Kudo Society was another nice visit. I'm glad, that they have plenty of room for patrons to relax, work on their laptops, and/or enjoy their purchase. Aside from a large menu of beverages, Kudo also sells sweets and pastries. The service is always friendly, quick, and items are well presented. Oh, I almost forgot....Kudo has a prime location, on the corner, at the busy intersection of Queen Ann Road and DeGraw Avenue. It will always be a return visit establishment and recommended.

Kudo Society is the kind of cafe everyone wants in their neighborhood. It's the perfect spot for lots of things - meeting up with a friend, getting work done, or grabbing a light bite or drink (or, as was my case, all three). This might sound strange since this is a cafe, but I tend to skip the drink menu and go straight to their sandwiches. In the past, I've had some minor qualms with bubble teas I've ordered, but the sandwiches are always a hit. With beautifully toasted bread, melty cheese, and fresh ingredients, they're like picture-perfect paninis. I've had both the caprese and the chicken sandwich and loved both of them. Over the last few months, they've added a few new things. Their ramen bar is the latest of these fun changes, with an entire wall full of instant noodles, cooking machines to easily make them, and even a few (paid) toppings to jazz up your meal. The pricing for some of these toppings seemed unreasonably high, but it's nice to know there are options. There's a tiny parking lot next to the cafe for pick up customers, and a larger (free) municipal lot right across the street.

Awesome place for breakfast lunch or dinner there's so many options on the menu. My husband loved the make your own Ramen station. It was awesome. I had a breakfast burrito with a fruit smoothie. The portions were large so I was able to take home my leftovers and have it later on at home. Husband had one of their specialty coffees. The service was amazing and the decor was adorable. Part of it was bright and vibrant with cozy corners to sit, and there was another area that was more aesthetically, pleasing and very calming with soft music playing in the background. I met the owners and they were extremely friendly. This is on a busy intersection, of Queen Anne Road and DeGraw Avenue in Teaneck, so it is extremely convenient. You can either park right on the street or use the free municipal lot across the street.

Overall, I'm impressed with their boba tea but the visit wasn't as smooth as it should have been and we really needed to work for a decent experience. First, they remind me of another similar tea shop, although that other shop had a stronger focus on tea, that brings me lots of good memories. It's the kind of cozy, comfy place to lounge and hang, or study apparently, based on the number of people with their laptops open. We picked our tea leaves and brought them to the counter, and asked for a large bubble tea with half sweetness. Apparently it wasn't easy to get this across to the lady helping us, and at one point she charged us almost $30 and we avoided paying that by pointing her in the right direction. $15 was still not exactly cheap for two boba tea, but it's rare that we get to try a real tea shop with a fresh brew, so we went along. Once we picked up our orders though, two things stood out: there was a sizable tea bag in the cup which was so big I initially thought it was a mass of ice, and we got little more than one line of boba. Then, after the first couple of sips, we realised that the two teas tasted oddly similar. In fact, I couldn't tell them apart upon an impromptu blind taste test. We prioritised and decided to have the boba skimp addressed. Long story short, we ended up with extra boba without extra charge - kudos to Kudo. I've gotta say that their tea, whatever the actual identity, was one of the best we've had in recent memory, so we wouldn't hesitate to go back, perhaps to try their other location. I hope they keep improving. Well done.

Very calm ambience, and vibing music. Food prices are particularly very expensive for a one person portion. I ordered a kimchi burrito from the breakfast category. Flavor was a little bland on the burrito. It cost around $19 with tax, which is New York pricing. This place is more affordable for coffee, tea, pastries and desserts with a good variety. Service is order by counter and free roam to sit wherever you want. The employees were great, chill and friendly vibes. This place is definitely spot on for studying, having a coffee with a friend, or a quick dessert grab and go. One of the unique things that stands out is the tea cabinet they have. And if you're a big tea connoisseur. I'd give this spot a 7.7/10

This is one of my favorite work/study spots! It's a cozy cafe that offers a huge selection of drinks and pastries, along with food options with a Korean influence. Their food menu includes breakfast and lunch/light dinner (rice bowls, wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas, salads, croissants). My recommendations: - the sea salt iced coffee w/ whipped cream - The perfect combo of salty and sweet. - kudossant - This is a croissant waffle. It's fluffy and chewy, almost like mochi. You can add toppings to it. I recommend honey and roasted almonds. -bulgogi wrap - I go crazy for bulgogi. It's marinated so well and the flavors just melt in your mouth! What I don't recommend : I personally think their bubble teas are average. I'm a bit of a boba snob and it tastes too artificial for me. I think they use a lot of powder :/ They also use a water base for their fruit flavors instead of a tea base, which I don't like. I know this cafe is known for their boba but it just doesn't compare to other spots like Coco, Gong Cha, KF Tea, etc. I tried the mango cheesecake bingsoo and I wasn't a fan... There was barely any mango flavor and the ice was chunky. It lacked that fluffy texture that makes a shaved ice dessert enjoyable. Service is good and friendly overall. They give you a beeper to let you know when your order is ready. There's a good amount of seating and outlets. I can stay here for hours because it's so comfy. Very limited parking but there is a free municipal lot across the street. Check this spot out if you're in the mood for coffee, Korean-inspired food, or a sweet treat!

