The online booking process was super easy, and provided very detailed instructions of what to do once you arrive. The application took about 1.5 hours, and the environment in the studio is calm and relaxing (i almost fell asleep a few times, because I was so relaxed. haha). They have several after care products available in the studio, and you are sent home with detailed instructions on how to care for your lashes and make them last. My lashes look beautiful, and I'm very happy with the final results (I've already received so many compliments on my lashes, and I've only had them for one day)!

She comes out of her room and tells me to have a seat because she's still with a client. At 12:42pm, she and her client who is also Asian like herself, walk out laughing and chatting. I even comment on how her client's lashes were pretty but they were definitely not my style! Joyee takes me back and I feel as though she rushed through it. They looked OK and when she was finished, I decided to look in the mirror for a couple of minutes to see how I actually felt about them but guess what? She didn't even give me a chance! Once she saw me looking in the mirror, she immediately distracts me by saying "oh you left your phone on the bed, clumsy" which was very unprofessional. I didn't leave my phone, I knew exactly where it was. I was double checking to see if I even liked the lashes and I have a feeling that she knew it wasn't a good job which is why she tried to distract me with the phone comment. At that point, she hurries and gives me my phone and walks me to my car because I told her my puppy was out there and we discussed her taking a glance at him. By the time I drive off, I checked the time and it was precisely 2:01pm. (Just 1 minute over the scheduled time) So what was the rush for? I waited almost 15 minutes for her during my scheduled appointment time yet she rushes me?? The audacity. At any rate, I have photos included of what I wanted versus what I got so that you all can see the truth for yourselves! When I put on mascara it looks far better than what she did. The REAL reviews for this company are on other platforms like Groupon; you just have to research to find them. She blocks any 1 star reviews on Google so that she keeps getting new clients. Maybe you have to be Asian for her to do a good job here. But then again, the client who was before me didn't leave looking too great so eh who knows. If you want to be experimented on, this is the place to come to because Joyee is definitely still learning her way through this. She doesn't even list the fill in prices like ALL lash techs have on their website , instead she has "price will vary". Probably varying on the needs of her own bank account and how much she feels inclined to charge based on the day of the week. Strip lashes from the beauty supply store could easily supersede what she does here. Nothing but a waste of money!!!

