The summer humid weather in North Carolina is not ideal for those of us with curly frizzy hair. I…read morebooked my daughter and I blowouts here to get us thru the heat and humidity. I had grabbed two 3pm appointments, but got a call the day before that one of their hair stylists had called in sick so they'd have to do a 3pm and 3:45pm appt. Not ideal to sit around, but we were tired after a duke tour so fine to just sit around and rest. My daughter also walked around the shopping center for a bit while I got my hair done. Morgyn did a great job, although took a little longer for her to get our unruly locks straight in comparison to our blowout bar at home. I do think back at home they are just used to our hair and we are usually in and out in 25-30 minutes. This took a full 45 minutes. However, the finished product for both of us was great and many days later it still looked great even with all the heat and humidity. We try to rock those blowouts for as long as possible (thank you dry shampoo!) and this held up to the test!

Though she promptly returned my deposit and gave me the names of a few studios that "may have some last-minute availability," she left me in the lurch with only a few weeks to go before my wedding. Knowing I would have to scramble to find a replacement, if I could even find one, during a highly stressful time was devastating. Given it was my first time I felt overwhelmed and didn't say anything and cause a scene. I regret not speaking up in the moment. How do you fix 4 inches of lost hair. My daughter still has not received a response back from the owner nor Jenny who is said to fix this situation. Yes, my daughter's hair will grow back over a long period of time; however, the hairdresser should never have cut her hair without communicating what she was going to do. My daughter requested a trim. This is very disappointing. I will no longer visit this establishment. One bad apple is all it takes. I am not detouring you from visiting this establishment, I am suggesting that you ask questions every step in the process from how much you are actually going to charge me to what do you consider a trim and I want you to show me what you plan to trim.