This is a cute quaint place on the corner of main street in Teaneck. Parking is available right across the street in a communal lot, and they have a small 3 spot parking lot for those picking up a quick snack. The service is your typical college student helping ends meet but are nice enough. I stopped by with a friend for late night boba, but I have truly found this place to be the worst boba spot in NJ. The tea quality is alright and flavored a bit artificially, but their boba was liek chewing on jelly coated pebbles. They barely had any boba compared to other boba shops in the drink, and it just felt like chewing tiny pieces of melted plastic instead of delicious soft boba. Really disappointed, but the place had a great vibe and tons of people in the cafe, so maybe give their desserts and coffee a try, but stay away from the boba tea!

Ordered a tiger Boba. It was average. The service is hard to comment on. The person who took my order spoke so quickly that I had a hard time understanding him. He also seemed to expect me to understand the menu. This place stands out because it has a gorgeous atmosphere. The anime and seating are lovely. They have a tiny parking lot but plenty of parking is available on the street.

Great service and vibes. I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich which comes with basil mayo. The basil mayo really enhanced the flavor. It basically pesto but mayo form. The pull pork was a bit on the messier side. I also got muti-grain black sesame boba was really too. Lastly, the bingsu was what I was really excited for. The portion was decently for its size .

HAPPY NATIONAL BOBA DAY (4/30)! It only feels right to update my review of my go-to spot in the…read morearea. NJ doesn't have many great boba places, which is why I'm EXTREMELY grateful to have Tsaocaa nearby. I'm a regular, and the drinks are consistently amazing. I'm pretty picky--I only like drinks with a strong tea flavor that really pulls through. My biggest pet peeve is when they're too milky, overly sweet, or taste artificial. Tsaocaa absolutely nails it! The tea to milk ratio is ON POINT! One sip in, and I could tell they use high quality, premium tea leaves and fresh fruit ingredients. This is one of the few places that truly gets both milk AND fruit teas right! Over the past two years, I've worked my way through a good portion of the menu. You really can't go wrong with choosing any drink! There are so many options--milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, fruit mojitos (non-alcoholic), yogurt slushes, you name it. It's the perfect mix of classic staples and more creative flavors. My top two favorites are: *Passion Fruit & Lime Tea - Get this if you want something refreshing, tangy, and tropical. I get it with no sugar since the fruit already brings a natural sweetness. And they actually use real passion fruit seeds! *Brown Sugar Black Milk Tea - The black tea is strong and slightly bitter, but the creamy milk balances it out. They don't go overboard with the brown sugar--just enough to give you little sips of sweetness. *King of Milk Oolong Tea - I don't usually go for oolong tea, but this one's starting to win me over. I absolutely LOVE the deep, roasted flavor. I order mine with less ice and either the lowest sugar level or no sugar at all. The baristas hit the mark on the sweetness levels and make it exactly how I want. When you order 30% sugar, you really get 30%. For the true tea lovers, I recommend 30% or none at all if you really want that bold tea taste. The tapioca pearls are addicting--soft, chewy, and not crazy sweet. Their pearls have a natural amber brown color since they're made from sweet potato, without any added syrups or dyes. Most boba elsewhere is made from cassava root and then dyed artificially. Yes, it's on the pricier side--but I am SO willing to pay for the higher quality! They have a rewards program, so if you collect enough points, you can score free drinks! There's a lovely barista who's almost always there--she makes my drinks just right and quickly every time. I do wish there were more seating though. It's a small store with just a table and a few stools at a counter. They do have wifi if you're thinking of getting some work done. This location also has a full menu of popular Vietnamese dishes like pho, lemongrass grilled pork, vermicelli bowls, and banh mi. I've tried the banh mi, and honestly, I'd skip it. Stick to the bubble tea here! Tsaocaa is a must try for all boba lovers! Get your sip on! They even have a 1000mL bucket size! *eyes emoji* I have to limit myself to one drink a month... or I'll end up with a 9-month old boba belly.

Oh man, I so wanted these drinks to be a hit…read more Here is what we ordered in 500ml: - King of Oolong Milk Tea with boba - Sakura Oolong Milk Tea As soon as we saw the drinks we were like oooh no, why is it white? My son insist I taste both of them first. I put on a poker face because I wanted to see his honest reaction too. After he took a couple of sips he said, I don't want to finish it. In the trash it goes. I consider myself a hardcore tea lover. There was nothing Oolong about it. Not sure how the lady made it, if it's from powder or actual tea leaves but we absolutely could not detect any tea flavor, mostly water and sugar and the lingering aftertaste was NOT PLEASANT AT ALL. It was a long drive for us to get here. Do I regret it? No, because I am always willing to venture far for a boba tea experience. Can't win them all. I don't know if the high rating is for the drinks or the Vietnamese food they serve here. Tsaocaa is a chain and I will not be giving this one another chance. The first thing my son and I did when we got home was brush our teeth. Positives... - Friendly service. - The drinks are not as pricey as other boba shops. - I got to see how beautiful Englewood, New Jersey is. One star rating for the soft and chewy boba.
