Belly dancing was fun and the hookah was good. My 45 night turned into 90! This is a BYOB all in all I would not by food here. Ascetic was very bland and the place looked better in the dark.

Nice place, food was delicious, big portions and hookah was great! We went at 4:30pm so it was pretty empty and quiet. They gave use a blue took speaker and let us put our own music on! We were in the outdoor area. Only annoying thing was that there are barely anyone working, so getting the check took forever, which kinda annoyed me.

After a night out of drinking, I hit the hookah bar with Lecille D. and Beatrice C. Layalina was once the location of Al Jannah, one of my previous favorite hookah bars due to the cute sister duo serving as the waitstaff. Layalina has renovated since they took over the space. The lighting is colorful and the atmosphere is generally more lounge like. We ordered a bit of baklava and a pot of tea to share. The tea was surprisingly good, but the baklava was a bit too wet for my tastes. The most important part of the experience was the hookah of course. They use grapefruit bowls and coco nara coals, the industry standard. My hookah had too much water in the vase. I knew because i have the same hookah at home and because water was getting the hose as i pulled. I tolerated it for a little while, not wanting to be a pain, but I eventually told the guy who brought the hookah that there was too much water in the vase. He took the hookah, checked for himself (as if i could be wrong when it comes to hookah), blew the excess water out of the hose, and took the hookah to remove some water from the vase. The flavor and smoke did last pretty long though. And the service during my second visit was outstanding. Prices were average for the area, they include an 18% gratuity to your bill by default.

Excellent eating experience.. excellent hookah ... from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes. Meal was served hot and excellent taste so delicious, we order lamb chops with rice and it was very delicious and the appetizers like hummus, tabouleh, grape leaves and shanklish is amazing. Server was very friendly and helpful specially Abdullah. The owner San he's such an amazing person, he's very friendly and understanding and very helpful. He's really such an awesome example of successful business owner. Good job guys you deserve it and wish that you will open thousands of branch for Layalina all over US.

Their chicken kebab is beyond tender and flavorful! This has now become my new favorite spot for Lebanese food. Just a bit upsetting they do charge extra to replace the rice for salad. i would also say to add a little bit less dressing to the salad as it was a bit overdressed! Overall i would definitely recommend this place!! Their pita bread and hummus is delicious as well!!

Outdoor seating with some great Hookah done by Ramsis himself - Sam the owner is super pleasant, polite & very friendly. The entire staff is friendly, hospitable & accommodating. I recommend giving them a try.

I remember a time where I used to come here weekly. Due to COVID-19, I've only been here twice in the last 6 months. The owner (Sam) is very accommodating. There are times where I've come when it was packed and he carves out a spot for my friends and I. My order is generally the same--fries and hookah. The flavor of hookah I get depends on whatever Ramses (hookah guy) recommends for me. As far as the food goes, I've only ever eaten the Shish Tawook (Chicken Shish) wrap and for the price/taste you can't beat it! Overall chill spot. Beware though, they do have minimum charges per person and BYOB charges on certain days.

Lemonade with mint! The best!

Great restaurant with amazing food and beverages. It's a BYOB place so that's always great. Lemonade with mint are the best! Inside the restaurant is spacious and beautiful, while the outside back patio is even more great. I always loved coming to Layalina's but lately the hookahs and way too rough, and prices are different all the time!!!!!!!! Walked out of there with a bill that made no sense when usually it would always be great. I guess the hot weather has been getting to them.

Red wine and Layalina Hookah . The night I fell in love with Arabic Salad .

I went last night after a concert at the MetLife stadium near by. Once we were seated they brought out plates for the table and every one of the four plates given to us had charcoal dust on them, which isn't alarming at an establishment that serves hookah. We asked the waitress LAMIA if she can change the plates, Immediately she caught an attitude. She was adamant they weren't dirty but went to get us new plates as requested. The great thing about outside seating at this establishment is that the windows are wide open so you can see inside. We watched as LAMIA walked over to her coworkers to complain, stomp her foot and have an attitude driven tantrum while she filled them in on our request for new plates. For the rest of dinner we were greeted with the rudest attitude and treatment of distain from this server. She didn't want to speak with us. She didn't want to serve us. Thank you for runing our night LAMIA. She even brought the check over while we were mid eating our dinner, put it on the table and walked away without a word. Rushing us out without even acknowledgement. Paying $200 for a meal with that sort of treatment makes for an interesting end to our evening. We were raised with manners so we continued to be polite and thank her each time she dropped off an item. Makes me question if our food was tampered with because we even found a piece of hair in our meal. We all have long jet black hair down our backs so this hair definitely was not ours. But didn't feel comfortable to speak up due to the treatment we were already receiving. The service industry is for those who enjoy curating a space of fun and enjoyment for consumers. I would think twice about going to this establishment if you're looking for a good time.

First off, we couldn't even find the place. When we finally did, the front was completely blacked out and the security guard had on a bulletproof vest... sketchy. But we went in anyway. The first floor had a weird smell, so we went upstairs. The vibe was better up there, and the host was really nice. The decor was totally on theme, very Cowboy Carter. The brunch menu looked decent, but weirdly we couldn't order any appetizers just the brunch entrees. Kinda annoying, but whatever. We got the shrimp and grits, and the chicken and waffles (served on a skewer). Oh and we had to pay right when we ordered. Like... why? That was definitely a red flag. But surprisingly, the food was actually so good. As for drinks, I got something with rum and it was solid. My partner ordered the $30 mimosa pitcher, and it was mostly juice way too sweet. Definitely not worth it. The food is 11/10, but not my everyday go to spot!!! Try it out and let me know your thoughts
