Unfortunately there is a lot of turnover because the high quality stylists seem to not be recognized by the management and thus are not given any incentives to stay and build with the company. Substandard stylists are not corrected quickly, and the good stylists have to correct the substandard work of those that are still learning. I am a regular customer with a membership for nearly 3 years because of Britney and Cherish, who are great at eyelash extensions, but also because they care about their work and they take the time needed to help make you look your best. With the change in management, sales pressure became the priority, so the employees are pressured to go faster, sell and make money, rather than take the time to do a quality service. To do a quality service, an employee has to actually care about the work they are doing. Somebody needs to tell the new management that eyelashes are personal aesthetic services that require building and maintaining relationships with the clients, not pushing out an assembly line of quicker and faster 'slap on' lashes. Putting on eyelash extensions is personal, it is not like going to pick up a product at the local supermarket. The service given is only as good as its people. A week ago, I had the worst set of lashes I have ever received in this salon, due to not going to my regular stylist. The lashes were so sparse, so bad, and so expensive, I wondered if the new management was trying to kill this location. I returned back to my regular stylist, Britney, and she corrected the mistake. A new customer would not know that this is possible, that the quality of service available is due to finding the high quality people there. First, you have to find them so you can get a consistent, high quality set of lashes that look great and last longer than 3 -5 days. A poor stylist can ruin the reputation of the salon location, and clearly that is a big problem in their business model. What I would suggest is to stop pushing sales over quality service, and to reward the stylists that are really good, care about the clients, and who are building the main relationships for the salon. The pump and dump stylists not only suck, but they ruin the experience for the long term clients, because they are a waste of time and money for everyone involved. For those new to this location, you will get a high quality master stylist that will do a great job for you in Britney, Cherish and Ja'net. As far as I'm concerned if other stylists cannot meet a similar quality than these three stylists, they should be junior stylists offering a discount on the lashes. If this is not corrected the location will continue to suffer with a bad reputation - expensive and low quality service as a result of substandard stylists who are not experienced and just don't get it. Customers are smart and will figure this out eventually.

They quoted me initially during a consultation for 3 hours from 1-4pm. When I arrived for my appointment, my stylist took me 20min after my appointment time started as she was busy with another customer. We ended the appointment at 4:22 and I assumed it would still be 3 hours given the delayed start. The receptionist pulled the price up to have the stylist confirm. The stylist shrugged and said "we started a bit late but that's fine." Then I saw the price and they added a full hour to the total price. After tip, it was over $460. Given it was my first time I felt overwhelmed and didn't say anything and cause a scene. I regret not speaking up in the moment. (I normally go to Katy Heyings in Durham, but wasn't able to schedule with her before my flight out this Thursday. Highly recommend going to her if you're thinking about getting a lash lift and tint.) My appointment was at 10:30 AM, and for this service, I'm usually in and out within the hour. I, however, was here for 2 HOURS. The technicians were so focused on quantity and on bouncing between clients that the quality of service was nonexistent. My technician used so much perming and tinting solution during the lash lift and tint service that it began to sear my eyes and burn my eyelids. I asked if they had anything to flush my eyes with (which any qualified technician should have when using chemicals near the eyes), only to be given wet paper towels. I was genuinely surprised that this place hasn't been sued yet, if this is standard practice. Post service, my lashes are now extremely over-processed to the point where, every time I open my eyes, they get stuck in my eyelid crease, and my bottom lashes are fried and crimped every which way outside of a lovely curl. Don't get me started on how sore and raw my eyes are. I've included a picture showcasing the lashes and how irritated my eyes STILL are 2 hours after. You can look at other recent reviews specifically for this service and see individuals quoting the same issues. I've had this service done so many other times and have never had this issue. The high reviews are misleading and mainly focus on brow services; I should have been more cautious. Hopefully, this review can help keep someone else safe in the future. I let him know that I just wanted a clean up and to keep the thickness of my brows. He cleaned up my brows quickly and exactly like how I wanted them.
