I came here craving some dessert coffee, specifically something other than the bland and nasty Sheetz coffee that I'd become accustomed to. The positive reviews also drew me to this place and to venture a tad further out of my way off route 80 to come here. I reviewed the choices and saw the Almond Joy Latte which looked interesting. My experience with flavored lattes is that they are usually overly sweet. So I requested that mine be made less sweet. I guess-timated half the sweetener and told my server. I must say it was pretty decent. Not the greatest flavor in the world (I've had some pretty incredible lattes before), but it certainly sufficed. The whipped cream also added a further touch of sweetness to it. All in all I liked my latte and could see myself coming back if I'm returning from NYC. read more

Ran in this cafe to grab a hot mocha latte during a chilly day. The inside of the cafe looked run down and dirty. Although I was one of the few customers inside the store, the drink took a long time to make and left it out on the counter without calling that they were ready. Stopped in today to get a coffee for the first time. I walked in with a friend to get a medium cappuccino & a medium almond joy. We walked over to wait for our drinks and I was given a small cappuccino which is called a tall here. I explained to the barista that I ordered a medium not a small. She deliberately ignored me, with no type of acknowledgement or response. I said again "Helloooo are you going to just ignore me as if i didn't say anything?" She looked at me and said that's a tall then ignored me. I went back to the counter and the cashier changed it to a medium because the error was on their end. While I waited for the new cappuccino, the barista, started speaking spanish complaining that it's a small whatever, not knowing that we speak spanish. The second I spoke in spanish and stated you have no right to be disrespectful nor ignore a customer that is polite, she got nervous. This place is definitely not worth the money nor time. It's an OK cafe with some bad things. Woman in front was not super nice either. She kept on telling a guy who walked in not to take photos (which is odd for a coffee shop) as he wanted to show a menu to his wife. Anyway had these things for 16 dollars or so with one other. We went here with a gify card which makes the experience a bit more pleasant. Rasberry-green tea smoothie: Very watery with no taste of green tea. Like 3.50 or so for the small, not good. .5 Small iced coffee: OK, I've tried better and worse. The coffee wasn't super strong and a bit watery (little bit of a pattern.) 2.0 Mini Cherry pie: OK flavors, nothing super extraordinary but nothing bad. 2,5 Tomato/rice soup (daily special:) 5 dollars for a container of soup. We popped in to check this place out on a whim. We were looking for a light breakfast and some good coffee. This is really a place for coffee, frappes, and any other boujee drink you can imagine- I'd recommend giving those a whirl. Otherwise, 'Cafe' is a bit of a deceiving title from a foodie perspective. They serve omelettes but it's your cafeteria style clear bins of random chopped veggies, zero meat options, and some cheeses. You select 3 veggies and are up charged for cheese. While they were slightly boring, they were cooked well, and I liked that they came with a small scoop of cucumber salad (but many would be disappointed they didn't include your regular hash browns, or potatoes). They also served it with a really weird floppy/mushy warmed piece of white bread with butter (toast?). Not sure what that was about... The kicker for my 2 star on this review is our total. We ordered 2 (veggie) omelettes and 2 regular coffees (1 iced and 1 hot) and our total came to over $30. A no table service local coffee bar with half-effort omelettes shouldn't sit in this bracket. I say this a little biased knowing that Golden Grill serves grungy, down-home, massive, delicious breakfasts incl. coffee for under $10 a person across the street. Lazy Bean Cafe would likely have better luck if they stuck to their niche of drinks and maybe included a few small bites/pastries (like a starbucks). The Lazy Bean is a great place to just kind of sit around for an hour or so surfing the internet while sipping your coffee. It really is an awesome little local coffee shop. On top of that, everything they have is kosher. What more could you really ask for? Most of the mixed drinks I have tried are really good (could use a bit of alcohol though), but the probably is none are really healthy (as you would expect). Over all the place, is great, I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that I am freezing right now as I type this. read more

I love the new ownership. But the coffee still tastes like starbucks(AKA not so good) That is, unless you get the extremely expensive foreign brand you carry or 'don't have today' (what was up with that?) I happened to stop by as the signage to this coffee shop was visible on the Main Street. It's a normal coffee shop with place to catch up. The prices are on a higher side considering the decor of the place. The chocolate muffin I had was uncooked from inside. I was hungry so I ate it, but would have surely returned it. Coffee was a kind of Starbucks in a different cup. I was hoping was a better taste. Also the placed could have been a bit more clean and properly lit. I'll give a 2.5 out of 5 for this place. The food here is just fantastic. All of the drinks are also pretty great. My personal favorites are the strawberry shortcake shake, and the caramel heath shake. All of the panini sandwiches are also wonderful. I could eat the portobello sandwich any day, any time. The tuna sandwiches and wraps also amazing. They recently started carrying the impossible burger, which is just wonderful. It's the closest thing to eating meat without actually eating meat. It really is the best veggie burger I've ever eaten, and it really feels like it's too good to be true. The staff is surgical in their speed and service. Highly recommend read more

When I read from the other reviews that this place had a clover, I made a special trip here from Fort Lee to hang out the whole morning, drink coffee made in a clover, and study. This place most definitely doesn't have a clover. The folks working here had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them, and the coffee I ordered came from a thermos. Maybe things changed after ownership? Even though I ordered a regular plain drip coffee, it has some sort of flavor in it, like what you'd get at a gas station. Cute little spot, and I see a lot of senior citizens there. Maybe a nice place to sit with your mom, but not a place for great coffee. read more

Kosher coffee shop=expensive. Met elderly relatives for breakfast, place is very noisy and a bit crowded. Acoustics are terrible for conversation. For the prices it would be nice to have real cups and plates? Coffee OK, pastries on the heavy side and overpriced. Panini's are delicious! read more

If you haven't tried coffee from a Clover, and you are a coffee lover, its something that you must try. They also serve great pastries and sandwiches for lunch and breakfast. read more

Decent place , I get muffins and hot chocolate here . They service pretty quickly but on more than one occasion I found hair in my food . I can recall another occasion when another customer walked up to the counter and there was hair in her food. It sucks but, I wish they'd wear hairnets . Hands down the worst cup of coffee I've had. This includes surviving on hospital cafeteria coffee for quite a while. Got frozen lemonades for the kids that were okay. Nothing to justify the ridiculously high price but not as offensive as what they are passing off as coffee. Can't comment on the food. Tried to be a regular for lunch; All I want is a salad. Ran out of cucumber or tomato several times a week. The wait to get more FORTY MINUTES! This is a restaurant that's part of a supermarket. How could it take 40 minutes to walk 35', grab a cucumber and cut it up. Reach in by (gloved" hand to get each of the salad items. Constant cross-contamination between items. This is a limited review since all I have had here is coffee and a multi grain bagel. The plain coffee is excellent and all I added was milk. The bagel was OK however when I asked for butter they gave me two frozen packages which of course had no chance of spreading. read more

I LOVE LAZY BEAN. The service is really good and u get free wifi. I was never really a mozzerella wrap guy but they really get it right over there. This is a nice coffee place with great scones. Although when i ordered a latte yesterday the waiter stopped making my coffee to go in the bathroom to replenish toilet paper. Those were reasonably priced, but the pastries are way overpriced. $5.35 for a single cupcake. Also the people that work behind the counter are a little rude... Good food, terrible costumer service. I Ordered a drink, they made it wrong so I asked for a new one. They argued that since someone sipped it (which I did then realized it was the wrong drink) they can't take it back because then one of the workers now couldn't drink it!
