The sounds I heard as I approached the venue were live and that angelic voice was non other that Lauren Meccia the lead vocalist. Lauren is extremely talented as a vocalist and an instrumentalist as she played the soprano, tenor and alto sax. Equally talented members included Mike Frost, bassist and others that I simply cannot name. Their music combines elements of funk, rock and R&B and is what I refer to as "feel good" music. You will definitely recognize much of the music and find yourself tapping your toes, clapping and singing along. The back den area was calm, private, and had a TV. They also have VIP lockers and updated cameras, which made the place feel safe. The food and drinks were good and came out in a decent time. The owner, Desmond, took over this place four years ago and was very welcoming. We even played a game of chess and he beat me. The whole place felt friendly, almost like visiting family.
