When we hit an unexpected issue in the discovery of additional water damage in our home, they were able to think on their feet and help make the necessary changes to the plan. They were busy but always managed to find the time to accommodate our changing situation. The cherry on top was when Jose found an amazing flooring solution to an unexpected issue that we were struggling with in our kitchen. We were faced with the possibility of losing electrical connection for our kitchen island because of a botched job done by the previous contractor but Jose was able to take care of it and still safely install flooring. Lastly, the team cleaned up perfectly after they left. From start to finish, everything went smoothly. The work itself is great quality. We'd only…read morejust completed a remodel of our house a few years ago - most of it we'd done ourselves, which means we understand not only quality work, but the amount of skill, patience, and attention to detail that goes into laying flooring and baseboards. Because of the situation, we didn't have time to re-do our floors ourselves, so we hired Specialist N Flooring because they were 1. competitively priced. 2. had a good reputation for quality installation. And 3. they could work with the timeline of all the other construction happening to repair the full scope of damage to my house. I'm verrrrry particular with the details, but as you can see from the photos, the install team was fantastic. We even had a sunken living room that my husband and I built up with floor joists to level it with the rest of the house, however there was one section where the concrete was slightly higher than our OSB board. The install team came in and ground down the concrete to insure perfect alignment between the two materials - without me having to ask. We have rounded wall corners, and instead of sandwiching the corners and pouring in caulking to fill the gap, they did a high-end edge that pleases me no end, and again, I didn't have to ask for it. When we chose tile for the laundry room, I said I didn't want one of those bulky transition pieces, and the install team had zero qualms with aligning the edges and building up the concrete to make it perfectly level with the wood. I would 100% use them again.

The phone was answered promptly only to be greeted with, "I'm with a customer I'll call you back." I missed their return call about an hour later but they also sent a text message. I responded to the tex with the information on the flooring I needed. He gave me a price and requested that I pay via apple pay and that they'd have the flooring the following Monday or Tuesday. I sent the money and that's the last I heard from them. I never received a call letting me know the flooring came in. I got a hold of a warehouse worker which claimed he knows nothing. Even got a hold of Saul only for him to say he will check on the order and call me right back. Now my calls are not answered. Crazy to think there are businesses surviving out there that do this. Luckily for me I'm only out $90, but damn, who does this? Avoid this company.

The manager came out to measure and discuss how the work would be done and go over possible additional charges based on my existing flooring. He provided a quote in a very timely manner and we scheduled the date! They assigned a two man team who showed up promptly on time each morning. The installers were amazing. They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. I understand things come up, but the lack of reliability was disappointing. I ultimately had to move forward with another company. **Update: After the owner's response, I went back and reviewed our messages and he's correct that there were two reschedules, not four. I appreciate the clarification and understand that one of the cancellations was due to a family emergency. Hope all is well with your mother. That said... scheduling delays, limited availability and multiple reschedules still impacted my timeline and planning, which ultimately led me to move forward with another company.
