I really miss Safeway and their particular way of doing things, but I think thats more out of homesickness than due to them really being any better.. Actually I've been starting to think that Sobeys is doing much better with regards to their selection than their western competitors..especially in the organic/alternative department and with their gluten free products.. Since I live in the US, its still difficult for me to stomach the exorbitant prices of everything, but that aside I still think they do a great job and I love how well organized and clean everything seems to be.

I believe they have very long dark wavy hair. she has to be the most rude and unpleasant young lady ive encountered in this kind of setting. her nonverbal aggression with the eye rolling, the sighs, the long stares. it is so aggravating that I HATE to go in person to pick up prescriptions once a month. 4. ppl on mental health meds or weight loss meds are not for the staff to judge and make fun of. im sitting waiting for a prescription that was supposed to be ready the day before and this young lady answers the phone. she hangs up, and in front of customers, she starts making fun of the man's accent, the fact that he needed a weight loss meds renewed. it is truly unacceptable!!! I will be done with this pharmacy as of today. I've reached my limit

I recently had all my prescriptions transferred to this location, mostly because the pharmacists are much more on the ball here. Note I said pharmacists... the same cannot necessarily be said about their support staff. Other nice things about this location: loads of parking, near the gym, near many other convenient shopping locations, central location between Halifax and the 'burbs like Bedford and Hammond's Plains, it's a new location so its often quieter than other Lawtons locations and high quality pharmacists who seem to know what they are doing.

I find the wait times for prescriptions are pretty quick and if you can in beforehand you have no wait at all. Believe it or not, this small drugstore has a great gift-ware selection so if you are in a jam for a gift you may want to pop in to this Lawtons. I also like that they have a Home Health section where you can buy or rent just about anything you may need to make life at home easier.

The owner of Performance Orthopaedic Bracing in Windsor called me the same day & was at my house the next day to measure me for my brace. This is a convenient location with easy parking and a clean well organized store. I was almost finished my shopping and had about $20 worth of items (Shoppers is my regular stop on Sundays). There was an announcement over the store speakers about a special promo they had just for today - spend $75 to receive 2 free Cineplex movie tickets and to ask an associate for details. I asked the cashier which types of items were excluded and then went off to get a shopping cart! In the end - I spent $90 instead of my original $20 and picked up great items on sale such as sunscreen on sale that is more expensive at Walmart right now. Didn't take long to find some needed household items and food products (all on sale for good prices too) and even found some new lipstick! Good marketing by Shoppers, I didn't know about the promotion until I heard the announcement!

Can't dial the Loomis number from my Roger's phone as it just disconnects so I can't speak to anyone about my orders. They're taking my money but not delivering the goods. Bring some work back to Canada so we can speak with someone local (in Canada). As of this point I have no number to speak with a Canadian Walmart representative of any type besides local store, which can't help with online orders. What a giant mess and just pushes me back to Amazon and other stores.
