So Tuesday morning I call back to follow up (because I'm in an excruciating amount of pain!) and this time the woman who answers the phone tells me in an annoyed tone "the nurse isn't in yet, she'll call you when she gets in." I ask when that will be and she tells me 11am. I ask if that's when I should expect a call and she just repeats the first thing she said to me again in a very snobby/annoyed tone.
