He…read moregave me the most affordable estimate (out of 5 local estimates) to trim dead branches off of a huge cottonwood tree in our yard. He and his office manager/wife were meticulous in scheduling a date for the work (8-1-16) and called several days in advance to confirm. On the day of the trim Kevin arrived exactly when promised: 7:15am! He worked tirelessly and methodically on our gigantic cottonwood, cutting, and then chipping logs until 2:30pm. When he was finished, he even showed me the chipped wood and asked if I wanted any of it to use as mulch around our yard. My husband and I said we did want the mulched cottonwood as our yard has several spots where it will be useful. Kevin was so friendly and professional. Our tree (which we know we will loose in about 2 more years) is no longer an eye-sore and will continue to shade our home for another 2 years. We started off with another landscaper that ended up going out of business…read more Fortunately we only lost a little money with those folks, but we nonetheless had to start the shopping process over again. We found J&P on Yelp, and they were able to start w/in a fairly quick time frame. The crew was on time, every time. We didn't have the funds to nail down our whole project in one season, but put a good dent into the final project this year. These guys laid pavers for a pretty good sized patio for us, and we've gotten numerous compliments on how great it looks. They spent a tremendous amount of time measuring, leveling & cutting all the pavers to get them perfectly in place. The project took longer than I anticipated - but only because they spent so much time working on getting everything laid out and level. Our final project calls for a pretty good sized outdoor fireplace. In addition to the pavers, they planted some trees and threw in a couple trees for us, and they did the rough ins for the gas line once we actually get to the fireplace. We are quite pleased with our choice of landscapers and can't wait to get everything finished up.
