Well, they sure live up to their name. They focus on surface, not so much on the customer.
Yeah they offer milkshakes, have cool canvas aprons and they spray your hair with repurposed Jack Daniel's bottles. But that doesn't make you a good barber or hairdresser.
I've tried this place twice. Not impressed.
First time: I call and book a haircut, I come in and they start cutting my hair. After a while I ask if they're gonna wash my hair and they say they don't do that unless you ask for it. I'm almost 40 years old so I've had my hair cut maybe 250 times and I've never visited a hairdresser who doesn't wash the hair - it's just part of the concept of having your hair cut.
Second time: I call and book a haircut with hair wash, I come in and they start cutting my hair. After a while I ask if they're not gonna wash my hair and they say they didn't know I wanted that even though I specifically asked for it when I booked the haircut. So you have to specifically ask to have your hair washed after you've come to the place or else they don't care to do it.
