This one was highly rated and ended up being one of the first and largest in the area, with an indoor event space, outdoor concert stage, and plenty of parking. It's out away from Eugene, but a beautiful drive to get here. We visited shortly after opening on a weekday morning so it was basically all to ourselves. Two of my friends chose tasting flights, the attendant led them through a tasting which included a background about the winery itself. She was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their event was made extra special by the staff, as they were all knowledgeable and well-versed in the food and wine pairings that were offered at this event. I was particularly impressed as to how they were keeping the bottles of white wine cold by using ice that they had frozen flowers in. It was a beautiful presentation. There was a brick oven pizza set up and the pizzas were delicious. I am not sure if they are there all the time or because this was a special event. The wines are on point with each presentation and the outside area is spectacular. The inside area can hold a lot of people, especially on rainy days and very nicely decorated with lots of large windows. I can hardly wait to go back there again when all of the roses around the outside patio area are in Bloom! I will be bringing my small senior dog next time I visit their winery as they are dog friendly.

I went here as part of zonta wine fundraiser event. The organization usually partners up with RainSong for fundraising in order to help positively impact lives of women and girls. I tried their wine sampling and also participated in Barrel bottling event. The wines are just amazing and definitely worth a try. Something new I discovered here were Pinot Menuier wines. I haven't seen this wine in any place I have been so far (maybe I need to expand my wine knowledge more but this was new to me). Ah! It was *AMAZING*. Pinot Menuier is one of the three main ingredients in making Champagne. The other main attraction for me was the Barrel Bottling event. Me along with couple more people volunteered to help package wine in bottles. We used empty new cases of bottle, filled them up with wine and screw the cork using the machinery provided. And then labelled the bottles correctly and safely put them in their cases. This was super fun and the hardest part was screwing the cork (which is an arm workout in itself). Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this winery. There are many varieties of wine available here.. Pinot Gris, Riesling, Dry Rose, Menuier, Noir, and much much more! Staff is super friendly and always ready to answer any questions regarding wine making process or anything you may have in mind. I definitely recommend visiting this winery .. perfect way to enjoy your day! P.S: Side note -- You might not get any cell reception here. I use T-Mobile and received no service, but Verizon and AT&T might get a bar or two of signal. Also, they don't have a wifi.

The sheep, guarded by Akbash Livestock Guardian dogs, are aversion trained not to eat the vines. All of this adds up to delicious Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir wines grown organically. The really special wine is only available to farm family (wine club) members. Today we sampled the 2017 offerings paired with the tastiest morsels prepared in the cottage kitchen. We warmed up in front of the open fireplace and enjoyed the other guests company while Stephen, big beard and all, floated around. Do take a group and visit for the full farm/vineyard experience or make sure to drop in on one of the few days it's open to the general public. It's so worth the trip.

I have visited probably 100 winery tasting rooms over the past 60 years and have about 2000 bottles…read moreof wine in my cellar and have NEVER been refused tasting at a winery until 2022 & 2023 in three visits to Five Fourteen Vineyards. While I didn't have an advance reservation, each time, there were still empty tables, but twice they said they had insufficient staff and the last time, at 4PM, 2 hours before closing, said it was just too hot!!! They seem to run this as a hobby rather than a serious business. Their wine may be good, but I have never been able to taste it, so I can't recommend visiting unless you request a reservation, which is ONLY done via email, at least 24 hours in advance.
