My roommate at the time requested a different company a week later and the difference in professionalism was astounding! I requested junkluggers to arrive between 8:30am-10:30am on a Saturday. They called around 8am and said they would be here in 15min which I appreciated the notice. 2 men came in to look at my furniture. They showed me a list of prices and how much mine would be (it depends how much of your stuff fills the truck). They were super quick at moving everything. When it was time to pay, they mentioned I had submitted a coupon code (on website!) and included that discount on the bill. They told me where to sign (it gives you percentages for a tip, so you don't have to do the math). They thanked me and mentioned how easy my furniture was. They said it was a great way to start the day (so kind)! Now for an interesting comparison. My roommate went with a different company a week later. Their branding color is red. She scheduled the red company for 1-3pm on a Saturday. She gets a call from the red company and they ask if they can show up an hour early which she wasn't prepared for. I showed up later and missed the first part, but I heard everything that happened when it was time to pay! The red company asked her what she was paying with (card). Then the red company asked out loud if she was giving a tip. Then they asked her verbally how much. They said since she's giving them a tip, they'll give her a discount (?!). They pondered a few moments to figure out the new price. Then they asked her if she can pay the tip using Zelle Then the red company mentioned that they work with a cleaning service. She could get 33% off the cleaning service if she wants the business card I'm SO RELIEVED I went with Junkluggers. I ended up paying less than my roommate. Their protocol was professional and didn't make me feel uncomfortable or pressured. If you're in West LA, go with Junkluggers!
