I walked in after checking Yelp reviews as I just needed one nail's gel (cat-eye) removed for a medical procedure done. The place is huge and neat. A lady came over to help me and refused to charge me! I'm very impressed and grateful. I'll be back to replace the color once I completed my procedure! read more

The customer service has gotten worse every visit. Every time I ask for something simple, the employees start speaking to each other in another language while looking at me and laughing. I obviously can't know what they're saying, but it made me feel singled out and incredibly uncomfortable. No customer should ever be made to feel that way. What upset me the most was the complete lack of respect. I came in asking for a specific nail set, but instead of trying to help or communicate professionally, they kept changing what they were saying and even changed the prices from what I've paid before without giving any clear explanation. It felt like the pricing was being made up as we went. read more

This is a very long overdue review, more specifically for Windy! I have been coming to Beauty Zone now for a few years. I used to be someone who would get my nails done here and there so I wasn't too high maintenance - anytime I needed them done, Beauty Zone has always found the time to fit me in and accommodate to my requested service. I now get my nails done on a more regular basis, and I would highly recommend going to see Windy! She is so incredibly sweet, kind and talented! She always gives me exactly what I want, but better and I love collaborating with her on designs we both think would be nice. I recommend everyone to Beauty Zone, the environment is very calm, clean and spacious, the prices are reasonable and the people are wonderful! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would never recommend this place to anyone. 1. The place is SO dirty. Nothing is sanitized. They use the same tools on everyone without even sanitizing it. I sat down at a dirty station, and she didn't even wipe it down before she started. 2. The lady doing my nails was doing everything. She was answering her phone to take appointments and she was attending to every single person that came in the door WHILE doing my nails. I lost count of how many times she stood up to attend to something other than my nails. What should've been a 45 min dip appointment turned into an hour and a half!! Every time someone walked in, she would look up to ask them what they wanted WHILE doing my nails. Which leads me to.. 3. She cut me twice because she was so f*cking distracted. Didn't give me a discount. 4. All of that and the quality wasn't great. Never coming back. Would never recommend. read more

I came to this place today since it's right down the street from my job. The reviews were pretty good so I decided to check them out. The place is in a good location, across the street from the mall and next to Starbucks, parking is plentiful so you won't have an issue with parking. The place is decently tidy inside and the staff was nice. I was greeted and sat, my nail lady was finishing up a pedicure so i waited a few mins which was nice biggie. I selected my colors (3 ) and she began to work... i was getting a gel mani. I didn't like that she didn't soak off the gel but instead used the machine to sand off the color (horrible for natural nails) she did shape them well, and smoothed them out. It was then time to polish them, i asked for 3 colors, tips only.... Most of the nails had straight lines But some not so much. Unfortunately i was on my lunch break so didn't have time to stay so she could fix the ones that i was unhappy with ugh... It was then time to pay, she changed me $57!!! I was floored! I paid cash, tipped (even though i didn't want to) and left. As i was driving back to work i decided to call the shop and ask why it was so much... apparently they charged me $5 to much and offered to Venmo it back. They did. Overall, I won't be returning. I didn't like the gel removal process, the French style on my nails. Or the fact that they overpriced. Just not for me but maybe others are happy. read more

I graduate on Friday so I wanted to treat myself and get some pretty nails. I went with some French tips to keep it simple, for both my gel manicure and pedicure. I walked in at 11am on a Wedneday and I'm done at 11:45. Moon did my manicure and she did it exactly how I wanted. I didn't get anything extra for this portion, just normal gel nails. Kacey did my pedicure, for this I chose to go a little extra. I got the Rosemary Vanilla treatment and it was awesome. Got paraffin wax, hot stones, and a massage. Moon and Kacey were very nice, will definitely be coming back. I love my nails!! read more

First time and I will be back!! Ask for Michael, he is the best! I got the gel pedicure deluxe (Jasmine) and he was just so detailed in cleaning my feet, between my nails, and the gel polish itself. End result is so clean. The deluxe came with a sea-salt scrub, hot wax, callus treatment, and ended with an amazing hot stone massage. He took his time and was so thorough with his work. I've been coming to Beauty's Zone since 2021, ever since I moved to Concord, and I haven't gone anywhere else since unless I'm out of town or on vacation. This place has truly become my go-to nail spot. I've had my nails done by almost every technician here, and they're all incredibly amazing, kind, and patient. The work is never consistent. Sometimes I love how the gel turns out and other times it's very bumpy and uneven. Most of the time I get a solid color but I, bravely, wanted to try a design. It was horrible and when I went back 2 weeks later to get them off, they destroyed my nails!! When the lady was drilling them down, I literally had to pull my hand back from the pain! Months later I'm still dealing with very sensitive, thin, and brittle nails... Even though I experienced this awhile ago, you can still see the damage. read more

