My mom and I had a poor experience on 12/20. While the repair was done, the shop didn't accept credit cards due to a broken machine, requiring Cash or Zelle. Since the bank was closed, this was a major inconvenience. I found the owner, Christeen M., to be extremely unprofessional and rude when discussing the issue. A business shouldn't have long-standing issue of not having a functioning credit card machine. Thankfully, Jose was helpful, but I don't recommend this shop. I was going to bring my Infiniti here for repairs, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I was in a fender bender and trying to find a body shop which would work with my insurance. The shops recommended by my insurance company wouldn't tell me if they could even get the parts, let alone how long it would take. So, I went on a local search. I found LAX Body Shop on a Saturday and stopped in to see if they worked with insurance. The answer was immediately yes! Then, I asked if I could just get an estimate without dropping my car off for overnight. Yes again! AND.. he called a parts shop and secured the parts for my car that same day! I did a photo estimate with my insurance, then agreed to bring my car in on Monday for the estimate. They already had the parts ordered so I dropped the car off on Monday and they gave me a ride to work!! I can't say enough good things about this shop! The car would have been done in a week, but the insurance took longer to get the paperwork completed. The shop finished the work quickly, washed my car, and even polished up the other headlight cover!! The cost was exactly what the insurance approved- with the supplemental estimate from the shop- and the process was so smooth and everyone at the shop so friendly and helpful! I came in with a high performance truck and many questions about my vehicle and I was helped with everything! They knew exactly what to do and also helped me learn about my car and things I needed to know! I came in with a side mirror replacement needing to be done and after they finished it they repaired my broken sunroof as well on their own time! The kindness and dedication they showed to me won't be forgotten and I will continue to come back to them for any issues I have! Btw this was written almost 4 months ago and I have been there many times since. Sam is owner of the shop and Juan works at the front desk. They are both very kind and honest don't hesitate to ask any question you have! Since then I have been there for a full collision repair, I've had everything under the hood required completely, and completely new engine work! COLLISION REPAIR: Firstly I had completely replace my bumper after the accident and it looks better than before! Sam and his team were able to replace all the additional lights I had in the car so I got the exact same as before! ELECTRICAL FIX: My truck also was having electrical issues where one of my headlights wouldn't work all the time or my power step on the side of the truck wasn't coming down. It ended being due to how poorly the wiring system was put together in the car. Jose(one of the other great and kind mechanics) took out almost every single wire in the car and replaced them with newer and nicer wires and had them covered with a proper wire coat to extend their life! ADVANCED ENGINE WORK!: My most recent issue with the car was I had extensive damage to my Whipple Supercharger due to bad bearing on the transmission. This is a very complicated issue and super hard to diagnose and Sams team was able to find it right away without dragging me through unnecessary work. read more

I'm beyond frustrated with this shop. At the end of the day, I ended up going to an Acura dealership service center to redo and reinstall my car parts. I recently moved to the Hawthorne area and was looking for a new go to shop since my trusted shop is back in OC. I spent over $1k on my OEM spoiler bodykit (front, side, rear) for my 2015 Acura ILX and to get everything installed incorrectly was highly disappointing. I brought in my car in Sept. after getting a quote via Yelp. I emphasized and highlighted that they follow the installation manual multiple times, I had even printed a copy out for them, but it was obviously disregarded. I was hesitant at first bringing in my car, but they had reassured me stating they've done this before. I do not believe this at all. My main point of contact was Raul; nice guy, but likes to go off topic and ramble a lot, which doesn't help given the many issues I've had with them. I had gave them 2 tries to make things right and had given up at that point, but the owner Sam insisted I bring it in a 3rd time. He tried to play it down stating these were aftermarket parts and that they don't always fit perfectly, when these were in fact original Acura manufacturer car parts. They fixed the gap I had pointed out of the number of flaws I noticed, but it still didn't sit right with me. A few weeks later, I brought my car into an Acura dealership to inspect the work they did. They hoisted my car up and pointed out more faults that I couldn't see from the exterior. It seemed as if these guys had just tacked on the bodykit using random bolts and screws lying around their floor. I ended up having to pay for a new set of hardware to get everything redone. I wish this shop had turned me away from the start to avoid wasting all this time and money rather than promising me something they couldn't do. This shop may be good for touching up, but I can't recommend them after this unpleasant experience. Never again. read more

I scraped my brand new 2018 Mercedes e300 on Thursday, I was referred to sam by a friend. That same day Sam told me to come in to look at the car.
