DQ provided the most reasonable quote at a reasonable time. Devis was incredibly responsive, communicative, and respectful. He was reluctant to provide advice on paint colors, but it was clear we didn't like the color I picked out for my living room. After some deliberation, a new color was picked and his team repainted the living room at no extra charge. Another important detail is that I'm pretty handy myself, and most contractors I've dealt with were generally dismissive of women who know a thing or two about home repairs, tools, and the work it entails. Not Devis. He and his partners were great - they listened, considered my input, and I never felt dismissed in any way. The work took a bit longer than expected due to material shortage but the end result was beautiful. I'm absolutely going to use QD for my kitchen renovation soon. Poor workmanship! We…read morehired the company to remodel our house. For the office, old floor was removed and new floor was installed with luxury vinyl plank. However, the floor starts cupping and creates large gaps under the trim which allows cold air from the garage to flow in. The window trims installed also have large gap underneath, on top or on the side. Bathroom tiles installed are crooked and uneven. Some with grouts on top of the tile. The grouts also start having crack and holes on them after a month. The bathroom sink leaks and the shower hot/cold water is on reverse. We called the company to fix the problem, and they promised to stop by with a time and date. However, no one stopped by and we did not get any notice. After couple unsuccessful attempts to have them stopped by, they blamed us for not giving them reasonable time to respond even though they were the ones who made the appointment to stop by in the first place. We stopped contacting the company out of frustration and headache. There are also minor issues such as bedroom door not closing properly. Overall, very disappointed at the poor workmanship on the jobs done.

This year, I finished the biggest project yet: my kitchen. It was a down-to-the-studs renovation - a big job. The day John came over to scope out the project, he stressed that he wanted my family to be comfortable with everybody on the team. "Kitchen renovation is the most disruptive thing you can do to a house. We're going to be living with you for months," was how he put it. : ) All of the folks who spent time here were skillful, conscientious, and friendly. In every way, they were a great team.
