Being a travel nurse in NM...I must say this park has the best drinking water in NM. Also, lived in Las Cruces... sorry water.... This park is managed with class! You are not policed when you walk your dog's, take garbage to the dumpster, and will not be threatened to be thrown out of the park if your dog's bark.... This RV park is clean, peaceful, and PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT! The people of May Hill, NM, had better thank God! Cody is their Fire chief! So, if you are a busybody...this is no place for YOU! Cute small affordable cabins but the first night my husband was bitten by bugs and after an examination by a nurse it was confirmed that it was bed bugs. Do not stay in cabin 1. I'm hoping that every precaution we're taking makes it so we dont take them home with us. Really crappy way to end our honeymoon. read more

Lazy Day Cabins is fantastic! Cabin #3 is charmingly rustic, with a wood burning stove, 2 double beds, and a futon. Cody is a wonderful host! We stayed at Lazy Day during some serious snowfall and Cody cleared a path to our cabin not once, but three times because our VW Jetta kept getting stuck in the snow. Cody also provided us with coffee and cream from his personal stash when we were unprepared to be snowed in. We had some trouble with the DirectTV service and Cody came right over to straighten it out. He truly goes above and beyond to give you a great experience. The property is gorgeous with access to Lincoln National Forest. I definitely recommend Lazy Day Cabins! read more

Lazy Days Cabins and RV Park is an amazing place to stay. My family and I stayed for several days over the Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The park has a lot of trees, a community BBQ area for lounging and even a community firepit large enough for several families. This location is great if you are looking for a quite place to relax yet plenty to do for the kids. Cody, the park owner was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed in spite of the recent pandemic. Will definitely recommend this location. read more

We stayed here in a fifth wheel RV. The property is on the side of a mountain and takes a little maneuvering to get into and out of. However, in the end, it is well worth the effort. The site was very spacious and level and again the views were simply spectacular. 50 amp electric, water and sewer. We found the owner, Cody, to be very friendly and accommodating and we really did appreciate this. The facilities included a bathroom, laundry, community fire pit and very nice community seating area with kitchen. The property also has fully furnished cabins and 3 small motel type rooms. Overall this is a very nice property and we highly recommend it. read more

We have stayed here every summer for 10-12 . days for our family reunion for the last 8 years. Our reunion was disbanded last year for the time being but we decided to go stay there anyway. Cody has always been very helpful with anything that we needed or was having a problem with. The Pavillion was always very nice to have for the reunions and feeding a lot of people. We have always enjoyed our stay there and find it very relaxing and comfortably cool in the summer. We love it there and will continue to stay anytime we can manage to get there. Four years ago we (two wandering Texans) got stranded during a snow storm up the mountains on our way to Lincoln National Forest. Unaccustomed to the snow, we asked at a local diner where would be a good place to stay. They recommended the Lazy Day Cabins. The owner was amazing! He got us settled, rented a room to us for an astounding $45 a night, built us a fire and everything! He was so gracious and helpful, a real port in the storm. When we woke the next day, we were met with the most beautiful view of snow-dressed forests. It was such a great experience we're planning another trip out that way this summer. While it isn't the fanciest cabins, you couldn't ask for a better vista, cleaner rooms, a nicer staff, or better rates. I highly recommend! read more

If I could rate lower I would. We stayed here during some nasty snow and freezing weather. The cabin door didn't shut properly so we had to stuff socks in the cracks to keep the cold out. If you do book a cabin with a kitchen, the heater will not heat it or the bathroom. The heat lamp in the bathroom won't heat the bathroom. You are not capable of turning the heater past 72. The floors are slanted, worn, and just plain nasty. The kitchen was a full kitchen with all the utensils, pots and pans, etc.. We looked around and the silverware and dishes were dirty, the coffee pot looked like it came out of the dumpster inside and out, and there was a thin layer of dirt all over the surfaces of everything. We next went to the bathroom and there was a used bar of soap sitting on the ledge of the shower and the complimentary soap and shampoo bottles were used!?!? JUST DON'T. Even my grandson said "Grandma, don't ever look at these cabins again." read more
