I was three hours away on my way home to Dallas. I googled to see what bowling centers that I would…read morepass on my return trip. Most all of them were scheduled to be closed at the time I would be arriving. Google said this bowling center was open till midnight. I called, and the gentleman that answered said they were open till 11 PM. I drove three hours and arrive here at exactly 10 PM. As I approach the front desk as I approach the front desk I could hear the long disappointed sigh. In response, I said I called and you said you guys are open till 11. His response was it is kind of was that it's kind of hard to stay open for one person. That would have made a lot more sense if there hadn't been six people already bowling. I wanted to leave this bowling center the second I walk in. The man working the counter tonight, who looks like he's just out of prison Had nothing short of a non-inviting attitude. If I was his boss, I would fire his ass tonight. People often wonder where our bowling industry get such a bad reputation, but after my experience tonight, I can tell you that many of those seeds are planted right here in Lawton, OK. I did order a beer, And if you can look past the bartender only wearing socks, everything else was just fine. I give them a neutral view only because the bowling in and of it's self was great. The lanes are well cared for, and I had no issues with the pinsetter's. There are something like 18 lanes, and prison boy put me directly next to the only other lane in use. Really? Clearly not a bowler himself. The floor staff needs an attitude overhaul. The maint staff deserves five stars.

Unbeknownst to me, this attraction focuses on Oklahoma's aquatic life AND native wildlife. I thought it was just an aquarium, so I was surprised to see river otters, snakes, spiders and even a bobcat and coyote! We even saw Madagascar hissing cockroaches! I wasn't expecting to see all these other creatures at all, so it was a nice surprise. The butterfly exhibit was closed during my visit. Regarding the quails, we could either hand feed them or throw food in their direction. The staff said they'll come right up to us. They didn't. Other people in the enclosure had no luck either. There were walking trails outside of the main building, so wear comfortable clothing, footwear and bring sun protection. We didn't stay here super long as I started getting anxious about the long drive back home. It's a public park. Free parking. There was a playground. A decent sized lake. Walking/running path. I stopped here mainly because the Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center is just a few hundred yards away. Go touch grass! Your brain and heart will thank you.

It had a bedroom and a loft with another bed upstairs (both beds were full size). The kitchen has a microwave and stove, but no oven. It also has a refrigerator. There is a small TV with Direct TV if there's a game or something you just can't miss. There is also decent cell service (we have AT&T) and WiFi access. The bathroom had just a shower, which isn't a big deal for many people, but something to keep in mind if you have kids that only take baths. You have to bring your own linens. This is located on base at Fort Sill, but I believe people without a military ID can access the area with a visitors pass. In addition to cabins are tent sites and RV sites. You don't have to be camping to use the beach and other amenities like the playgrounds after paying an entrance fee. The beach has a lifeguard on duty and a facility with restrooms/showers. There is a little room for improvement when it comes to maintenance. There was peeling paint on our cabin, spiderwebs in many places outside, and a piece missing on our bench on the porch. There were seagull feathers and (dog?) poop all over the beach. Two of the three playgrounds were covered with overgrown grass (but to be fair one had a sign saying it was undergoing maintenance). Overall, I thought it was a great value at $90 per night. It's nothing fancy, but our cabin was perfect for "glamping" and the area is beautiful with picturesque views of Mount Scott. It was a nice, relaxing escape and I look forward to visiting again!

I had a long layoff due to surgery on my left knew meniscus. I went to the range a few times then…read moreplayed 2 rounds of golf. Disaster hit...I could not get off the tee. It was like I never played the game before ever. I reached out to Grant who I took some lessons from last year. Grant was able to fit me in. I explained what happened and within 20 minutes he had me hitting the ball consistently off the tee to acceptable distance and in play. He broke down the swing thoughts to the most basic fundamentals to help me get back to something acceptable. I played yesterday and reduced by score by 13 strokes. More importantly Grant gave me the confidence to apply the basics to improve my confidence in my swing. I highly recommend Grant for any golfer at any level as his knowledge of the swing and the mindset of the player is extremely rare!

Some are tiny and others quite large, however each is a place set aside for the community. Gray Warr is actually a decent sized area. The boot camp I attend is occasionally held here. There are some run down softball fields, tennis courts and a small playground. The grounds are maintained and it serves its purpose as a safe recreation area for individuals, children or families. It is A-OK!
