I went yesterday to get my nails done and I am completely Disappointed. I expected just to go in and come out happy with my nails but after getting them done, I know I will never come back again! The lady was extremely nice but her work was terrible! It seems like she never even took a class on nail art. I wanted some Black gel nails with a silver star on the Index finger. What I got is so ugly and I am so embarrassed to have them. First of all, my thumb isn't fully cured, the polish is all soft and I can easily move it around, what is supposed to be a plain black nail has some sparkles in it because it never fully cured. The second thing, when she pulled out the nail polish, It was sparkly silver polish, I told her "No sparkles please" Two times. Yet she continued to use the sparkle polish, I understand there's a language barrier but she should've checked in with me to make sure that's the color I wanted. Third of all, if you can't do nail art simply just decline. I would be completely fine with just plain black nails if she wasn't able to do the star but she proceeded to draw on an extremely ugly, wonky, and uneven star! And the last thing, she cut one of my nails super short! They look like a child made them. And for 40 is such a rip off! I highly recommend not coming here if you want to get your nails done. I'm hoping I'll be able to get a refund for these nails. They wasted my time, money, and gas! Update : Me and my sister went to the nail salon to ask for a refund. The nail artist insisted we sit down and get my nails redone. I told her I did not feel comfortable with her working on my nails again and that I wanted a refund so i could get them redone at a different salon. She spoke to someone else and the came over to us to explain that the nail artist didn't want to give us a refund and that we would have to speak to the owner of the salon, we asked when the owner would be available and the said the did not know because the owner would only stop by randomly unexpectedly and they did not have their number. I asked them to take my number down and call me when the owner came in and they finally agreed after making us wait around aimlessly. Then after two or three days without hearing from them I called them to ask if the manager was in and the said yes. The manager asked me to come to the salon once again, when I arrived at the salon the owner took pictures of my nails. The owner was talking to the nail artist in their own language and then she came towards me and told me that the artist didn't want to give me my refund. I demanded my refund and that's when the artist went into her purse to grab the 40$. She shoved them into my hand mumbled words under her breath. I've come here about half a dozen times and have generally had a wonderful experience. I've always found the manicurists very friendly, and my daughter and I have been very pleased with the quality of our pedicures and manicures. Unfortunately, after all the times I've patronized this establishment, I was unknowingly charged a 3% fee for using my credit card. There was no signage or language posted to indicate this before using my credit card, and I simply felt deceived as a customer and someone who has generally liked this place. When they ran my card and gave me the receipt to sign, I finally saw language that said that I'd save $2.72, if I paid cash. I wish I would've known this up front. My trust in this place wouldn't have been impacted otherwise. read more

I desperately needed a pedi & was turned away from a place I had been going to so I jumped on Yelp as soon as I got back to my car and found this place! I called and was told to come right away. I was warmly greeted when I arrived & Katie got the water ready. I've had a lot of pedicures but this by far was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! Katie used a leg mask, paraffin wax & hot stones and gave the best, most thorough massage! She also put a warm neck wrap on me & offered a glass of champagne! I'm going to start by saying I'll never cheat on my regular nail tech again. I debated between 3/4 stars cuz they aren't terrible but i like my nails a specific way. I'm super picky. Try them out and form your own opinion. But I hate having to tell people what I like and don't like, it makes me feel like a naggy, b____ customer. This place has potential. They opened only 3 months ago but I think they need a bit more clientele that's more hardcore and precise to get them going more in the right direction. They're nice people and have good customer service, they serve you champagne as you relax. But I'm paying for my nails to look precise and perfect. My French tip shape is good but the lady put the clear pink onto the white paint as well which for me ruins the whole purpose of my French tip. I get it for the clean and classy look. Got a fill, they charge an extra $5 just for having long nails. Whatevs. What low key bothers me is having a thick ass coat of acrylic. I like my nails to look very natural and I told the gentleman to make them thin in the beginning. I feel like I'm hella nagging but I'm just sooo particular especially when you're paying good money for a specific service. 10 STARS Went here with the hubby to get mani-pedis, after the old salon we went to didn't do a good job. Staff is amazing and friendly. Salon is clean and inviting. Bee and Lyna were our nail techs and they did an outstanding job. We got the $65 package, which includes pedicure, warm neck wrap, foot and leg massage with hot stones, paraffin wax, and even champagne! One of my nail broke and I needed an urgent fix... I came here because it was the closest to where I was eating for lunch (Brasas do Brazilian Steakhouse) I called and got an appointment right away which was nice.. arriving here to park was pretty easy since they are in the plaza with Ranch 99 Supermarket too. They are located right next to Cricket Wireless and Subway. The nail salon was very clean and tidy. The lady who did my nails was nice but it seemed that they were rushing the job because I was the only there at 4:30 PM to do my nails and they close at 6 PM. Usually every nail place I have been to so far, the nail tech will clean your precious fill first then do the acrylic fill with powder. I did have a glitter gel color previously but I guess the nail tech didn't want to clean them all out and just apply the fill on top... it was not what I wanted and I tried to tell her but I guess she didn't understand. After everything was done, my nails were uneven and the gel color wasn't even covering my whole nail..lol read more

