Lots of good finds here from Quebec, good Eurobeers, and a whole shelf devoted to Ontario Craft Brewers. Strong. If beer's not your thing, their non-vintages selection is pretty broad as well, lots of floor space for ontario, california and australia - plus all the usual suspects from the old world as well. If beer and wine aren't your thing, you're starting to be a pain, but their spirits section is decent, too. Not remarkable, but decent. More scotch than most LCBOs, though still no comparing to a bog-standard BevMo in California. Good vodka selection, too. Gin selection leaves something to be desired (where's my Plymouth, or my Victoria?) and their tequila selection is nothing to write home about last I checked but, overall, if you wander in here seeking spirits, you're likely to find something. If you insist on being hoity and/or toity, their Vintages section pretty well curated; I've never left empty-handed. Pro-tip: this LCBO has a classroom where they run a series of wine and spirits classes at various levels. Did a tasting run by a couple of Ontario winemakers last year that was pretty good, and doing a scotch tasting next month. This isn't a 5-star LCBO -- that's Summerhill and its brethren. Once you put aside those most precious of jewels, though, this one is a strong play.

I think there's a real problem with this group. I do like the convenience of being able to order…read morealcohol and have it delivered to my door, but I really don't like the drivers inability to properly calculate items. I do the math myself now, because we've had some inconsistencies with prices multiple times. I had placed an order at 8:30 p.m. and they called and confirmed the items and said it was on its way, but nothing ever showed up... I had to call the next day and place the order again... So they seem fairly disorganized. I do prefer to order online so I have a paper record of what's ordered, because they do deliver wrong items and even when you place an order online they transcribe it incorrectly, so it's very disorganized and poorly coordinated. I don't particularly expect great things from this type of service, but just being able to transcribe correctly from an online order and to do basic math isn't really asking that much... I do see potential with this business and I do find it incredibly convenient... but I feel there should be a better way to decrease order inconsistencies and mathematical discrepancies. I'm not sure what their base delivery rate is because my orders have always been over $100, but if you do place an order over $100 it's 10% of the orders total and 2 - $3 to use their machine if paying by credit card. We do tend to tip the drivers between $5 and $10 depending on how big an order it is. It's convenient and it saves you from having to deal with all the added stress of going to the LCBO when you're preparing for a party the next day.

It's a busy store with some of the clientele that can be a bit rough, but staff here are always super friendly and work quickly. I know that some people aren't crazy about the way The Beer Store (as a corporation) is run, but I think they're pretty good at offering as much variety as possible and they offer delivery of beer to the location if they don't normally have it in stock. I'm always in and out about as fast as I need to be, so no complaints all with this place.

We found out the card was redeemed in Toronto, yet my son was in Ottawa! I called and explained what happened and the person I spoke to said that someone would get back to me. I wasn't hopeful. But then, I got an email from Frank Perry at The Beer Store in Mississauga saying they would be reimbursing us for the gift card - and giving us an extra $10 for the trouble of having to call in!! Apparently, they have had some trouble with people hacking into their gift card system, so I guess we weren't the only one they heard from. I was so happy with the good customer service. Gift cards are like cash and they might have just told us we were out of luck, but to my surprise, they believed us and we got our money back! Thanks so much, Frank!

Wow! This store reminds me of BevMo in California. I came here because I saw a funny winery sign on…read moremy drive in, and I knew I wasn't going to be able to stop by the actual winery, but their website said they were at LCBO. They had exactly what I wanted and more. I bought local Ontario wine for myself as a souvenir of my Canada trip, and also gifted a couple bottles to my mother in law. The store is clean, well lit, very stocked, and has a big variety! I was surprised because I expected a bit of chaos since I visited on New Years Eve, but the store was organized and I found exactly what I needed quickly. I didn't have to wait in lines because there were several registers open. The cashiers were all very friendly and helpful. I came for the local wine, but I noticed they carry spirits, beer, and wines from many other countries as well. P.S. The red "Badass Baco" Frisky Beaver wine is very good!

A little hard to find, but as it is here in Ontario, in order to fulfill your beer cravings..the Beer Store is the only way to satisfy it. Roughly in the last year, the Beer Store has been going through some major renovations in their service model and their store layouts. This is one of the newer self serve layouts which you pick your product in a refrigerated walk in cooler display floor. I personally like this new layout, rather than the old "order at the counter" and your order is called to the people at the back and its delivered via metal roller track. It give the customer the ease of looking through different beer brands and discovering some new ones. Pretty convenient location as its not directly located in the busier area of Heartland. The service level is pretty standard and the staff can help you find what your looking for. Good location near the heart of Mississauga. 4 Stars..

I was treated to a sample of craft beer as I entered this LCBO. Free samples? Very nice!! There is a great selection of craft beers in the walk-in cooler room but that's not my focus today. Checkout was efficient and Air Miles Rewards can be collected for each $30 in LCBO purchases each month. My adventure was successful... Cheers!

I wish my fridge can be that well stocked as here, even all the imports here are nice and cold and ready to drink! Staff are fresh to act by opening up more cash registers when the lines starts getting longer. I will be back!
