Rates have been set to be affordable for many people with no insurance or high insurance co-payments. Rates are: $25 for 45 min treatment, $40 for the first session (Evaluation and treatment-- up to 75 min). Hours can be extended to accommodate your schedule. The owner, Ken D'Antonio, in addition to being a licensed physical therapist, is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. All physical therapy is provided by the owner. The one patient in the clinic receives full attention. One of the helpful techniques practiced at Saint Francis Physical Therapy is Fascial Manipulation®. Fascial manipulation®, is a technique developed by Italian physical therapist, Luigi Stecco, that reduces pain and stiffness by attempting to restore a fascial layer called loose connective tissue to a more fluid state. It is a hands on treatment involving deep oscillating pressure over specific areas. Fascial manipulation can treat body regions from head to foot. In a research trial published in Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapy (January 2019), a group of low back pain patients receiving fascial manipulation® plus standard physical therapy treatment had almost three times the improvement in pain rating versus a group receiving standard physical therapy treatment alone.
