A home from home for the expat Brits in les environs. Gilles as good as a landlord as you could imagine (single incurable drawback being Southampton fan - let's put that down to poor genes..). Staff invariably great. Good real ale on tap. Curry house next door....all in the heart of the beautiful town of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

(There's no Guinness though which is a little disappointing ) Though on the other hand if I had to rate the food I would give it a 3star rating- while the pubs in London have mostly all become Gastro pubs, this pub has stayed very basic and is far from the french cuisine of the cafes around it. It still stays the best place for drinks in town!
