Best massage in Rolla! Best pedicure in Rolla! I've had several massages with Genny who gives such a relaxing firm mindful massage. My body is super relaxed every time! Tracy is also gives an amazing massage and pedicure! Lauras blowout is awesome. The spa is clean, inviting and very casual. All of the staff are down to earth and even allow pups to attend service with their owners. There's an occasional meditation session in the evening. It's my go to place for pampering and relaxation! In the area and had a few services done. The place is clean and comfortable. And easy to make appointments. Massage: I had an hour massage by Laura. I filled out a form to explain what was hurting/tight. She explained what she would do. She started a little light but then did firm massage like I like. I wish she worked on my shoulders more as that was where i had my most tension. My mom had a half hour massage by Laura. She really helped her release her frozen shoulder. She said she really liked it and will go back when she needs it. Waxing: I had a wax "done there" by Elizabeth. The room is clean and Elizabeth is very professional. She used strip wax and was quick and came out very clean. I would for sure come back to her again. Mani and pedi: Both my Mom and I had a manicure and pedicure. It was very nice and relaxing. We started with the mani. After cleaning up the nails they do a nice scrub and hot towel wrap. Then they massage the forearm while the towel is still on. After that they do lotion and massage your hand. Thankfully Elizabeth had me use the hand dryer before doing the pedicure. Laura didn't have my Mom use the dryer and hers ended up "wrinkling" alittle after getting in the car. The pedicure was nice. They clean your nails. Then they clean up the bottom of your feet. You also get to enjoy a scrub rub and hot towel treatment very nice. Overall will go back to this place again when some pampering is needed. read more

The best spa in Rolla and for miles. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, very friendly and the spa itself is beautiful. I've had a massage by every single therapist there and they all were amazing. I love that I can get massages, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures all in the same place. They also have a dry, far infrared sauna and aromatherapy tubs. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone and they are great with gift cards and offer a variety of spa packages. read more

About 4 years ago I moved to Missouri from San Diego. After inquiring at a few local spots, as well as trying some of them, I have found Lavish to be the spa for me. They are full service (minus acrylic nails) so that on my spa day I can do hands, feet, body, and hair if I wish. Every 2 weeks I get a massage, a manicure, and a pedicure. I've had 3 different people service me and they are all great. I'm seen at the time of my appointment and receive professional care and actual customer service. I see other clients getting nail and hair care, too, and I've observed only high-quality work performed by every employee in the building. It's a comfortabIe and relaxing environment. I went here for my first professional massage and let me just say, it was amazing. Amanda knew what she was doing and took all my health concerns into consideration. Granted, she did talk a lot but in a sense, it helped with my anxiety. I live with degenerate disk disease and when everything was over, I could barely stand because I felt so loose haha. We decided to drive here, because the spa near our house was booked for the day. We drove the 30 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood and I'm so glad we did! This place already had some stars just by the inside decor compared to the place we were going to go. I got a Sweish massage for 30 mintues which was $35. The price was really good. The inside decor is very cute. They sell the massage oils, candles, burt bees products, and bare minerals makeup. We all enjoyed our massage. I wish we found this place sooner. I love Tara day spa. I've been here twice, once for a massage, once for a mani-pedi. I wanted to treat myself towards the end of my pregnancy. I really like the atmosphere, everyone is very friendly, if I had time, a haircut would be next on the list. Sadly we will probably be moving before I get a chance to return. ETA, I did get a chance to return, for a haircut and brow wax, and another massage. Still a fan! We have since moved, but we ever end up living in the area again, I will definitely return. read more

By far the worst experience I've had at a salon. I made a wax appointment in advance and went in with high hopes. I left still hairy. I called the next day to try and get them to make things right and the specialist, Elizabeth sat with me and argued. I researched what happened and talked with various spas and all agreed that the hair should not still be on my legs. Through the whole treatment she kept pulling at the same spots several times. Then decided to tell me that it was normal that there was hair, that it wasn't long enough. Instead of admitting that she made a mistake and broke the hair. When I met with her to talk about the issues she argued telling me that it wasn't broken. She then walked away mid conversation to take a phone call. It was very frustrating and the spa did nothing to make it right despite my attempts. The procedure did not go well and I have a severe rash now because of it. Nothing about the experience was pleasant and I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I waited 15 minutes past my appt time, they never came in and told me the person was running behind, they were too busy watching TV. They were not professional at all, one of the workers dressed like a hooker. Rolla's finest, don't go there. You can cut your own hair and have a better experience. This is my second attempt at finding a hairdresser here. The first one I tried has canceled on me, via text message, on the day of the appointment - no less than 4 times!!! I finally tried someone else. I was in time for my 10:30 appt. It is now nearly 30 minutes later - and I am still waiting in the lobby. 5 more minutes and I'm walking out. Have not even been greeted by the stylist, or given any explanation for the wait, nor told how much longer it may be. read more

Strange place...we walked in and no one was there to great us...finally someone said hi from the waiting area. We each had a mini facial by a massage therapist and pedicures and an eyebrow wax. The sink area where the eyebrow wax took place was very dirty. The facials were not true facials or massage. Very rough. No headband to protect your hair...poor facial massage. Not at all worth the $49 price of a facial. The overhead light was on the entire time, while the massage therapist was fanning my face to dry she hit me in the chin with her hand. Only one pedicure chair actually worked, one of us had no leg/foot massage and the other had to ask for callous exfoliate. It is really not a pedicure just a color change. The oddest part of a spa day is that each service required a separate transaction and tip. Very odd that 5 services require 5 transactions. The building has a lot of potential but the service falls very short of a relaxing professional day spa. read more

Don't waste your time going there! The owner who works the front desk is rude towards the customers, the woman giving me my massage was 10 minutes late taking me back to the room so I got ripped off of time and she was not good at it. Totally missed my trouble spots that was asked attention to be paid and when asked for more pressure she failed to do so. I will not be returning there unless someone else takes over and the staff is fired! read more
