This is a nice thrift store with a wide selection of items…read more First of all, there is a parking lot for your car. Most stores do have parking lots, but some don't. When I thrift, I usually buy cds and dvds. Prices for those are $1.00, which is really fair. Old record albums are also $1.00, which is good for record collectors since records are becoming more popular again. On Fridays, the books are all half price, but they are very inexpensive anyway. Regular book prices are 75 cents for hardcover, and 50 cents for paperbacks and children's books. Clothing is half off every Saturday. There are fitting rooms to try on clothing. I believe the orange circle on a piece of clothing means that it is the lowest price to pay. They have the other usual thrift store items: shoes, dishes, sheets, towels, hardware, jewelry, figurines, prints and paintings, suitcases, and children's toys. They had a variety of video games in a glass counter in the middle of the store. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy going there to shop, and I recommend the store to others.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, there were several young teen men in there working and helping, it was refreshing to see kids working hard for charity. They said they give 100% profit to their community which houses low income and I saw many senior citizens. I will say that some of the items were a tad pricey and I opted not to purchase them, but also knowing that 100% profit is truly helping other people made my purchase a happier one. Located in Largo, not too far from Indian Rocks Beach, this little gift shop is packed with unique home decor items, vintage and primitive pieces, jewelry, candles, and more. I like that the owner is helpful and pleasant, but doesn't apply the hard sell which makes browsing a pleasure. Shop here any time of course, but if you ask me, it's uncommon to find something like Country Porch in this particular part of town, so I'd suggest planning a special stop as part of a girl's day - it's the perfect place to stop before or after having coffee, lunch or a mani/pedi with sisters or friends. This little shop is tucked away next to a couple other small places and it can be a little…read moredifficult to spot it if you're driving along. I decided to pop in on a whim today. The woman who owns the shop is wonderful. She's clearly very particular about what she carries - everything is either organic, eco-friendly, or sourced from independent designers (she said she carries pieces from approximately 12 Etsy vendors). Pretty much every piece of clothing was soft to the touch and there was a decent assortment of colors, textures, and garments. The only downside is it felt like she was really limited in terms of multiple sizes in some of her garments. I know indie shops like this can't carry everything and will obviously run out of certain sizes or colors first, but anyway. The other thing she carries a lot of is vintage costume jewelry. I pawed through her cases (and there are many!) and lusted over a few different things. And just for a heads up, almost everything I picked up in terms of jewelry was $50 or above. It seemed like Brooches started around that price point and necklaces started around $100 for the most part. Granted I'm sure there are pieces cheaper than that, but it would have taken hours to manhandle everything she has. This isn't a discount kind of a place; it's obvious she takes a lot of care in collecting pieces that don't have missing stones or damaged hardware, and aren't some corny theme (like some of the antique shops in the area with Christmas or 4th of July things that will never sell). She also has a pretty solid assortment of vintage purses and leather pocket belts (those have a bit of a Burning Man feel to them, if you know what I mean). So, if you're not going to balk at the price of organic and independently made clothing and accessories, it's definitely worth checking this little shop out. If you have really nice vintage jewelry you're looking to get rid of, I'm sure she would be interested in taking a look at it based on some of the comments she made.

One thing to note first is that their location is no longer where Yelp has it, but at a new spot. I was lucky enough to meet the owner when I went in and they were kind enough to let me own cabinets for jewelry and even look at the processing racks of clothes. I was able to find a nice ring, a slip for under a dress, and a nice anthropology dress for a $30! The shop is quite small, but there are tons of vintage clothes, as well as name brands to look through! Everything seemed to be of high value and the owner was super helpful. I can't wait to come back again and check out what is new!

There are lots of dresses from the 80's and some nice stuff from the 50's, 60's & 70's. I picked up a couple of cool little rings and vintage nightgown. They were also having a sidewalk sale when I visited. Everything outside was$1!! So o picked up a sweet little t- shirt, and my husband picked up a nice pair of shorts. If you're in the area or looking for the French Nest, you should stop in!
