Beware, DO NOT USE. Bad communication and favors their high volume clients. Bad customer service and unprofessional. Didn't deliver the basics such as sending out escrow instructions. The Escrow company is most important in a sale/buy transaction and they made it an absolute nightmare. Steer clear of these people, they will rip you off! The seller of our house chose LCD Escrow and we unfortunately had no say in the matter. We agreed to split escrow costs 50/50. The day before closing we became aware that the seller was paying less than half of our costs. When I confronted the escrow officer and the owner Diana Alon about the discrepancy they said "the seller brings us a lot of repeat business" to which I said "great, but the agreement says 50/50" to which Diana said "50/50 doesn't mean half." Bottom line, these people are rip-off artists. Their actions are in violation of the CA Department of Insurance rules. Not to mention they were sloppy and the service was poor. Don't use LCD Escrow. read more
