Great Creperie. That's all they do is crepes. We had three savory and three dessert. I will say the best was the orignal Crepe Suzette, which is an orange sauce with Grand Marnier. It's a long overdue review. My Parisian friend said this is his favorite creperie and he's right! I had a savory galette and a basic nutella crepe, and they were so amazing. One of our first meals in Paris after strolling the Champs Elysee. We were brought here by my friend who lives in Paris and really enjoyed the ambiance and friendly service that spoke more English than expected. This is a popular spot for Americans, as next to us were a table of Midwesterners, and next to them an American couple. Unless this was the side they stuck all the Americans? We all went with the savory galettes, and my friend's Tartiflette galette (bacon, potato, onion) was the clear winner, that I couldn't help stealing bites. I finished my Super Complete galette (egg, ham, cheese, mushroom) all too quick, which I guess speaks to how good they were. But in Paris, you're basically suppose to linger over every single bite. I would have gone with a sweet crepe as well, but we still had Laduree sweets to devour! read more

Crepes here were great a crispy on the outside and very flavorful. The savory crepes had the perfect balance between ingredients - cheese, chicken, onions, and tomatoes. The banana and chocolate crepe was also delicious - and came with ice cream and whipped cream - it could have used a few more bananas. This creperie is a good escape from the hustle & bustle of Champs Elysées. Reasonably priced crepes (€7-12 for savoury, €4,50-8 for sweet). The ski chalet themed is very apparent and very cozy. The seating is comfortable, just missing a roaring fireplace in the corner! Ok, back to the food...I ordered a crepe with raclette, Serrano ham and potatoes. The base of all their crepes is buckwheat flour. It lends itself to a crispy, almost burnt looking but not burnt tasting. I found the combination of the ham and cheese to be a tad on the salty side. The potatoes definitely offset the saltiness a bit. I liked seeing cider on their menu and if my level of French is accurate, I saw mulled wine available during the winter months. Tucked in a neighborhood away from the bars was this quaint and cozy restaurant. It was my first night in Paris and crepes was a to-do on my list. The waitress offered us an English menu as I stumbled upon pronounciations. My cousin and I ordered the Mont Blanc crepe (Emmental, mozzarella, jambon Serrano, tomates, basilic) and it was not disappointing. It was delicious and cheesy, but not in an aggressive way. Excellent crepes! It was our first time in Paris and enjoying crepes was on our list. We found Le Chalet du 8eme, a short walk from our hotel, and fell in love. The savory crepes we had (I had ham, cheddar and tomatoes and my hubby had chipped beef, potatoes and Swiss) were massive. For dessert we had crepes stuffed with Nutella, with vanilla ice cream and crumbled cinnamon cookies. So amazing! Such friendly staff. We made a reservation through The Fork and got 20% off our bill. Servers were so nice and the overall vibe felt so comforting! I honestly felt like I was in Switzerland. I love Switzerland. This is a great thing. Though we only had one dessert crepe it was good enough that we were wishing we could go back and try more! We had the salted caramel crepe and it was so yummy, a perfect dessert! We arrived at 8:30pm on a Wednesday night with no reservations and 3 teenagers. The staff was extremely accommodating and patient with us. The place is somewhat small, but it feels cozy and intimate. Our waitress explained all of the menu items, and everything was delicious. We all ordered savory crepes with either cheese or an egg. When my husband asked for no cheese on his crepe (it normally comes with cheese) the chef considerately added an egg to give it more flavor and texture. We also had beers and rose wine and everything was excellent. The best part of the meal wee our sweet crepes and they were fantastic. We ordered one with banana and chocolate and one with chocolate sauce and ice cream. We devoured them both. read more

This place is amazing! Amazing, I tell you. I speak horrid French, which is something that the French do not like. But I felt super comfortable at this place. The owner spoke pretty good English and explained everything so well. She was super nice, and made our dinner here worthwhile. The crepes were extremely tasty and flavorful. They were pretty large portions with all kinds of yummy fillings. I think I got the bacon, onion and cheddar crepe with a glass of Kir. It. Was. Delicious. Of course, the banana and chocolate crepe was the perfect thing to cap off our meal. We were also informed that all the chocolate sauces were made from scratch, in house. We greatly enjoyed our first meal in Paris here! The food was incredible as were both the service and the atmosphere. The wooden room lighted by dim candlelight gives the place a cozy vibe, while the chairs and tables keep the place feeling trendy. I got the apple, honey, walnut and salad crepe while my friend got the mushroom and sour cream. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed the banana and chocolate crepe for dessert. Quaint, cute and relatively inexpensive. Note that they only serve crepes and the crepes aren't like the ones that I've had in the US. I started with a cheese, spinach and mushroom crepe. The crepe was crisp and delicious. Given the fact that they didn't have dinner salads on the menu, I asked if a small rocket salad (arugula) could be prepared. I got a bowl of arugula - no dressing. Hmmm... The dessert crepes were delicious. I had a chocolate crepe that was wonderful. Wine list is very small and not particularly inspiring. read more

Upon arrival, there were a lot of ingredients on the French-only menu that we didn't understand and couldn't translate. But the server was very helpful in describing what each of these were. The four of us all got one savory and one sweet crepe. Across the board everyone was very pleased and the portions were surprisingly filling. The location is a bit off the track from Champs-Élysées. So I recommend going if you already plan to be in the area, but it isn't worth a trip out to just this itself since it's not near much else. read more

Lovely homey small restaurant. With a very big heart! the savory buckwheat crepe was generous sized. I had the one with four cheese and ham and my husband had the one with ham cheese basil and tomatoes. We also ordered the salade vert for each which was a nice addition. The other salads are huge. Be warned by our next table over. Do not order the other salads as a side, unless you are very hungry! They are very sweet and patient. Will guide you in English if you look too confused. The crepes are well presented and filling. They are not as tasty as some others I've had but I suspect it is because they do not use nearly as much butter, which is a good thing. Service is fast, and the Express formule is good value (only 15 eur for both a savory and sweet crepe as well as a glass of either cider or apple juice) though just a little more expensive than the other crepe place down the block. The decor is just like a chalet, which is welcoming and warm - perfect as the weather turns colder and cold salads and sandwiches are no longer as appealing as they used to be. read more
