LAX Physical Medicine has saved my back. This place was referred to me by a co worker that heard I was having lower back problems, I was open to a referral and especially after hearing that he has been coming here for many years. I was told to ask for Michael since that was the doctor he had always been helped by but said both doctors/brothers were amazing. Quick back story I injured my lower back a few years back running marathons and fast forward years later I was working out and my lower back went out on me along with lower back pain. I was literally out for a full week on my hands and knees crawling because the pain was so unbearable so I finally made the call to come in. Doctor: Michael has been such a great asset to my recovery and getting my lower back back to normal. It's been a process but he has been with me from day one and is always checking on me to make sure I'm getting better and that I'm happy with everything. It's good doctors/people like him that are hard to come around. Front Staff: The girls at the front are simply amazing! I called an advance to see if they would take my health insurance and they were so friendly and helpful, They verified all my information and scheduled my appointment. I've been a patient about a month now and they have been such a pleasure and making the process so easy and stress free. One thing I can appreciate is that they call you a day before all your appointments to remind you, so if you're a hott mess like me a reminder is very important lol. Back Staff / Physical Therapy: Amazing! The staff in the back are all guys and they are just great, they are all very down to earth and great workers. At first I was able to just see/hear the interaction with all the other patients and they just seemed to get along with everyone and once I started PT I understood why. They all work very well together and make sure everyone is being taken care of. Location: The office is literally by LAX airport which is why I'm assuming they call it LAX Physical Medicine lol. It is located right off a really busy street and they have free parking out front or just up the street. I do see a parking lot in the back of the building but I'm not sure if you have to pay or not since I never use it. They were willing to work with my concerns about having to pay my somewhat high co-pay two days in a row (since he asked me to come back for a follow-up), and both guys were very nice. I would not recommend. Be very very careful about your bill. Please write your dates down when you go in for treatment, and keep a log of the dates that you go in for yourself so that when you settle your claim or when you pay your bill you will have your dates that you were treated. Thats what we did we wrote our dates down because our bill does not reflect the dates that we went for services. Also do not give permission to cash any checks from your insurance company before your case is settled they will try to charge you more money. Also make sure you sign in each time even if they tell you you don't have to. We did!! They were basic no special treatments even When and if you complained. I'm a flight attendant and I got referred to LAX Chiropractic Center from a few flight crew members. I've been having issues with a sore muscle in my back for a few weeks now. I left an after hours voice message requesting a morning appointment since I was only in town for half the day. I received a call back first thing in the morning and was able to see Dr. Michael at 10 am. I wanted to set up a massage appointment but since I'm a new patient I needed to see one of the Docs before being able to set up a massage appointment. Once I arrived they were very friendly and helpful. They showed me around the office before taking me into my room. Dr. Michael has great bedside manners and I was able to receive an electro heat muscle treatment and a realignment during this appointment. It felt amazing! They also took me over to their gym and rehab room and showed me a few stretch moves using the foam roller to use while I'm working out since I believe I got this pain from working out. This is a clean, nice, friendly location and have already set up 2 future massage appointments. They take most insurances including Blue Cross Blue Shield. Call ahead for an appointment but they can accommodate last minute appointment request. read more

Acupuncture - got some serious bruising on my stomach after 2 sessions, Checked with books and 2 other specialists. this is uncommon to say the least. photos can be provided. Points used are very unconventional and deviate from Chinese school of medicine as well as guides on acupuncture, and also didn't result in any progress after 3 sessions except from 4 large blue bruises on my tummy. Can't quite tell about the Medicinal Massage. My one schedule appointment the therapist had a legitimate family emergency and didn't make it to. Cons - Front office staff (although really attractive) can get easily distracted and not acknowledge you (talk about feeling invisible) and more importantly, you really get no medical service from the doctors. You are lucky to have a room available for an adjustment unless you are a woman (especially a pretty one) and these doctors will make sure to cater to you. I am truly sorry to have to leave this negative review. I used to come to this facility about 5 years ago on a regular basis. I loved the welcome feeling that I was presented with. Both the twins (Doctors), I felt were great. Well, recently I was involved in an automobile accident (hit by a semi) and after 3 weeks of pain medicine and muscle relaxers. I was released by my doctor to seek out physical therapy and chiropractic care. My doctor asked me if she would like to select a chiropractor for me. I told her definitely not. I know just who to see. So I contacted the LAX Chiropractic Center. Yes, they remembered me. However, beings that this was gonna be a 3rd party claim (my health insurance not paying for it, but the semi's insurance whom had already accepted 100% liability), I would need to give them my credit card. So that, just in case it's not all settled and paid for within 2 to 3 months. They were gonna charge my credit card for all services. Umm, 2 to 3 months. I'm looking at a minimum of 6 to 9 months of treatment. However, if I were to go through an attorney (of which I was told that they have a list of attorney's available). They would then be able to take me in for services. Ironic because, going through an attorney does NOT get them paid within 2 to 3 months either. Anyhow, I'm not impressed at all with the lack of concern, care or consideration given to a prior patient in good standing with them. Shame on them. I was just accepted to another very reputable and suggested Doctor, who is more concerned with relieving me of my pain. And willing to take that chance on receiving her payment for services from the 3rd party after 2 to 3 months if need be. read more

So I've been going here for several months now, I've gotten into a horrible car crash at the end of May where my car was totaled and X-rays show my neckbone is completely screwed up and going the opposite way it should be, so I'm here. The staff members are super friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. My favorite is Rosemary :) She's so sweet, remembers little things about me and asks how i'm doing! Michael and Matthew are also both great, they're identical twin brothers! I usually get treatment from Matthew, who's funny and REALLY good at adjustments. The best in the universe! (he makes me say haha) anywho, clean professional atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, amazing chiropractors, what more could you want? Oh I did take off one star though because I felt like they were getting a bit unattentive compared to before. I was seeking a new chiropractor since the previous physician was not able to remedy my back pain for almost 10 months. This injury caused tingling in legs and feet. The wait time was short and they had state of the art equipment which aided me in feeling better and also helped me to progress almost to my normal state. Dr. Naghmeh Kerendian made a very positive impression with me. She was able to get a definitive diagnosis regarding my nerves, muscles, and tissue profile that day. Her bedside manner was warm, caring and concerned. I felt that I was in good hands and trusted her medical findings. After the 1 hour testing, I was glad to find out there was no nerve damage or residual effects from the injury. I can't say enough, how much these guys really care about you. My whole family comes to the Twins (Michael and Mathew). We have been seeing them for YEARS! They assisted in finding a resolution for my moms pain and referred her to their doc to get a colonoscopy... turns out she had stage 3 colon cancer. She is now cancer free. I can honestly say, it was due to them helping her find some sort of resolution from the pain she was experiencing. The girls at the front desk are all so friendly. I have been in a car accident and so has my boyfriend. We both saw them for treatment immediately... We have had no issues thus far. I am a flight attendant and I had been to LAX Chiropractic Center for over a year for acupuncture with Dr. Kim and had amazing results with Tendonitis and Carpal Tunnel issues. Out of nowhere, my hands and fingers were numb and tingling and I had severe neck, lower back, and actually all over pain. I felt like I was 90 years old. I could barely get out of bed. The doctors at LAX Chiropractic Center sent me to get an MRI. They started me on decompression on my neck due to bulging discs. I have had many sessions now and can honestly say I feel 75% better!!! The numbness and tingling are intermittent and the pain is going away.
