After finding out they mishandled my paperwork and going a week of hearing nothing about scheduling a consultation with their surgery team, a friend recommended I try Conestoga. I called Conestoga on a Wednesday, had a consultation with an oral surgeon for my tooth the next day, and the tooth was out the following Wednesday. The kicker? The oral surgeon (super guy) gave me local anesthesia and had the tooth out in 60 seconds...no broken root, no pain at all. The tooth split because I didn't have a crown put on it ‍. Not going to lie, I was pretty nervous about having this done because of an very rough extraction I had done in the past. This experience with Dr. Eckhart was nothing like my past experience. He explained the procedure clearly and showed me exactly what was about to happen. Because he shared with me the "what" and "why" about the procedure it really set me at ease. I had a tough case because of the root canal done years ago. He was in and out in about 25 minutes and I didn't feel a thing! I felt a little pressure but no where near uncomfortable. He also put in an implant, which took about 2 minutes, so I will be able to chew on that side of my mouth. All of this happened yesterday and I am pain free today! I was very upset and cancelled everything with this group and went to another periodontist who completed only the needed surgery. They did forward all my records to the second dentist.
