This was one of the best perks of being a student. They gave basic clinic help and services to the students. I came here once as a student for a cough and ear ache. They checked me out and gave me a script for antibiotics. It's a nice perk to being a student. The doctor was very helpful and made sure I was well taken care of. The wait wasn't long either the day I went. There was only one other student ahead of me. I highly recommend using this perk as a student. read more

My father was a patient of Dr. Gavin Van Staden. We arrived at his office on Wednesday, July 2nd, expecting to check in for an 11:00 AM appointment. Instead, we were informed by the office manager that the appointment had never been confirmed on their end and that my father was being discharged from the practice due to an alleged no-show on 6/9 and rescheduled appointments on 6/26 and 6/30. To clarify: - My father never had an appointment on 6/9. Neither he nor I scheduled one, nor were we ever informed of one. - On 5/30, he was hospitalized at AdventHealth East Orlando and was later transferred to PAM Rehab Hospital in Winter Garden, where he remained through 6/13. He was physically unable to attend, or even be aware of any appointment during that time. - It turns out the 6/9 appointment was made by AdventHealth during his hospital stay without our knowledge or consent. - I called the office on 6/26 and 6/30 to reschedule due to my father's recent hemorrhagic stroke, which has left him with significant daily challenges. At no point was I told of a rescheduling or cancellation policy, nor was I warned that his status as a patient was at risk. I was simply given a new appointment for 7/2. To then arrive and be told that his appointment was unconfirmed and that he had been discharged, with no prior notice was shocking and deeply frustrating. The communication breakdown was unacceptable. I strongly advise against seeking care from this office, especially if you or your loved one is living with a disability. Managing a disability is hard enough without the added stress of poor communication, indifference, and a lack of compassion from a healthcare provider and their staff. read more

I Have received outstanding care from Dr. Gavin Van Staden. He has a very caring personality and I feel he is working with me on my care not just processing me which is very refreshing. My scheduling and appointments have been excellent. The main desk is very friendly and helpful. First of all, let me say that my experiences with the medical staff, Drs. Dawson and Kathuria, have been excellent. Both are top notch and supremely competent. The admin staff, however, leaves much to be desired. Today, 8/8/25, my calendar showed I had an appointment with Dr. Kathuria ay 9:40 AM. When I arrived, the clerk at the front desk told me that my appointment was actually 8/13/25 at 9:40!!! Well, I presumed that my wife had mistakenly written the day on the calendar until we got home and found the appointment card I'd been given 2 months ago: it showed 8/8/25, not 8/13. So, my tacit presumption is that the assistant who wrote down the day and time on the card made the mistake, once again. I had an old card I'd picked up several years ago that had the number of the office manager to call if I had less than a 5 star experience but I called and the number is no longer in service. I can only presume he did this as the number of dissatisfied patients was astronomical so I'm posting this in lieu of direct communication and, needless to say, this was less than a 5 star experience. Well, I'll be there on the 13th and probably give someone an EXTREMELY unpleasant time about this. Quite disappointing. read more

My primary care doctor and my pulmonologist are still at this location; and, on this visit, I saw my pulmonologist to get cleared for surgery. I was very happy with the care and professionalism of my doctor; and, I felt very good about my recent Lung Function Test, as well as gaining the clearance for surgery! It was great to see her, as I am down to only 1 or 2 visits a year. The chemotherapy is working great; and, my lung issues have stabilized. read more

The best set of doctors. I have two that I see there. The eye doctor and dr baeg. The only problem I have is the drive there and home. It's a 40 minute drive. But other than that I love the doctors and nurses. The wait isn't long either in the waiting room. The eye doctor dr Patel is really nice and he listens. I have been going to UCF Health for years for my medical needs (mostly at the Quadrangle location; occasionally at the Lake Nona location). I love the doctors; especially Dr. Maria Cannarozzi. The receptionists are nice, the wait time is reasonable (and sometimes very quick). However, UCF Health has just about the WORST bill paying system I've even had to deal with. If you receive an invoice with a balance for services due and don't want to send a check, you're in for an unpleasant surprise: - They don't provide an easy way to pay for the invoice online (which pretty much all other medical services offer these days) - To pay by phone, you have to call the main number, select 4 (no option to talk to an operator), then select 1 to pay your bill, and wait on the line for 30 to 45 minutes, listening to a bad recording with phone static and a "leave a message" option that doesn't work. When you finally get to the operator, you are told that they have to transfer you to one of the two people who deal with billing (even though that was the extension you were directed to choose). Once transferred, you have to leave a message and wait for the call back. - After all that, I did receive a call back from Cheryl, a nice and helpful person from the billing department, and I was able to quickly pay my bill at that point. I just don't understand why a reputable medical outfit such as UCF Health still relies on an outdated and inefficient bill paying system! At the very least, it's a big waste of time for patients, but this works against them, too. For weeks, I called several times to try to pay my bill, but kept hanging up to try again later, due to the absurdly long wait times... read more