My absolute favorite nail salon in the area Tiffany does my pedicures she is so professional and does an amazing job. She gives you high-quality pedicure for a great price the manager Mia it's very professional and has a very amazing team behind her. Usually Windy does my nails, but if Wendy's not in I go to Mia! She does a amazing job on my nails and Wendy is my go to girl since Mia is usually booked I highly recommended this place this place is clean all there instruments are sterilized and all of the techs are licensed professionals 10/10 ! Go see Tiffany for Pedis Mia and or Windy! And make sure you call for appointment these ladies are booked! 10/10 experience! read more

I went to this salon to get my nails done because Mia had been personally recommended to me. I even arrived a few minutes early to make sure she could be the one to take care of me. Since it was my first time with her, I didn't know what she looked like, so I asked directly if she was Mia. The person who ended up doing my nails told me yes. Later, I confirmed with the person who had recommended Mia to me that the one who did my nails was not Mia, which means I was lied to from the start. The experience was very negative. The person who did my nails was rude, hurt me several times, and did not file my nails properly, one nail was left completely uneven. When painting my toenails, she didn't cover them fully, and I had to tell her how to do it correctly. On top of that, she was watching videos on her phone while doing my nails, which was extremely unprofessional. It got to the point where I asked for the nail file to fix them myself, but she wouldn't give it to me, and instead left them worse and painful. In the past, I've had good service here, but this visit was by far the worst. I left very disappointed because I came specifically looking for Mia's service and never received it. read more

Super disappointed with this place. The staff clearly didn't realize we understood them and were openly talking about us during the service, laughing about how they upsold us and guessing how little we'd tip. Beyond unprofessional. It was rude, uncomfortable, and honestly just mean. We should've spoken up in the moment, but the whole vibe threw us off. I called about coming in for a fill because I had a break in between clients. My car died on the way and they reached out and communicated with me and were still able to accommodate me after my life fail very nice people! And I was put with KEVIN who listened to what I wanted. Kevin took his time to shape my nails nicely and asked multiple times if I was satisfied throughout the process. He gave me a timeline of when to come back and what the next appointment would be based on the nails I came in with and what he was able to do for me today. He checked his work multiple times. Being in the beauty industry myself I really appreciate someone who takes their time to make sure their work looks good. I would love if more nail techs would have a consultation before they start your nails. Tell you what is possible and what will be best for your nails based on the condition they are in at the time of the appointment and when to book your next service and what to expect (fill, or full set) I was satisfied with the reasonable price, the timing of the appointment and the accommodation. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I got my nails done and my pinky kept coming off. it had been one week and it came off twice. the first time they just put on some glue and sent me on my way. the second time the boss said the lady will do a full one time guarantee fill. I drove 30 minutes just for the nail tech to refuse i then called her boss in front of her and she agreed while having a nasty Attitude about it. she proceeded to point fingers at me and talk about me very clearly to her coworker. she was very rough and was yanking on my hands. she was rushing and she left my nails under the UV cookingggg for at least 8-10 minutes and also proceeded to take another client at the same time. nails turned out atrocious. my nails shape is fully messed up they are SOOOO THICK and look horrendous. do not go here even as a last resort. read more

i just moved to the area and don't wanna drive all the way back to the town to get my nails done. i already tried a spot close to todos santos park and it did NOT meet my expectations which was also my fault because i should've investigated more lol. anywho, i saw the pictures and i really liked how the nails were done so i decided to take a risk and called. i came in around 1:10pm and was met with KC and Wendy. the vibe of the place was giving early 2000s but there was also someone who did threading and hair as well. KC did my feet so much justice and Wendy went in! i'm so happy with their work and will definitely be coming back for a fill and as a regular. what normally would've taken me 3 hours at my old shop took an hour and a half, almost 2. and they're so reasonably priced! my new gem foreal. thank you so much ladies for such a great time and PERFECT service! read more

I am so disappointed. My daughter and I made an appointment for two pedicures, at the same time - 5pm. We arrived on time and had to wait 25mins before we even were asked to sit in the chairs. My daughter was started on first. No big deal. While my daughter was in the middle of her treatment another person came in and was immediately helped, by know my daughter is halfway done. Then I had to proceed to wait until the technician was done with her then she started on me. The job was rushed for both of us. Not at all relaxing. We didn't get warm towels or nearly the treatment I usually received. It was a Monday so not at all busy. Also I had to pick three shades of color - the tech either couldn't find it or the product was super thick/old. While I used to like coming here - not sure anymore especially about booking appointments- they just don't care. I was so done sitting in that chair for over 90mins read more

