Initially, we'd planned a big project but scaled it back to fit our budget, and they were so accommodating with re-bidding and adjusting the scope. They tackled several paver landings for us, handled electrical work that was damaged during digging (my fault), and trenched about 70-80 feet to install a spigot at the back of the property. They also replaced a large amount of mulch--about 13 cubic yards--and did a top-notch job. What really impressed us was how adaptable they were. Mid-project, we decided we wanted the entire front yard torn out and resodded. They had a crew out the next day, removed the old sod, brought in topsoil, tilled it, and laid the new sod--all on short notice. They even trimmed a tree outside the original plan and left the property immaculate afterward. Our city council sent out notice that we had to reduce water usage. I tried to change mine on the controller and jacked it all up. I called the people who laid the sod and got a message to call back on Monday. Called the landscaper and got the same message (plus it was a holiday weekend). To add to the craziness we were leaving town the next day. Googled sprinkler repair and got a dozen names. All giving me the same message to call back on Monday. Half way through the list I get Matt. He answers and tells me he can't come out but will talk me through it. On the first phase I screw up and get it wrong. He is patient and talks me through it again. We get disconnected halfway through, but I think I got it. Two hours later Matt calls me back. He's out camping and was in a dead spot but is good to go. I tell him what I did , and he still has to make corrections for me. The next day I check and the sprinkler is operating as expected. Can't say enough about Matt he is a man of character and will be my sprinkler guy for life.

Just had LawnDoctor show up at my house yesterday, do a treatment, and then bill me 80 bucks for it- all with no contract and no request by me to have it done. Their statement is that the services are continual, and you have to call to stop it . . . which I never agreed to beforehand. I have already contracted with Weedman (1/2 the price), and I asked LawnDoctor to take it off my bill- but no, they still are charging me half. What crooks!!! Stay away from these thieves- use another company!!! read more

I was so impressed with this company! They were very friendly and polite on the phone, and incredibly helpful. I needed someone immediately to take a look at a lawn for me. Everyone else in town said 5-7 days. They agreed to help me within 24 hours even though they were very busy as well. As soon as the tech made it out to the property, he called me to let me know the issues and took care of everything I needed. Very accommodating and professional. read more

We had a large area in our lawn that was killed by mites. In addition to keeping the rest of our lawn looking good, Lawn Doctor was able to come in and fix the affected area and re-seed it to get it back into shape. The technician, Brad Hatton, has done an excellent job keeping me informed of lawn and weed issues during service. First year using Lawn Doctor and they have kept my lawn green and lush throughout the year. The price was fair, the work was done in a timely manner and the property was left clean. That is what I appreciated about the interaction with this company. What was not appreciated was the text I received in the 24 hours after the work was done that basically threatened to return all of the limbs and debris to the driveway of the property if the bill was not paid immediately. I didn't know this business when I called and asked for them to do the work, but I trusted that they would do what they said they would do and they did. But showing trust in a customer is just as important. Sending this text to your customer after 1 day doesn't show a lot of trust or even that you value your customers. This is what was received: "Payment is due?" Then shortly after that, this one followed: "I saved all of the debris, If im not payed. I will put it in the driveway of that house." Not appreciated, not even for a moment. I can assure you that I will not be a repeat customer of Norman's Expert Tree Care in the future and cannot endorse them as a company you would want to trust with the work you need done.

The chain saw made quick work of the tree, but required James to go up the tree and remove the branches starting with the small ones, and ensuring they fell away from the house. Paige was on the second crew that came in with a machine we'd never heard of--a stump grinder. Lots of wood and debris resulted. As with the first crew, they did a thorough job cleaning up with a gas-powered leaf blower and plastic bin for all the wood shavings. The first crew used a wood chipper. Paige also answered some unrelated lawn questions I had. Similarly, Jeremiah also removed a small ash and dead bushes. Both also took away some metal stakes that were left by previous owner that I couldn't easily dispose of. We're so happy with the professionalism and sheer niceness of these people, we wanted to write a review. It's also great to not worry about the tree splitting and injuring the house and to have lots more planting space. Nice people deserve to be rewarded!
