I booked a 10am appointment for a Monday and had a great experience. The lady who assisted me was very attentive to the services I was receiving (mani/pedi). The salon chairs for the pedicure were a little run down and my massager squeaked, but other than that, my overall experience was great. I felt that for the price I paid, it was well worth it. I had the deluxe pedicure with a paraffin wax and hot stone massage. I also had the standard manicure (it still came with an arm and hand massage). read more

All the nail salons in my town are closed on Sunday. I found Lavish, called them and was able to make an appointment for the time that I needed. They had everything ready for me when I got in and got me out in an hour for both a deluxe pedicure and gel manicure. Lisa and Lily were both gentle, detailed, and friendly. I will definitely come back for their services. The shop had good music and a tv playing scenic places. Lots of parking in their lot too. read more

Okay so the things that I loved here. The color selection. It was huge but for my personal taste the summer and spring color options are the best I've seen in a while! Also the young lady who did my nails was so sweet. I have a bruise on my thumb and my nail might fall off but she was sure to ask every time she used a tool on it if it hurt and if I was okay. Also how my mani and pedi came out is sooooo nice! They made sure to dry the color before putting on the final top coat for my toes. For reference I got regular polish toe and gel mani. The reason why I'm not giving five star. The front lash was rude. I just moved to the area and I'm trying to find a solid salon. Where I went to in Fairfield I would just say I want a new gel color and the mani is included. I guess that's not the case here. Well long story short, the lady in the front could have easily explained the options I had instead of asking me the same thing four times after I told her I didn't know what she was asking me. Also it's a little small for my liking. I'd prefer a bit more space. But that's personal preference. Also decent prices. Had a classic manicure and a deluxe pedicure done by different people today. I love the pedicure, it was done by a gentleman. However, as you can see in the pictures. The Pedicure was horrible. I feel like it hurts really bad. it wasn't bleeding when I looked at it. So I thought it was ok. Later I saw the blood on the tissue, and the lady didn't even mentioned anything or said sorry but Just pretend nothing happened. I will go back for the pedicure but will not had the same lady do my nails again. read more

Despite the reviews, the service I received was beyond terrible. I even called prior to arrival to ensure they could do the simple design I asked for. Tip, then add flake, then clear acrylic, THATS IT. It started when I arrived, the tech wasn't even there that was supposed to do my nails so I was placed with the tech that sits up front with the shirt haircut. She obviously couldn't do the design and became frustrated when I started telling her how I wanted my nails. Speaking in their language rudely about me to Daisy who finally showed up and was originally supposed to do my nails but didn't because they have bad management skills and left others waiting. Finally my tech gets fed up and daisy does my nails. As daisy is doing them I can tell she is unfamiliared as well because I have to keep asking for them to be fixed. She didn't care, she was definitely not detail focused. She knew she messed up my nails because during my service she says to me verbatim "the next time you come, ask for Simon, he can do your nails how you want them, design and everything" I didn't comment. I go to check out and of course there is a discrepancy in the amount due, it was higher than quoted over the phone. That was extremely frustrating. I went ahead and paid it and STILL left a tip although they didn't deserve one. The right thing to do would have been discount my service if you knew I was unhappy and knew you didn't do a professional service. She did not offer that, I didn't even want them free. Guess what? Now I have to go to another salon just days after this appointment for them to fix my nails. They will probably suggest a whole new set as the ones I have, none are the same length, shape, or even flushed. They are lumpy. I literally have claws on my fingers. I just can't believe "Techs" still treat customers in that manner. They need to realize by now, WE keep them working. Pictures below so you can stay away from this place as well. read more

Found my new regular! I was a walk in and desperately needed my nails done. Everyone was very friendly and happy. They had nice music playing and a big color selection. I saw they did powder dip as well. I did acrylic with a design on 1 nail each hand. They were fast and precise, but I didn't feel rushed like I have in other places. Other places have been rough with my wrists / hands (as I'm assuming they're just trying to be quick as possible) but Simon was awesome! Very gentle and I didn't feel like I was an inconvenience. All staff was very welcoming I will definitely be returning as a repeat customer. Nails held up great, application was smooth and got tons of compliments on my set. read more

