Pics of my tattoos by Shelby @ Blood Brothers Ink

Shelby was just awesome. After 6 months of army training ending on Fort Leonard Wood I was anxious to reward myself for such an accomplishment and what better way than to get tatted?! I scheduled with Shelby the afternoon right after my AIT (Advanced Individualized Training) graduation. She was flexible knowing that I didn't know the exact time the army would release me - soo appreciated. She took her time and did really clean lines. I wanted to wait until the healing process was complete before writing a review since I've had other tattoos look great initially but heal rough and not be as crisp later. THIS WAS THE BEST HEAL EVER. She did 2 tattoos on me, one to mark my army affiliation and one to mark my MOS (military occupational specialty), shown. Both were healed extremely fast and remain as crisp as the day I got them. I believe her not rushing me through and staying focused made for such perfect tattoos. For perspective these are my 7th & 8th tattoos. I highly recommend.

Danny did a quick simple tattoo in my grandmothers handwriting. I asked to move it around 2 or 3 times but he was willing to put it anywhere I wanted it, since in the end it'll be on my body for a lifetime not his. Third time was the charm. I love it and he was super fun to work with. Shop is super clean and all the employees were professional. Also, VERY reasonably priced! This place gets my recommendation!

I got my very first tattoo here, Cat is awesome. There was never any pressure to do anything I didn't want or rush me into getting my work done. I told him what I wanted and the day of my appointment he had 3 different choices for me to choose from. It was really cool for him to do that because I told him what I wanted, but it was plain and I wasn't sure what else to add. So he took it upon himself to make sure I had things to choose from and if I didn't like it, he was willing to draw up something else. He made my first tattoo experience a good one. Quick and easy, for sure. A year later, I went back and added a little more to it. My husband has some work from cat now, too. I will definitely be going back to get the rest of my arm done! The second picture is the first time I went in, it was fresh. Just finished up. First picture is with what was added on, completely healed. The lines on my arm are from my shirt!

Best shop in St. Roberts - hands down. This is one of the most talented and down to earth tattoo shops I have ever been to. Cat Spencer just put an amazing piece on my left ARM today. A week ago, he did touch ups on 5 other pieces of mine, including sleeve fill.. which he free handed. It all came out amazing. You won't catch me at any other shop in the area. In fact, this is probably the only shop I will go to period. I'd definitely travel for a weekend sesh to get blasted. Only place I would recommend to anyone.

Will went out of his way to get this done! I just love it!

Visiting from Atl., my son needed a tattoo covered. I am assuming the owner, white red-neck, with…read morerotten and missing teeth, didn't know what he was doing from what was coming out of his mouth. He told my son that some of the old tattoo will still show through the new tatt. RED FLAG! He then said HE needs an idea of what he wanted. No problem...we found several tatts and each one he shot it down. So i interrupted and asked, well can you just freestyle what you think will cover it? He said he doesn't do freestyle. ANOTHER RED FLAG! So now im questioning your work...if you are an artist what do you mean? He got mad and started cussing. I asked him to show respect and dont cuss me...after i cussed his bitch ass out, which is what i called him...i noticed he was missing teeth and his top front teeth are rotten. How you go have a tattoo shop and dont know what to do and get mad about it AND have missing rotten teeth. Im so glad i didnt let my son fuck up a tatt he already screwed up.

Wish I could give them zero stars. Now I know why military bases STRONGLY urge soldiers NOT to get…read moretattoos right outside of post. I wanted a word written in white ink on my wrist (I know... So original.) so I called and asked if they'd do it and they agreed. When I handed the "artist" what I wanted, he jumped on the computer to print out the word in some generic Word font. Not cool. Clarified that I wanted it in *my* handwriting and he grudgingly complied. I am half mexican so I was worried that the white might not show up since I generally always have a bit of a tan. He said not to worry, if it faded too much he would redo it for free. Score! Or so I thought. Well, months went by and it not only faded but the ink bled together so badly that it was impossible to read! Went back and I was super nice about it but asked for the re-do. Well, I must have pissed him off because he dug the needle so far into my wrist that he SCARRED me. Asshole. Long story short: I had the tat redone in black by a different shop and I'm happy with the new one but you can still see and feel bits of the old crappy tattoo. :(
