Now that our account has been settled, our reviews and perception of the service we received from Allen Erdy Escrow is night and day. It took nearly 6 weeks for the funds to be distributed once our house closed. This had nothing to do with Allen Erdy escrow, rather how long it took us to provide them with the required information needed to complete the transaction and release the funds. I mention how tolerance they were because numerous employees of Allen Erdy endured verbal abusive and threats from a woman who was completely out of control. The escrow company is very cheap. Most escrows I have dealt with spent money to get things done. They send the escrow documents to their clients with a return prepaid, stamped envelop. Allan Erdy used the cheapest delivery company with drivers that throw documents in the bush and expect the clients to return the documents within the shortest period. If they are going to be my next escrow, I rather not deal with them. Allan Erdy harvests unnecessary data from you without just cause .For this company to come up with paper works that are not related to HUD documents is out of the ordinary. read more

While initially they were great to do business with but regarding a refund check on a refinance I was charged a small $25 fee that I felt was incorrect when they reissued a check to me since I had never relieved the initial check. I spoke with Yolanda Haigazian who insistent this was my mistake and there was nothing she could do about it since this was a bank fee and promptly hung up on me. I was kind of shocked, she has always been very nice to talk to and had asked that I call her when I emailed her about the fee and possible mistake. $25 is small, the fee isn't what matters here, but hanging up on a customer when you ask them to call you was inappropriate when giving clarity to the issue. I also don't like to be accused that never receiving a check was my fault. There are many ways to deal with disagreements but this escrow office handled a very small issue in a very unprofessional way. read more