It was my first time here at Lavish and Danny was great. I came in at 10am and asked for the Citrix deluxe pedicure ($50) which comes with the scrub, mint mask, callus treatment and hot stone massage. The citrus smell really comes through during the scrub, it smells like a bag of fresh oranges. The entire appointment took about 1 full hour. The interior is clean and well lit. Nice massage chairs and 5 stations for manicures. They only accept cash tip but do accepts credit card for the payment of your service. :Danny was very thorough with cleaning. And the paint job was extremely detailed. He has very close attention to detail and made sure I was satisfied every step of the way. The only thing that was unfortunate was that my nail polish started to chip immediately the next day . Not sure if this my "go-to", but I think it's still worth a shot for everyone else. This had me very conflicted because I really enjoyed this place the first time I came here. Initially when I came, they did my nails perfectly and made great timing. I came back based on my great experience the first time, only to have a worse experience the second time. We made an appointment for 10:30am and got there at 10:30am promptly only to be seated at 10:50am, this initially made me nervous as I had somewhere to be by 1:00pm. I came in for a gel pedicure and a hard gel manicure. While I was seated in the pedicure chair by 10:50am, no one started on me until maybe 11:05/11:10am. In fact, they ran the water and nearly began on someone else (who came in the salon after me) before me which is when I politely alerted the technician next to me and asked when someone would be starting as I had somewhere to be by 1:00pm. The technician said someone would be coming to me soon -- great. Another technician started on my toes and brought me colors, I picked a color and she finished the pedicure. Granted the color that I chose was not reflective of what I picked, but whatever I was in a crunch for time and just needed my nails to be done. After the pedicure, we quickly moved over to do my nails. At this point it was 11:40am. I showed the technician what I wanted -- keep in mind when I booked my appointment, it was mentioned that I wanted a hard gel manicure with a design to give them a heads up. The design requested was simply a bow on the ring finger and the rest were french tip style. I asked the technician if she could do it and for how much, which she responded with that she could and gave me the price. I agreed and she began working on my nails. Initially she asked me how long it had been since my last fill, then asked what length of nail I wanted since mine had grown out pretty long. I told her I wanted them very short because the last place where I got them done, they were too long. The technician kept trying to get me to keep my length although I was deliberate on the fact that I wanted them short. She even told me that they would be "more beautiful" long. I politely declined. After this, I complimented my friend's nail color who just finished getting her nails done, and the technician seriously asked me if I wanted that color as it was completely different from what I asked for. I again politely declined as it was not what I asked for. After that, the technician continuously tried to get me to change my nail shape that I requested and designs. I told her I was fine with what I wanted. She then brought to my attention, after she had already added the gel, that one of my nails were damaged and so she could not do the design I requested. I asked why this was not brought up initially and insisted that we continue with the same design. When she reluctantly agreed, I was discouraged by her lack of confidence in doing the design/shape/color that I wanted, and I said fine let's just do a solid color with chrome on top. Overall the experience was very weird and awkward. The technician continuously tried to get me to change what I wanted on my nails which made me less confident in her ability to do so. It would have been fine if she initially just told me she couldn't do it so I could have reasonably set my own expectations. The technician continuously getting me to try to change what I wanted then taking an hour and a half to complete a simple manicure was disappointing to say the least. I left very dissatisfied as I did not get what I came in for and was late to the next engagement I had as I did not exit the salon until 1:00pm whereas I was hoping to leave by 12pm/12:30pm the latest. Additionally, my nails came out uneven in shape, they are bumpy, have scratches through the chrome, and also are uneven in size. It was very amateur work that I felt I could have done myself. On top of that, I paid $5 less for nails with chrome on top than I would have for the french tip and design that I asked for. This was odd because usually design and french tip costs more. I felt as though I overpaid. This is conflicting because I had a great experience the first time, and not such a great experience the second time. Not sure if I will be returning as I hope this was just a bad day for them and others receive better service. read more
