Our meeting was informative, thorough, and after 20-30 minutes I was convinced he would handle our situation accurately and professionally. This has now been magnified into a situation where we've been threatened by penalties from the IRS/SSA. We should have received a refund on Q1 2021 and as a result of the mistake, the IRS believes we owe. Over six months ago, I was promised a refund from Blankenship for the work related to this issue. Still to this day, after multiple requests and reminders, Blankenship has not issued this refund. When I ask, they reply "I'm sorry the refund has not processed." I've waited long enough to make this review and cannot wait any longer. This is without question the most unprofessional experience and worst service I've ever received from any lawyer, accountant, etc. in my life.
