Yet if you arrive late to an appointment you may not be seen. I gave him 2 stars my reasons are his office is modern clean and his staff is great. Even though I routinely have issues at the pharmacy as a result of the medications I am on, anytime I run into them 99% of the time either Dr. B or the office staff call back or send in whatever paperwork is required in a prompt manner and it is typically the pharmacy that holds everything up. I have referred many patients to Dr. B's office and all have made him their Primary Care dr. It is a private practice with 3 exam rooms and just like anything else, depending on how busy or booked they are determined how long you have to wait in the waiting room. In 10 years I have never waited more than 30-40 min to be brought back and most of the time I can count on being out of there anywhere between 1-1.5 hrs after my appt time. (there have also been occasions where I was in and out in 30 min). The only thing I would prefer as a patient is for them to bring back the answering service, that way if you're running into issues at the pharmacy on the weekend there is a way to resolve it without having to wait until the office is open on a Monday - but that is a minor issue, really.

I came in as a healthy, young male for a pre-employment physical. Working in healthcare, I get physicals at least annually, among other tests and screens. She could have easily performed a cursory physical exam, asked me whether I could physically work, and signed my form. Instead, Dr. Velez provided a complete physical exam, obtained a full medical and surgical history, and screened me for a few health conditions based on my intake forms and family history. Needless to say, I was impressed with her approach this visit. Not only does she provide comprehensive care, she also knows how to build rapport. She entered the room with a friendly smile, used little medical jargon, which improves communication for many, and was very approachable. If I were to stay in Orlando, she would be my primary care physician! Velez Family Health is located in Dr. Phillips in an office building. It's not visible from the parking lot, but if you walk down the hall of the north building, you'll find this clinic on the first floor past the restrooms. He said he was going to order a CT scan of his sinuses and also allergy tests but to wait to schedule the allergy tests until after the CT results. We have been waiting for someone to call to schedule the CT and have not been contacted. I have contacted the office FIVE times for assistance and have still not been helped with this. The first time he called, the week after his appointment, he was told to wait for the imaging office to call him. He called to follow up a couple days later and left a message for the office but his call was not returned. The following week I tried to call, actually managed to speak to someone who informed me that a CT was never ordered and left a message for a nurse to call me but my call was not returned. I called again today, left a message for the nurse line ad my call has not been returned. I tried again this time pressing "2" for a call back and am still waiting. This is too bad because we both really did like Dr. Debnath and he very much seem like he was going to be able to help my son solve his issues but so far the experience with the office has been horrendous!

I am a 26 year old female and have been suffering from Fibromyalgia and other viral/autoimmune deficient related conditions for nearly 7 years. I was a full-time college student, marathon runner, tennis player and kick-boxer who suffered a tough bought of pneumonia and strep throat at the same time. That's what the myriad of doctors I've seen say caused my fibromyalgia, especially after repeated lab results and office visits showed me to be an otherwise "robustly healthy" individual. I felt like a big dollar sign to them as they handed me medicine and told me they couldn't do much to help. I remember one doctor saying "I can't be there to take your hand and get you out of bed everyday. You need to just deal with it." I have had multiple surgeries that do not heal or heal very slowly. Personal friend suggested to try hyperbaric treatment. I called and spoke with a knowledgeable man in Orlando, not knowing I was talking to Alan the owner of the center. He scheduled an appointment with the medical doctor. I had an evaluation by their doctor & started treatment that day. I was pleasantly surprisedly the treatment. I did a 90 minute treatment; the only thing I felt was my ears popping which I was told about before I went into the machine . The 90 minutes of lying down watching TV went by so fast. It was recommended that I do treatments every day. So every day from the Villages my husband drove me to Orlando to the treatment center. I was greeted by the owner, Alan who answered any question that I had. Somedays a staff member would greet me. Both her and Alan were helpful, both took my vital signs before every treatment. They were courteous ,knowledgable and always pleasant . The attendant who puts you in chamber is awesome very explanatory and gives you anything you want as far as blankets, pillows or fixing the tv to what ever you want and he is right in room during treatment so you can see him at all times. I had 10 treatments and I can honestly say with having many issues; one being fibromyalgia I feel I notice achy feeling is not as strong and my intake of Tylenol is much lower. One last comment, this is a treatment that has been around for ages and research says it puts 100% oxygen in your blood which helps many medical problems . I was very comfortable and happy with the care that I received and on this occasion I went through an extensive if quick process of understanding how to use the new devices.
