Needless to say, this is more like a "bean bowl" NOT a "salad" ... very disappointing! I could have done better just eating at home. Even I know how to make a Taco Salad. It is unfortunate that Peso's does not seem to understand what a "salad" consists of. I really do find Sergio (the owner), Sergio, Jr., Jimmy, and Maria to be friendly, but I want a Taco Salad WHEN I ORDER ONE, not a "Bean Bowl."

There is a reason, the place has not been vacuumed or cleaned in ever. Bartender was very nice and greeted me when I walked up. Beer was cold and life was good. Couple of regular types at the bar and Sinatra on the Juke box, unusual but cool. Talking to bartender then she rolls her eyes and lets out a deep sigh. I ask what's up as a man who has had a few enters the room from a glass door. She says 'Jim" and scampers somewhere in a rush. long story short, the music quickly becomes crazy loud and the regulars that were chatting are now silent and the man is attempting to tell a story but is lets just say he is not really able. I ordered a meal and asked for a little cheese to pour over the flautas along with a little pico. Now mind you the cheese and pico came out in bowl not larger than the sauce they serve. Got the bill and the queso was $8.00 and the pico $2.03. Same little container. we questioned the price and was charged for a small queso and no way was it a small queso. The waiter brought out the bowl and we tried to tell him that wasn't what was served, but he didn't listen. also the people who deliver the chips and drinks are the best employees and are probably the least paid. They work harder and are more attentive than the servers. As we were standing waiting on our party the hallway had a sour urine smell. If we ever return it will be a good while.
