Would give a zero if I could. Merged with my other lawn care and took over my account. First treatment was not even dome over the entire area to treat. Came back for a spot treatment. Yard is in the worse shape in years. Weeds everywhere. Cancelled serice and they said the would refund my accout surplus amount. Did this the first of April. Then nothing, then said refund is done and on my way on April 21. Then nothing again, Then the said it was industry standard for refund checks to arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. Another lie. Ohio Attorney Office confirm they were in violation of state law requiring refunds to be done in 30 days. Now been 53 days. They are a worthless and cheating company and do extremely poor serice. Avoid them like the plague. Have started a civil suit which will cost the 10s of thousand of dollars for committing a crime againt a protected class citizen. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience. They completely failed to even lessen the mole problem, and misinformed me that I did not have grubs in my yard. They did nothing to resolve the issue other than offer to retreat for hundreds of dollars more. read more

We've had Lawn Plus for a couple of years and have not been happy, so we cancelled. They advertised 4 applications and they stated .... don't trust a company that pushes 6 applications. These people killed my lawn and tree then refused to admit it. They showed me a photo from 2015 and it actually looked better than current status. My advice, just get a bag of weed n feed and a bag of grass seed because it produced better results than lawn plus. read more

This is the second year I have used Lawns Plus. Last year I paid after each treatment and this worked okay. This year I prepaid for the entire year. That was a mistake. I have had to call them numerous times to schedule my prepaid lawn treatments. I am still waiting for the fall treatment. Called their office on November 16. They said they have until December 15 to complete this treatment. Doesn't seam like a good idea to apply the fertilizer to frozen ground. They did say that they could skip this treatment and credit the value toward next years service. This does not work for me because next year they will not be treating my lawn. I started using Lawn Plus after first trying a different lawncare business and feeling unimpressed. My neighbors have a beautiful lawn so when I noticed the Lawn Plus truck in front of their house, and then both houses across the street from me, I gave it a shot. They turned my lawn from a dustbowl to a thriving lawn in one year. We usually have Pat Dawson come as our technician and he does a great job. He's great with communication about any issues with the lawn or any scheduling conflicts and that is important to me. I'm finally not embarrassed about my lawn! read more

First they claimed to come out and take care our weeds and I spend the next 10 days pulling out what they were supposed to kill....So I call them its during business hours and I get a msg...Then when I call back to cancel my service they didnt even ask why...I dont recommend this service to anyone!! read more

We have used Lawn Minus for almost 5 years. We had good service for the first three years. When we were not seeing progress in our new lawn after two years we notified them in January we would not use them again. In March, they performed a service on our lawn we never requested. They are forcing us to now to pay for a company we cancelled their service. They will not let let you leave. Lawn Minus does not notify you before they " treat" your lawn. We are much happier with our new service and good riddance to Lawn Minus. read more

I had about 1 acre of brush cleared off my property and Matt from Lawn Plus did a great job and did it with out leaving a mess. The equipment didn't trash my yard or leave ruts, and he was very personal and took time to answer my questions and concerns. Scheduling was also easy and very flexible. I had this company do one lawn service and then I cancelled. I was told they would send their arborist "Doug" for my initial lawn treatment so he could develop a plan on also servicing my arborvites and shrubs. That wasn't who they sent. In addition, I have 2 dogs, a fenced yard, and locked gates. I was told they would call ahead the day before. That didn't happen either. So zero for two with a new customer. When I called their office, "Jeff" had no idea why "Doug" didn't do the service. No apology. No offer to tell him to call me. Nothing. I mailed the payment with a letter and asked when "Doug" would be contacting me. After almost 2 weeks with no phone call, I cancelled and went with another company who actually sent their certified arborist out the same day I called. There are tons of lawn companies out there and based on my experience this is one I clearly would not recommend. read more

3 years ago I was impressed by a neighbor's lawn: plush, green . . . I inquired; he said lawn Plus had been treating his yard. I investigated LP and several other companies and settled on this firm In 2 years, my lawn has been transformed to one with an assortment of weeds and crabgrass to one that receives many compliments from neighbors and family members. I have found LP to be responsive to requests and to follow through in a timely and honest way. read more

Rodney Creech is the most unprofessional businessman I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to over the phone. Not only did he threaten me to not do a seeding he had promised to do, but he pretty much never showed up. Was hired by my husband to take care of our lawn, they rolled over an area that was infested with grubs and as the area continued to brown they continued to fertilize, never bringing up the obvious grub damage. My husband caught the technician on his way out of yard on our last application and brought the damage to his attention. He graciously applied a grub treatment as he had some leftover from a recent job and said he would let the office know and someone would contact us to come out and look at damage.Which they did, after my husband called back and talked to them about the seeding and treatment, he was offered a grub treatment at a discounted price and a free seeding. A gentleman who finally came out affirmed they would seed the area and contact us in a week with an estimate for a grub treatment for the next season. After two phone calls with the company and promises of seeding for over two months, I contacted the company after the death of my husband, told them I did not want future treatments but would appreciate if they honored their word to seed the damage. Mr. Creech called me back, threatened me that he wouldn't honor the seeding because I fired them told me he was a commissioner, has 5000 customers and he has never had a complaint! Don't do business with this man he is a bully and has zero business integrity. Not only did he lie and break a promise to a man who was very ill with cancer, but he disrespected the widow by backing out and not following through with his promise to fix the dead spots in our yard that they fertilized all year! All my neighbors watched and waited as I did for Mr. Creech to step up and make good on his promise. They all know no one ever showed up and inquired about who did our yard. I don't think Lawn Plus will be getting any more clients from my area. read more
