Wow, what a law firm! Look at all the one-star reviews from yelp! My experience was really bad too. I put my request via their chat box, then the next day I got a voice mail from Kimberly, one of their lawyers, asking me to call her back. I called her back right away, but she hang up on me after she asked me a few questions. It did not occur to me that she did it on purpose until I called the law firm back, told the woman who picked up the phone that I was cut off by Kimberly, then this woman said that she will let Kimberly know that I was expecting a call back, but Kimberly had never called me back. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!! This place is full of JOKERS! Communication sucks layers suck the whole law firm SUCKS! They wanna charge you an arm and a leg for NOTHING! Then they will tell you to show up to court looking nice and will turn around and show up looking like they just rolled outta bed! Yea Tami Harmon looked like she just rolled outta bed not professional hair looking greasy like a mop like hadn't been washed in days. The the owner Rodd shows up to court with Tami and didn't do S***. Linda will also hide and hide from you always "busy" when you call . This law firm is just good for paper pushing! Also had to contact them 2 months after I paid there retainer to get them to get the ball rolling I could write a book of horror stories about this law firm. Do yourself a favor and find another law firm! Also do not fire them because Rodd will still show up to court and try to publicly shame you and he's really the JACK***! Wow...absolute garbage, and I wish I could give 0 stars...where to start. This is long, but I hope it paints the picture. Please bear in mind that all of this can be proven with email and phone traffic. Communication is TERRIBLE. For every 10 calls it is a miracle if someone answers the phones 1 time. When you do get in touch with them, you are greeted by a receptionist that "has only been there a week and hasn't been trained" (a direct quote). The consultation was originally with Mr. Lawrence, who seemed very competent and like a good fit for the case at hand. We decided to move forward with this law firm under the guise that he would be handling the case. However, once money started flowing to the firm, Linda was put on the case with no notice or communication. In 3 months, we received ONE correspondence, although we reached out via email and text numerous times. After an exhausting game of phone tag, we finally got in touch to schedule a meeting via phone call. That was set to happen at 9 in the morning. Come 10AM that day, we heard nothing, and upon calling the office, the ever so lovely receptionist was completely lost when it came to this appointment. We were told Linda was busy, and she would call in an hour. That hour came and went. We reached out again, now Linda was nowhere to be found. This happened until 3PM that day, when we eventually told them that we no longer wished to utilize their services. Linda called at 8PM, with no knowledge that we were bringing our case elsewhere, and wanted a refund. This happened 7/14. It is now 7/24, and the office receptionist has been continuously hanging up and refusing to answer calls. Still no refund. PLEASE do not waste your time. This office is severely fragmented and has no business in family law. read more

The lack of professionalism is truly astounding. If you expect to have a call returned, don't try this firm. If you expect communication, don't waste your time or money here. On several occasions I heard "We will give you a call back in 1-2 hours" but I would never receive a call back at all. I was told I would be receiving an email regarding my case "in just a few minutes" only to receive it days later. This didn't happen once or twice, this was a regular occurrence. I had planned on firing them after they botched a submission to the court, but I was foolish to stick around until they blew through another $2500 of mine with not tangible progress in my case, nor no specific endgame. Unprofessional. Lack Communication. Given the Run-Around. In a nutshell, I'm still waiting on a full refund on a retainer for services I did not use. I paid the full retainer on 7/1, and then cancelled on 7/8. Between this time frame, I had not met with any of the lawyers face to face (only the secretary, to hand over my initial paperwork), never received a follow-up email or communication from my visit on 7/1, and nothing was ever filed on my behalf. They just now refunded back a portion of my retainer on 8/30, minus $690!! Not to mention, no proof, no bill. I had not even met this lawyer Linda face-to-face until last week when I personally went to the office to finally get this issue settled. I utilized none of their services within a week's time frame, so charging me $690 is outrageous. I would not recommend. It has been wearisome dealing with this firm, and I have been truly taken aback with the lack of professionalism (they also do not return phone calls or emails in a timely manner, if even at all). read more

Linda has been my attorney for a few years now and within our two year client/lawyer relationship she has done more for me than my previous local attorney to say the least. She has prepared me for meetings with the Guardian Ad Litem and helped me gain confidence in understanding and exercising my rights in a co-parenting situation. While I do not recommend anyone even get started within the court system unless you have at least $100,000 sitting around to give away and several years of your life.... having Linda in my corner has been a blessing for me and my child. Examples: Linda's Invoices are concise and detailed so you know why she is charging what she is charging. Before Linda sends out paperwork to apposing counsel she asks her client's to verify information, and even takes into consideration what to add and what to subtract. She considers her strategies wisely and when a strategy doesn't work as expected she rebounds well with an improved strategy. Just like a tie-down on a truck, every time the handle gets pulled back a bit she reigns in on the problems and tightens her stance with increasing effectiveness. I agree with the previous review. The Lawrence Law Office is terrible at communicating. They only want your money and they will drag your case out for as long as possible to get as much as they can out of you. I spent an enormous amount of money with this firm and got nowhere with my case, it dragged on for almost 2 years. I hired a different attorney and got my case resolved in less than four months, I firmly believe if I had hired my second attorney first it would have been resolved in half the time and half the expense with 10x better communication and professionalism.