My mom and I had a nice morning being pampered. I made an appointment for 3 early this week. Unfortunately, the third person was feeling ill and responsibly decided that they'd hold off going today. My mom had some wine and I had some water. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. My mom got a glittery polish on her toenails today and told me that it was the first time she got something sparkly on her nails. She asked for a more plain, muted color for her finger nails though. She was so happy and relaxed and told me that she really needed this self care time. I had a difficult time deciding on my colors but got glittery sparkly colors for both my feet and hands. The woman who worked on my toes was Jenny and the woman who did my fingernails was Kim. Jenny was gentle and definitely had the stamina to do her job well. Kim was also gentle and fixed my thumb after I had accidentally hit it. Kim also called me and left me a message to ensuvre that my mom's ring got returned to her as we had forgotten it when we initially left. After a few long weeks, I knew I was in need of some self-care. I was driving by California Nails and saw their Grand Opening sign. I decided to stop in for two reasons- 1) wanted to support a new salon, & 2) I took it as a sign to take care of myself. The last time I had a mani/pedi was about 3 years ago. Back in my 20s, I'd get my nails done all the time. Once I hit my 30's- I'd do it myself. I chose the basic mani and Tropical pedi. Let me tell you one thing- this basic mani was not basic at all...it was probably the best manicure I've had. Tao took great care of my hands and nails and did an immaculate job with the simplest manicure she probably had all day. Linna did a wonderful job with my feet and toes and took her time with the whole process. The stressors of full time work and full time school melted away in their massage chair as I enjoyed sipping on champagne and getting pampered. The salon was squeaky clean. The staff was kind and courteous. Prices were standard for the business. I will definitely be back for those much needed self care moments. read more

The owners themselves Kim and her husband were so accommodating, friendly, and warm. The Spa is so clean and relaxing to the eyes. The nail service and spa treatments are very meticulously done. The staff pay attention to the request and detail. Though there are some language barrier, the owner themselves will entertain the concern and give instructions to the staff. A spa is not a spa without the feel of relaxation... they have a massage chair and a glass of wine to your likings. Pricing is reasonable. Overall, recommendable and worth coming back. read more

Update: went back for a full on my new set you saw. It started lift within 1 week, went back to get two nails fixed. bumblebee fixed it, literally when I left, my thumb nail started to lift. Of course didn't have time to go back and get it fixed. I just dealt with it. I promise, each of my nails lifted except the two he fixed. I realized that's when he fixed the two, that he wasn't removing the lifted acrylic and just covering the whole thing with more gel acrylic. I had to literally explain to him how and why he needed to remove the lifted part of the nail. I believe that's why they all lifted and is what was done during my original refill, but I didn't catch it. I kept trying to make any appointment but he only has certain availability that conflicted with my schedule, and is the only one that can do it. I explained to them that I am in so much pain and that I think my nail was busted. They ignored the first request (sent in messenger) so I saw that they checked it and never responded, which they never did before. I then went back and ask about my appointment and they finally set it up. They messaged me the day of, 2 hrs before my appointment to notify me that he once again wasn't coming in and asked if I can reschedule 2 days later... here's a pic of my nails that they wanted me to wait 2 more days to get fixed. Really sucks bc I thought I finally found a top notch nail salon and really loved how he's shaped my nails. Very good with new sets, but be careful with fills. read more

I had a gel mani pedicure it lasted all of a week and 1/2 on my toes. Decided to try again told them about pedicure not lasting thought they would do something like discount off but no they refused. I walked out. Gel pedicure lasts a month on my toes. Was expensive. Won't be back. read more

Bad bad experience. My gel manicure was coming off three days after getting it done here..Previous to my visit my mom had her nails done here and she was happy. When I returned with her the second time I asked for a pedicure and another appointment for the next day for a gel manicure. It was kind of a ackward because my mom made an appointment and had to wait for the people to arrived while I was getting my pedicure done. The place was empty by the way. When the two people arrived they were in a hurry and my mom nails were not even clean by the man"bee" he was very rude and acting like if he was paying my mom to get her nails done there she was unhappy. The guy was rude and she just wanted to leave in the middle of the service. While I was getting my pedicure which it was an amazing experience btw. Another women "bee's wife" asked me if I wanted to get my manicure done and I was hesitant but I was like you know what they don't ohave other clients so let's do it. She hurt me by doing the nails filing, didn't clean my nails at all, and did everything in the air I had like hold my hand for her super uncomfortable she was rude and quick. She put lotion in one hand and forgot about the other one, it was a mess. I didn't leave because the lady doing my pedicure was amazing. We later find out that the person who did my mom's nails the first time was not working there anymore "wonder why" not going back there anymore good luck with your grand opening. read more