The incompetence level with this practice is abhorrent. Waited SEVEN weeks for a physical appointment for my son with Dr. Michael Seifert - SEVEN WEEKS - and 1 day before the appointment I am notified he "won't be in". And, asked if it would be OK if my son were to see a Nurse Practitioner one day the following week. I said OK as long is he gets a full physical. The staff member tells me "Oh no, new patients don't get physicals on their first visit", WHAT?????? Yes, after waiting for SEVEN weeks, and 2 previous phone calls confirming and arranging payment (Did I mention it's a CASH pay appointment?) and NO ONE told me this new information. Clearly, when I booked this appointment SEVEN WEEKS ago, I told the person it was for a FULL PHYSICAL. We discussed what lab work would be ordered and how I would pay. So today, they want my son to go twice, to pay for TWO visits, in order to get his physical. My, how all mighty capitalistic of you. I was offered a "call back" from "one of the managers" because she refused to ask one of them to speak to me now. I called another physician around the corner and they have no problem at all offering a physical to my son next week. What a twit I was to wait SEVEN WEEKS for this crap. Bad karma for the doctor. The doctors are nice and of course knowledgable, the Nurse Practitioners are excellent and very Human in their interactions. The staff is extremely friendly, the wait times are short. I came to UCF Pegasus because I finally decided to deal with some back pain that I've been attempting to ignore for years. I have to say the support staff here is excellent. The gentlemen that greeted me were very friendly and the medical assistant that did the initial diagnostics really put me at ease despite my anxiety regarding coming in. As I filled out my new patient paperwork, Tracy came and introduced herself to me and gave me her card and told me to call her if I ever had questions about what was covered with my insurance, how much certain things would cost, etc. She seemed very helpful. I am seeing Dr. Oliveira and I felt like he was extremely thorough. I never felt rushed as I have with other doctors. He was willing to spend as much time with me as was necessary rather than feeling pressured to rush through everything. Monday nights they are open late, which is great for me as it is difficult to take off work for doctor's appointments. When I left it was dark and the medical assistant offered to walk me to my car, so thoughtful. 5 stars all the way. read more

UCF Pegasus Health is an incredible office. The office they are using is actually the first doctors office I used when I moved to Orlando over 14 years ago. Back then, it was one of the few offices for Physicians Associates. The office was very "clinic" looking back then - and you used to sit and wait, and wait, and wait for a doctor. It was never a good experience. Imagine my surprise when I saw a story on the news that this office is now UCF Pegasus Health. I was looking for a new physician, so I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The office doesn't look ANYTHING like the old office. In fact, it looks modern, clean, warm, friendly and welcoming. Is this really a doctors office? When you walk in, there is a front desk and they got me taken care of. They had me take a seat in the waiting area, the "patient specialist" comes to speak to you about the facility, etc. Everyone is warm, friendly and outgoing. They then take you back into the very nice waiting rooms to see the doctor - and you don't wait forever for a doctor! When the doctor comes in, the exam is probably one of the most thorough exams I've ever had. They spend a lot of time with you, to make sure that all your questions are answered. You definitely need to put aside about an hour for your visit. This isn't the type of office that they see you and then say "NEXT". I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for a new doctor. The office is beautiful, the staff is great and it makes you want to come back. (Now I just hope that they will open a second office in the Lake Nona area - by the UCF College of Medicine!!!) read more

This is the Nordstrom of doctors offices. I was greeted immediately and invited to sit down in a small, cozy room while I filled out my paperwork. A patient representative came in to see if I had any questions and took my co-pay. The medical assistant Natalia is a doll, absolutely personable, friendly, and made me feel more at ease. The doctor took her time with me, explained everything, treated me with respect and compassion, and wow.....even had a sense of humor. This is a sharp contrast to some of the medical "care" I experienced while living in New York City (although I do recommend the Langone Center). The building itself was inviting and did not look at at all like a typical drab clinical setting. Even the exam room had a mirror, hook to hang your clothing, and comfy chairs so you don't have to sit on the exam table the whole time. I am relieved to have found this place and even more relieved to know that the care I will receive will be superior. I ended up having a minor problem and was referred to specialist by my doctor. Not only did the office seamlessly take care of the referral, the doctor followed twice to check on me and make sure I had what I needed and seemed genuinely concerned with my condition. I cannot say I have this pleasant of an experience with most medical practices. read more