Really love this place - This was my first time at Shezlash and I love my new lashes! My first impression of this place was clean, professional, and extremely nice. They made me feel so comfortable. It was my first time ever getting lashes done, and they were super helpful in guiding me to the right shape and fill. They have so many different options as to the style and personalized a style just for me. The process was smooth but not at all rushed. They asked important questions that I never thought of (e.g. how many coats of mascara), and so I was able to get the look that I wanted even though I was completely unfamiliar. The process was relaxing and comfortable. I think I even fell asleep for a little. Marie was so gentle and so soft, I had no irritations. Lastly, the outcome of the process was none other than perfection! I really loved the look. I would highly recommend this place for those who want to get their lashes done! I have been to iBeauty Studio for my lashes before and decided to give microblading a try. First I must say that the shop is always very clean and inviting. The staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile. I was very nervous since this is my first time trying permanent makeup. Marie was extremely comforting and took great care of me. She was able to study my facial features to ensure I received the perfect shape and color. The process was very easy and I did not feel a thing while she was tattooing. Marie stopped multiple times during my session showing me the process to ensure I was getting the look I wanted. My final product is absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. Marie has transformed my face by giving my brows are darker look without being to dramatic. I am now able to wake up in the mornings with little to no time needed for makeup. What a great experience. Love my lashes!!!! Not having to do makeup and seeing how my eyes are beautifully accented. Love it. When doing microblading, I was very nervous but the whole staff was so sweet, reassuring me that I would feel no pain, covered me with blanket and promised no pain. After the painless procedure it was amazing how much I looked younger, brows were gorgeous. I now get multiple compliments on my lashes as well as eyebrows. I recently got permanent makeup on my eyebrows and eyeliner. They were extremely gentle with me and paid attention to everything I had asked them. They checked with me multiple times during our session to ensure I was getting the look I wanted. I absolutely love the end result. Like most of us, we haven't had our faces altered with a sterile scalpel and ink, so the process can be disconcerting to say the least. This is not a thing to have done using a Groupon. Don't skimp. I only went to Henrietta because my friend recommended her and I had NEVER seen eyebrow microblading turn out so well. No Joke. Customer Service: A++ Henrietta is committed to communicating with her clients AND prospective clients promptly, with grace and attentiveness. This is her side-job and passion. Her life goal is to "make women feel and look their best". This shines through in her whole practice. Office Atmosphere: A++ When you walk in, its small and intimate. There is cool-vibe music playing and aromatherapy oils diffusing. Microblading Studio Cleanliness: A+++ I cant even express how clean and sterile Henrietta's studio is. You look around and its immaculate. Its set up like a surgical room (with an aesthetic and warm/comforting touch). Personality: I cant even rate this - off the charts. The aforementioned passion shines through, starting with Henrietta's personality. She is a compassionate woman, and wants to make sure that her clients feel taken care of. She's down-to-earth and relatable. The Microblading process: A+++ Henrietta explained everything that she was going to do. She would map out my face (with her protractor), making sure that everything was completely symmetrical. She measured and measured and plotted the lines. And made sure what she was doing was within her app guidelines (as an extra measure). Went back and plotted again with such precision. Measured again. Made sure that it mapped correctly again. Then showed me what my new brow outline would look like - always letting me hold the mirror so I could see. I was amazed - could my brows really have this shape?? This shape looks amazing, I'm thinking. Once its all mapped out, she numbs the area with a topical ointment and then she gets to work. The initial mapping took about 45 mins (Henrietta is very meticulous). The microblading took a while - about 2 hours. She does one and then keeps refining. Back and forth. "Oh, I just need to do two more strokes right here, and then I'll be happy". "Oh, just one more here, and I'll be happy". She is VERY personally invested in her clients. She knows her clients' satisfaction is her self-satisfaction. After leaving her studio: I was dumbfounded. I couldn't believe that for the past 10 years I had been filling in my "okay" brows in with idk how many brow pencils, but most recently the Benefit "Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra-Fine Shape & Define" (which is my fave, but looks SOO FAKE!!). I cant tell you how much $$ I've spent on brow pencils, shadows, etc to try to make my brows frame my face. I went home and was scared to look at them. But now, each time I do, its scary how good it looks. And to think that they only look awesome due to a beautiful woman, with a genuine purpose and a steady hand with a blade and ink - making tiny hair strokes above my eyes.

I outlined my questions clearly and requested that communication remain in writing so there would be no misunderstandings. As shown in the screenshots, rather than addressing the pricing discrepancy or concerns in writing, I was told to "move forward with my next steps" because I was not willing to switch to a phone call. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and professionally before sharing this review. My request was simply for written clarification regarding a financial and service concern. I'm sharing this experience for transparency so others can make informed decisions. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not personally recommend her to anyone. What makes a good business absolutely depends on how they handle any arising issues and how they communicate. See for yourself how she handled this and be the judge. 0/10 very disappointed to be honest, I had hoped she'd remain a good person and help me out. :/ I will add that I am in the process of now filing with the NC Board of CAE & NC Health Dept. due to the negligence.

I've been told my options are to wait it out and live with a messed up job, or let it close up and have it redone. Its upsetting to have a hack job done on your body. I felt so incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The studio is fun, vibrant, and fun. I felt incredibly relaxed. Bre was AMAZING. We talked about our travels, mostly, which is a favorite topic of mine. She was informative about everything, guided me along the way, gave me a bathroom break, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the 3.5 hours I was there. Numbing cream definitely helped because there were some areas that I was feeling some scratching but it didn't bother me any (honestly, it's an adrenaline rush if anything). The eyeliner was a weird feeling at first but after a few minutes, I was comfortable and my eyes relaxed. Honestly, I expected worse. This was easy! I've been waking up every morning with a huge boost of confidence without even doing my makeup! I go in for an included touch-up next month and I even booked a lash lift and tint for March! I came in for an eyebrow threading and tint, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The threading was quick, precise, and surprisingly comfortable -- my brows have never looked more symmetrical and cleaner. The tint was a perfect shade (thanks for your consultation) and gave my brows a beautiful, full look without being too dark. I left feeling confident and refreshed -- I've already gotten so many compliments on my brows! Highly recommend Eyebrow Threading & Spa. if you're looking for perfect brows and a little pampering.
