Jonathan has kept my wedding videography from me for over 2 years now. He does not respond to any messages. He took all my money up front in full and was supposed to send me everything within a few months but even after 2 years I still don't have my wedding videography. It has been a nightmare dealing with him. He does not respond on time and makes excuses and doesn't stick to his deadlines as stated in his contract. As a self proclaimed bridezilla, I had done an extensive search for a great videographer for my May 2013 wedding. This included a comparison via Excel spreadsheet, yes it was that serious. My photography and video was the most important aspect of my wedding and I wanted the best. However, my budget couldn't afford the best nor would my DH allow it, or so I thought. Well I found Le Cape through some magically coincident and instantly fell in love with their cinematic style. Just from the HD quality and creativity, I knew they would be WAY over my budget. But regardless, I reached out to them and asked for a quote. As expected they were double my budget, but what surprised me was that Vicky was so willing to work with me on what I wanted and what they could do for us within our budget. We met with Vicky and Jon and they were wonderful and friendly. We signed the contract right then and there. On the day of the wedding, they were nothing but professional and made sure they had way more than enough staff members on hand to cover our wedding. They got all the shots but were not intrusive. When I got our wedding video, it was even better than I had imagined. The editing was fantastic! It was beautiful and a great reminder of what our special day was. I had seriously watched our highlight video 10 times that first day. We have received so many compliments for our video and we could NOT be more happy with what we received. It was the fate of GODS that I stumbled upon Le Cape. It was very important to my husband and me that the same company was both the photographers and videographers. I think the beginning email was "whatever you're already planning on doing 9/12, cancel it, because we need you as our people" :D I spent the next few weeks memorizing their work and watching their videos. I felt like I KNEW the couples just because of the moments they created in 4 minutes. It was a few weeks later that I sat down to meet with Jenifer, the experience consultant, and Jon Cape, himself. What they showed us blew our minds. If there was nothing else we had to spend money on for the day of, all of my money would have gone to them. While their "package on crack" (what I called it) was out of our range, I told them our budget and they fit things in to make it work. We customized something that we could swallow price-wise and that would still capture our important moments. They continued to prove their worth with their attention to detail; getting to know us, getting to know our story, become one with our relationship's journey. During our engagement/love story trailer shoot, it was clear that they take great pride in their work and their aesthetic is comparable to none. They're quick and professional in their execution and delivery The day of was a dream. They never once got in our way- they instead were like flies on the wall, capturing candid moments making them appear as genuine and pure as they were. This company has made my weekend Fifa World Cup party a disaster. They were a pleasure to deal with and prompt on things and easy to work with. The payment and contract was all signed the week of the event. The night before (late evening), the company owner Jon I believe called and cancelled stating he was not able to get a flight to our location in Orange County California. Ummm... The company was aware of my location since we were in talks since Monday of that week. They are getting ONE STAR REVIEW, for ruining my party. If I knew they would have done this, I would have gone with another company but they told me the night of. My party starts at 11 am and there is no way to replace such a fun addition to the party. I definitely would not recommend them for this sole reason. I know others have had great reviews but to CANCEL the night of is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Luckily they refunded instantly. My fiancé and I had our engagement photo shoot with Vicky and Jon at Le Cape Weddings. My sister suggested them to me because she met them at her friend's wedding when she was a bridesmaid. Right away I was so happy I chose them! They immediately started emailing me to pick out locations and my outfits! They helped me with every detail and always made sure I was happy with all our decisions. They made planning so easy. I really wanted a unique location and we ended up deciding to do our photo shoot in a antique furniture warehouse with this awesome rustic, glamorous vibe that was exactly what I wanted! When my fiancé and I got there, they were already set up and had scoped out locations. We had a total blast with them. They made us laugh, made us feel comfortable and we ended up having so much fun! I just got the pictures back and they did an amazing job editing everything. They were courteous, prompt, professional and easy to work with. I wish I could bring them with me to Napa for my wedding in October but already booked another photographer in SF. The whole Le Cape Team was amazing to work with. When we met with Jon, we knew right away his work and talent is what we were looking for in our cinematographers. Jenifer was very helpful and quick to respond during the preparation process. They team was very punctual on the wedding day and was a pleasure to work with.