I do not recommend to anyone. I was a new pt to this establishment and after talking to a nurse about some symptoms that I was experiencing I was told to leave work and come directly in immediately just for the nurses and doctors to refuse to see me or even give me anything to provide to my job. I am still to this day currently to this day still getting different bills being sent out to me from this medical facilities with different charges each month for that one "visit" that occurred over a year ago. FIND SOMEWHERE else do not go! It'll save you so much time and aggravation! read more

UCF Health - Main Lobby - Medical Centers Near Me - Orlando, Florida

The people I should depend upon and trust the most are our healthcare workers---the Doctors, Nurses, Assistants, and Technicians who provide care.  I totally rely these professionals for evaluation and treatment. I was especially disappointed during my most recent visits to the practice of Dr. Bernard Gros, 3400 Quadrangle Blvd, Orlando.  The manners, professionalism, and treatment by the staff was totally unacceptable. My first visit was on July 9th which went okay.  The second visit was on July 13th, 3:45 PM  The purpose of the visit was for an echo-cardiogram.  During this visit I was extremely upset over how I was treated.  I felt humiliated and mentally/emotionally hurt. I checked in and had a seat in the waiting room.  After sitting for approximately five minutes, I heard a hissing sound.  The person behind the check-in desk was calling me.  I felt it was rather rude.  I walked up to her and she asked me my name. My name should have been known as I had just signed in and was the only one in the waiting room.  The hissing was very unprofessional and not what I would expect from someone who works in the UCF Medical network. After that, a Technician took me into the test room to prepare me for the procedure.  The Technician, Cheryl, asked me to sign a consent form.  I never signed one of these forms for the same procedure in the past, however; I thought maybe the process had changed.  She told me she would have to exfoliate the skin  I thought this was unusual as in the past my skin had previously been cleaned with alcohol wipes. When she exfoliated me, I felt like my skin was being scrubbed with sandpaper.  It was extremely painful.  At hat time, I didn't trust if she was correctly preparing me for the test. After the echo cardiogram my skin was burning and I was in pain.  When I got home I went to the shower.  I looked at my body and saw red scratch marks all over.  Most noticeable were the marks under my left breast.  One was a long as 10 inches long and 2 to 2 and a half inches wide.  There were also marks in five other places.  I looked as if a cat had scratched me so I took pictures.  The marks were very red and I felt a burning sensation.  It's been several days since the test and my skin is still burning and hurts.  In fact, even after four days I feel burning.  I even got some cream from my Doctor to help me. I think she was intentionally rough and didn't provide sufficient explanation about the process and the physical reactions I would have.  The manners and treatment were totally unacceptable. read more

Dr. Adigweme has found his calling, I met Dr. O in he Hospital after a motorcycle accident that broke my Femur and Hip, he came in with that big smile and with that- we are going to fix you attitude and he did i was walking the next morning after Surgery and out of the Hospital 3 days later he takes time with you not just as a Doctor but as a person too he defiantly cares how you feel physically and mentally and takes time to go over everything with you. This review is not for any of the doctors or the place. The place is a 5 stars and so far, the doctors I have seeing, are very good and professionals. This one star review is for the nasty lady to whom I talked on the phone today. Someone who take care of appointments. I was requesting an appointment for my daughter, who is 25 years old, to see the 5 stars dermatologist David Weinstein. I was told by her that he is not taking new patients. When I asked her, when would be the next time, in one month, one year?.. she answer with an angry tone " NEVER, EVER AGAIN ". I said really? She said it is in the website. I visited the website and I can not find where is that. When I asked her other questions, she sounds very angry. She Told me to tell my 25 years old to call them for an appt since she was already an adult. I told her, I was trying to do that for her, because she was working and does not have the time! I finally got upset and hung up the phone. That place wants to keep the professionalism of all their employees up graded, but that lady, she does not have an idea what is that about. Remember, if you want an appt, as a new patient, with Dr. Weinstein, do not even try. He is NEVER, EVER TAKING NEW PATIENTS. Why is he then in all the advertisers of the place? read more