Bless these ladies! Work wasn't terrible but overpriced for what we got with an unattractive environment. Cleanliness: 0 stars. I felt kind of gross Customer service: 2 stars. Super unorganized. I made an appointment and people were being serviced while I was. It was strange. All in all, not a peaceful, pleasant place to be. Kind of sad about that. Don't make an appointment online through google, it doesn't work. Nonetheless, they took me RIGHT away. I showed Mia a reference picture from one of the reviews I saw on here that I loved and she recreated it beautifully and quite fast! She asked me multiple times if I was liking how everything was looking and was very nice. I've never had nails this pretty before! Thank you Mia! Usually nail places I've been to aren't able to do intricate designs like they are so that's a big plus. read more

I have been going here on an off for quite some time. My regular place is really in moraga been going there for 15 years but when I don't wanna drive far this is the go to. They do fantastic nails! Beautiful work but it's super expensive that is literally the OnLY down side. They are always sweet and accommodating, a large location and have a lot of employees. They got me in today right away and I didn't have an appointment so that was nice and the lady I think her name was angel did an amazing job. I usually see Mia and I've been to one of the guys can't remember who but they are all good :) Their pedicures are great too. I do like this place ALOt and I'll keep coming back for sure. read more

The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. Unless you want to wait 1-2hrs to get your prescriptions and 30min to check out in the front. The drive thru is not not open which makes it more difficult to get your meds. The staff did not say anything to the customer standing very close to me. There I was disclosing personal medical information not realizing that the customer was near me the whole time. (They should check the cameras; I can't make this up!) I only became aware that the man was standing extremely close to me because another customer in line pointed it out and told him to step back. I took my girlfriend to The Beauty Zone yesterday. She got a manicure while I got a pedicure. The atmosphere and the set up of the store really impressed us as the store is very spacious, clean, and has great lighting. Usually when I go into a nail salon, I've always hated the chemical smell, but this shop was very well ventilated. We were greeted by Mia (the new owner who took over the previous business) greeted us very nicely and offered us complimentary champagne on the house. Mia worked on my girlfriend's manicure while Daisy worked on my pedi. Even though we were late walk-ins 40 minutes before the shop closes, they took care of us and made us both very comfortable. Today I got a gel pedicure simple French and the lady was digging the cutical clippers into my skin I was in pain the whole time. Y the end she didn't even put lotion on my legs like they normally do. She slapped oil on ran a hand down my calf ONCE and called it a day. $65 later this is not worth it and I won't be back. This time I came a little after 10am when they opened and Cindy was able to do my Mani pedi right away. It was a lot different than when I've been later in the day when they get busy. Cindy was very friendly and made sure I was comfy and checked to make sure I was happy with my nails. I always feel so relaxed afterward and my nails look great. There are lots of friendly manicurists but I usually make an appointment. Tiffany even reaches out when it's time for my next appointment. She literally drilled out my cuticles and now I have deep, deep red trenches in my nails. Its horrible. I dont know if it can be fixed? Also, even after all that the nails still chipped too. Id give 0 stars if I could. I do not reccomend.

update: the salon has a new owner but most girls are still working here…read more I had my nails done by nina and all i can say is wow. she took her time with my nails and made it looked exactly like the photo i showed her. if you want summer nails, she's the person to go to. The salon is nicely decorated and feels nice and comfortable. The salon is also offering Gel X and Builder Gel as well which I cannot wait to try next time. Overall amazing experience once again from this salon.

I repeated myself so many times for them not to use certain color on my nails but they still did whatever they wanted. I kept being polite and kind to ask them please use this color. The lady who seems to be the owner just said no that not good color... anyway even tho I didn't got what I wanted she ask me for a tip on cash which I said I ca do card SHE SAID NO I WANT CASH TIP I SAID SORRY I SONT HAVE ANY MORE THAN MY CARD. They didn't wanted to accept it so I left but I pay for my bad service. She harassed me to leave a cash tip. Today I went in to of course not do nail service but to do waxing service and before she wax my face I said SO NOT CUT MY EYEBROWS just clean them around. I've been coming to Gaia for years. They do a wonderful job and have always been flexible to any…read morerequests I've had. Plenty of color selections and always able to achieve any design I want. I've brought my young daughters in for mani pedis and the staff has been so kind and warm with them. If I've ever had an issue, they've been quick to fix it. A few visits ago I switched from dip to gel builder and I have loved it. Abby has done my nails the last two times and she's done a wonderful job. Very attentive to detail and fun to chat with.
