I understand that nail art is an art form and that things may not look exactly like a reference photo, but what I received was nowhere close to what I showed my technician. The design, shapes, lines, and overall execution were completely different. The pricing was another major issue. I was initially told $120, which then became $135, and my final charge ended up being $185. That is a $65 difference from the original price I was given. I was not expecting to spend $185, especially for a set that I was so unhappy with. I was also asked whether I wanted acrylic or gel and was told the difference was only $10, so I said gel was fine. During the application, I noticed the container being used appeared to be labeled "acrylic." When I questioned the technician about it, I was repeatedly told that gel was being used. I obviously cannot say with certainty what product was ultimately used, but seeing an acrylic label while being told it was gel left me very uncomfortable and confused. And here's the part that honestly bothers me the most: I'm just a mom who wanted to treat herself. I work extremely hard for my money, and I don't take spending $185 lightly. I'm also not someone who enjoys confrontation. When I saw the finished nails, I was uncomfortable and disappointed, but instead of making a scene, I told them they were cute, paid my bill, and left. I cried the entire way home. I didn't walk in expecting perfection. I simply expected to receive something reasonably close to what I showed them, to understand what I was paying for, and to leave feeling like my hard-earned money had been well spent. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I'm posting the inspiration photo alongside the finished set so that people can make their own judgment. $185 is a significant amount of money to me, and I genuinely regret spending it here. I really hope the salon takes this feedback seriously, because no customer should have to leave an appointment feeling this upset after spending that much money.

Hmmm... maybe this person is just having a rough week because this was their first ever Yelp! review. I guess I can only speak for myself, and this is how it goes: I PREFER someone else, especially the apprentices to wash/dry my hair. Any high end salon would have someone else doing this besides the stylist. Why? Well... for one, the apprentices take more time to do it, and they make it a part of your experience. It's my favorite party, and I don't like rushing it! Two: you're paying for your stylist to listen to you and cut/color/style your hair. If you love your stylist and your hair... then you have what you paid for - which is a job well done. I always love my hair when it's finished. If I could afford to go more often, I would! She insisted she HAD to use her Dremel. They should NOT be using the all metal tips: they need to use the tips with the emery board on them. So disappointed in this person. There are products available now. They're fairly new, but when you know the client is uncomfortable from te heat of the drill, nails are breaking, etc., you reevaluate your process. Everyone was friendly when I arrived. I was led back to a private pedicure room almost immediately and treated to a spa pedicure with warm scented water, soft warm towels soothing my feet and legs and pleasant conversation with a lovely lady! The owner checked in on us, asked it if I would like a water and if the towels were soft and holding the heat ok. I felt pampered. I chose a bright neon red and a week and a half later... they look as good as day one. They are more expensive than a nail shop, but I don't go often and wanted the experience. Luckily, I have Venmo bc they couldn't put a tip on my credit card and all I had was a $5. I'd definitely recommend them & will return!