When I'm sick and grumpy, UCF Health always takes good care of me! It looks more like a hotel than a doctors office when you walk in, and it makes me feel fancy (and slightly out of place with all my germs). Everyone is so nice there. After you check in, they'll look and see if any copayments etc are owed and meet with you one on one to explain any fees. On my last visit I found out I did not have to pay a single penny! Best surprise ever. I've had the same nurse my past 2 visits who is upbeat and funny which makes it a more pleasant experience. He is quick about taking all vitals and symptoms so the doctor can be up to speed. The physicians I've seen at UCF Health have all been really attentive and make sure to check all possibilities for what may be wrong with me. The strep and flu tests are not pleasant by any means but I appreciate them checking just in case. After determining my illness (bronchitis most recently, ugh) they send the prescriptions right over to CVS electronically for me! Talk about convenience. The last thing I want to do while sick is wander into CVS and wait for meds. I will definitely continue visiting UCF Health for any needs I have. They are conveniently located to my home and they truly care about their patients and value everyone's time as well. It is a nice change from doctors offices who just try and get you in and out to move on to the next person to make money from! Sidenote: They also take walk-ins for existing patients from 8-9 in the morning, so an appointment can be bypassed which is great for unplanned illnesses. I walked right in and was seen just a few minutes later! read more

These offices are horribly managed!! It takes days to get a return phone call if you're lucky enough to get a return phone call. They have no sense of urgency, they take days to do a simple referral. The physicians that I have seen are good but the office is so horribly managed you might as well take your issues someplace else. read more

Awful. Crappy customer service. If you're 10 minutes late they cancel your appointment, however arrive on time and they make you wait over an hour to be seen. On more than one occasion they have failed to approve prescriptions to routine daily medications. Just horrible. They overbook so they look for any reason to reschedule. Time for a new doctor. Wow. Just wow. I can't remember the last time I had an enjoyable visit to a doctor's office. I'm not sure I ever have. Maybe before I got too old to get candy as I was leaving. That has changed with my move to UCF's new Pegasus Health office. The facility is on University Boulevard, just a mile or two from campus. The pleasant surprises started as soon as I walked in. I was greeted with a welcoming "Good morning!" as soon as the doors opened. That surprised me almost as much as the fact that I could hear AND see the receptionist. She wasn't hidden behind a wall and a pane of fogged glass. She was sitting at a normal desk, in plain sight. I didn't have to write my name on a piece of paper before seeing an arm reach out from behind that pane of fogged glass and snatch it away, like Thing from The Addams Family. Because it was my first visit, I was seated in a small waiting room where a new patient specialist came to meet me. Wait, a WHAT?!? Yes, someone came to welcome me and answer questions before I even saw the doctor. Imagine that. The physician's assistant was quick to see me. She was friendly (as was every staff member I saw in the office), asked a few questions and handed my file off to the doctor. The doc spent a good hour with me, getting a background and answering any questions I had. He was clearly passionate about his work and took a real interest in my health. For the first time in a long time, I didn't feel like I was another number and felt like I was talking with someone who genuinely enjoyed his work. I can't say enough about UCF Pegasus Health. If you're looking for a new healthcare provider, do yourself a favor and visit their office. read more

I am new to Fla. and reside in Oviedo. I thought it would be a nightmare to find all of the doctors I would need. I have so many medical issues and finding all of my doctors in one place is a huge help. You don't have to repeat your same medical history over and over, this is big for me. I have had and continue to have the best care possible from each and everyone in this location from the front desk to the doctors. I took sick while at the center and " EVERYONE" there jumped into action, i was rushed to the hospital by ambulance asap, possible stroke. Thank god it wasn't. But I am also thankful that it happened while i was there. I am known to the staff as Trouble, do not take this in a bad way. the staff at UCF Health is OUTSTANDING. i have been going there for years. I joke with them, thus the name. but to be serious, having my general Practitioner, Cardiologist, Dermatologist and Ortho all under one roof with ONE medical record has its distinct advantages. THEY all have my medicines on one list, they know what other physicians are treating me for all under one umbrella and since most are teaching at the UCF school of Medicine, they have the latest technologies available for you. EKG's, Xrays all available on the premises. I would be a failure if i did not give credit to the following people there. Cindy ARNP, DR. Gros, Dr. Sami and Dr. Salazar, these good people have nothing but my good health as their goal. i would also be amiss if i did not thank Heather for putting up with me and giving me the mantra of "TROUBLE" she always has the answers. this is the best practice i have ever gone to. read more

Unbelievable! I came to Pegasus to see Dr Mazzo because she was highly rated. What a surprise when I arrived. Every individual treated me as an honored guest. This is definitely the "Disney World" of medical practices. All I can say is "Wow". And Dr. Mazzo is on the cutting edge. I read everything I could find on Thyroid Disease. I knew within minutes that Dr. Mazzo was the right doctor for me. After years of struggling with doctors who were "behind the times" I finally have found the doctor that I can trust. I have NEVER had a doctor listen to me so much. When she told me what she wanted to do she asked if I was OK with that. My previous two doctors went strictly by the numbers and I had a long list of symptoms to prove that this was not working. I am ecstatic with Pegasus and Dr. Mazzo. read more
