This place is amazing! Great music and vibe. Incredible customer service every time we go there. They are very attentive to keeping your hookah going and replacing the coals constantly. Great selection of drinks and bar food. We recently reserved the back room for a birthday party for my daughter and her friends and they were so accommodating and made it such a fun experience for them. So I'm going to give this a solid 4 stars. So this is definitely a little hole in the wall place, which is usually the best types of hookah bars to go to! And this worth going! They have a smaller menu of hookah flavors but the upside is they do sell food and alcohol. The mixed drinks weren't made super well the first time I came. But I have been here 2 times now and felt like it was an overall good experience. They have the afternoons pretty quiet, so you can use their WiFi and go type up college papers while smoking. I feel like the couches are not comfortable for a long term stay unfortunately. I have back issues, so it would've been nice if the couches were a little more comfy. But that's just me being nit picky. Also I felt like they should have came around and changed coals more often. But overall great experience and would refer friends and come back here again. read more

Been to many hookah joints and have had more bad experiences than good but this is by far the best. Awesome staff that will do anything to impress. Drinks are among the best ever. In fact they are the only that could make a respectable jalepeno margarita. The only one I have had this good was back home in Texas. The hookah is fresh and no stale flavors. They were incredibly expensive then added 20% grat on a group of 6 with 3 separate checks without informing anyone or putting it on the receipt, so we ended up tipping $40 for bad service. Where do I begin?! 10/5 stars. Lava Lounge is my go-to hangout spot. It's by far the coolest place in Wentzville, MO. The lights, music and atmosphere are on point! The food is good, the hookah selection is great, and their dedicated hookah staff are always on top of their game making sure the customer is happy. The bartenders take their jobs seriously and try their hardest to help everyone out, including by making some mean drinks. Jo is THE BEST! She's a manager and a very talented bartender. DJ Epic on the weekends plays all the best songs and makes sure everyone is having a good time (he accepts tips!). Last but not least, the owner, Max, is a phenomenal businessman. He's very down to earth, kind, and a great conversationalist. Max takes the time to talk with his customers, which is hard to come by with business owners.
