This cigar lounge was a bit disappointing. It didn't have the upscale atmosphere I was expecting--there was no background music, just two TVs playing sports. Cleaning supplies were left out in the open, and a mop was leaning against one of the bars, which took away from the ambiance. Red Solo cups on the bar also made the setting feel less refined. The drinks were expensive and not especially impressive. That said, the bartender was helpful and attentive. They do have a bocce ball area, which seemed like a neat feature, though we didn't try it during our visit. I would buy cigars here again, I probably wouldn't come to drink however. read more

This place is a complete joke. Visiting from Miami and just stopped here for a few sticks. Although the selection is small I found a few that I smoke. After paying I pointed out to the young male cashier that he over charged me slightly for a Rocky P. but I continued towards the exit. Upon my exit the male cashier begin to make loud baby crying noises at me. I turned around and questioned him, if he made those noises at me and he admittedly said "yes" and I asked if that was an appropriate way to treat a customer. He finally said "no" then apologized. At no time did he offer an apology for the slight overcharge. Unbelievable how I was treated after giving them money. I'll be following up with my friend, the Sales Director for AJF Cigars in Miami letting him know this is how Aiello's Cigar Bar represents AJF Cigars and the horrible treatment I received. read more

Great place, great people! This is an excellent place for a group get together. Expect a great selection of cigars, sports on TV's in the bar, on the patio and on the Bocce courts. I see a lot of groups hanging on the patio, bringing carry out or calling in pizza, having cocktails, watching the Cards or Blues, maybe a cigar cocktails. Its not noisey. I've been a frequent customer of the Tinder Box at their old location on Mid Rivers Mall Drive and enjoyed their cigar selection, but the store was small. The new location has the same great inventory, adds refreshments and has a GREAT new patio! I'm sure I'll be frequenting often. read more

Went in to buy my Dad a gift for Father's Day. All I knew is that my Dad smoked cigars that smelled like vanilla or cherry. I told the person helping me I had no idea about cigars. He immediately took me to the aroma section and pointed out about 8 different cigars to choose from. Two of which sounded just like my Dad; Burbon Vanilla and regular Vanilla. I picked them out, he put them in a gift box, and I was off. This place really seems to cater to the Cigar Smoker. There is a nice, big patio outside, and bochie ball. Inside comfortable couches and chairs while they sit and smoke. Not to mention a bar. I'm going to take my Dad there, he'll love it. read more

I was looking for somewhere to smoke a cigar an watch the Eagles football game last weekend while visiting relatives in St. Louis. I found this place and it more than met my expectations. Nice selection of cigars, they had the NFL package so was able to watch Eagles, good drinks and the prices for a cigar shop were reasonable. Would definitely visit again. read more

Tinderbox should show up on Yelp as a Cigar Bar. I couldn't figure out how to change it. They have the only Bocce Ball courts in St. Charles county that I am aware of. You don't even have to be Italian to try it. This place has a huge selection of cigars in their large display humidors as well as boxes of cigars in their large walk in humidor. The bar serves top shelf liquors and seems to have a nice selection of Bourbon, and Scotch. They have some really nice wines, and bottled beer. I don't know about a happy hour, but they do have bucket specials. They do not usually serve food (except they have a BBQ grill on the patio, and cook italian sausages and burgers during Bocce League nights sometimes). They do not care if you bring food in or have it delivered (there are a bunch of local places that will deliver). There is a small club lounge area with overstuffed chairs where you can watch the game and enjoy a cigar and some conversation while sipping on a cocktail or glass of wine. The patio is great for relaxing and watching a Bocce Ball game, or catching a Cardinals or Mizzou game on the TV's out there. They have WiFi if you want to check on your fantasy league team or surf the web. Pretty much the ultimate Man-Cave, but it is spouse/GF friendly, as there are plenty of ladies there on bocce league night and other times. read more

Have been to this cigar bar a couple times only came because my friends really enjoy bocce ball. I would say only reason worth coming here is for bocce ball and thats it. The staff here are not very friendly and the cigar selection is quite poor one time i picked up a cigar to look at it and smell it and the cashier began to scream at me DONT OPEN IT!! Across the room and i replied im not opening it im just smelling it and never even tried to open it because you are not suppose to unless you buy it. Then the guy replies smelling it doesn't do anything . They treat me and my friends quite poorly considering both times combined we spent over 200$ on cigars. Generally rude service by who I found out later are the sons of the owner. Gave me trouble for ordering a margarita because they thought it was too much work to salt a rim, add a pre-made store bought margarita mix, and some tequila. Was even enough trouble for them to offer to make me another when I am sitting at the bar in front of them. Also good luck finding parking most of the time during the week, Bocce Ball leagues will up the parking lot and you will end up parking across the street. Definitely not going back again. read more

I finally checked out this place after hearing about it from friends. I definitely enjoy a cigar with a drink every once in awhile, but my "go-to" place is way up north. With this being a little closer to home, I was really excited. The cigar selection was fantastic and I found the prices for both the sticks and the drinks were very reasonable. I sat in the main little bar area, but next time would like to check out the enclosed outside area and bocci courts. My only areas of improvement would be to beef up the liquor selection, particularly with scotch and bourbon, and the cigars were a little on the drier side. I can see with how the cabinets are set up that it probably exposes them more than a walk-in, so I'm not sure what the answer is to that concern - and if it really is the usual. However, this certainly wouldn't keep me from returning. The service was excellent and we had a great time. Looking forward to coming back soon! read more

1st Discovered this hidden gem in St Charles County last Summer! Been coming back several times a week some weeks and have a great experience each and every time! The Aiello's (Joe, Joe Jr & Andy) treat you like Family! Excellent selection of Cigars, Adult Beverages, Comfortable chairs inside and out on the Patio. Owner was a very rude man. Went there looking to have a few cocktails and smoke a cigar. He tries charging 10$ cutting fee if you bring your own cigar. Just an overall rude man. Go 2 blocks down the street to the Rack House. Have a great variety of booze and wine, and their own cigar lounge. They sell cigars as well at good prices and they were very friendly!!! read more
