I tried my first one and whoooa nelly! I can tell from the aftermath it was doing some major killing!! My first was uncomfortable and whatever was in there was being targeted and extracted. After a few days I started feeling the change, positive change. For the first time in years my pain was GONE! I left L.A. and went to New York to stay for awhile, while I was out there I started having symptoms, not the same at all (minimal) but still knew I needed to have another ozone insufflation treatment.
