Needed a few pieces of junk removed, including a gross garbage bin that had been accidentally sitting on the side of our house that was filled with moldy fruit and rainwater. I had a 6'x8' metal shed in the backyard that I needed to get removed. I called up Honest Abe, he asked some questions about the job, gave me an estimate over the phone and said he could do it today between 12 and 12:30. 30 MINUTE WINDOW, amazing. He and his partner show up at 12:15, head to the back and knock it out. I had some other bulky item and they took that away too. I thought the floor was concrete and told them to leave it but it turns it out was just plywood with some metal on it (I didn't really use this shed, it came with the house). They removed all that as well. Their fee was right aligned with their estimate. 5 stars for showing up when they said they would, charging what they said they would, doing the job they said they would. I found Abe's ad on Craigslist last night around 9:30 pm. Called him and he answered right away and gave me a quote to haul a very heavy couch and a queen mattress. I needed that stuff picked up ASAP since we already had it out for some people that night, but they ended up flaking. (Bastards) Anyway, he agreed to pick up the very next morning (today) at 10am. He and the lady with him were on time and friendly and hauled it all with no issues in less than 10 mins! I mean, the lady basically lifted that 100 lb couch by herself like it was nothing! This couch was huge, and foundation was made of solid wood not like the cheap particle boards found in most furniture now. I was just amazed at how quickly they got them all out!! Needed help removing a shed that the previous home owners built, bolted to brick along our back wall, and mounted to our brick floor as well. It was a truly ragged and rickety old thing and was never used, it sat for years collecting leaves, dirt, junk, and hosted a slew of paint and other industrial chemicals the old owners graciously left for us. I didn't know who to call for years, and several other junk/haul/removal folks refused to take paint/chemicals which was a deal breaker. Honest Abe was a no brainier, after the initial quote and discussion, I knew we found the right man for the job. He came throught the next day, dismantled and removed the shed in less than two hours, and he also helped fix our rot-iron gate in the back yard, that wouldn't easily shut without a wonky lever system I devised. He had all the tools and know how for any removal job, including a large truck for bigger jobs. He came with one other person to help, the team was quick, efficient, very professional, and an honest pleasure to work with. There's a reason this man's on Mt.
