La Bresse is super tiny so the food selection is not that great but this place is definitely worth a visit. They do have limited hours. We went for dinner (they open after 1900) but I think they also have lunch hours. The pizza is great and you can get a delicious bottle of cote du rhône for just 13€. They bring out the pizza with a bottle of infused olive oil which has quite a bit of a kick but it is so delicious!!! You have to save room for dessert. We got the dessert sampler (assiette gourmande) and it was ahhhhmazing. The macaron and the mousse were to die for. The service was quick and the staff very hospitable. Couldn't recommend this place more!!
Assiette gourmande. Best dessert sampler in the world!!! The macaron is to die for.

I can't say if it was the best ever, but it was good enough for us that we dined here on both the nights we stayed in Strasbourg. Part of it was due to the fact that Alsacian cuisine is meat-heavy, and partly because those that had vegetarian options were fully booked. The first evening I tried the veggie pizza. The toppings were paprika, aubergines, and zucchini. The crust is what makes the pizza amazing. I was surprised that they didn't have a wood fired oven. Why does everyone say that real pizza is made in those? This was even better! The second evening I had the mushroom pizza. A little too much mushroom for my taste, but I got used to it quickly. Yummy. You have to eat here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Even though the space is little, you feel at ease. The restaurant specializes in pizza, and really does it well.

Definitely make a reservation, because the wait was quite long when we arrived, yet with our reservation, we were quickly escorted into the dining room past the "non-reservers." The pizza was very good. Not the best I've ever had, but good enough that I cleaned my plate. With a nice glass of wine (or two) and a view of the fountains outside the window, that was all I needed to give Pizzeria La Romantica five stars.

I figured if we get there right when dinner service starts at 7, then we should be able to get a table, but I was so wrong. They were already fully booked for the rest of the night, and closed for the next two days. I was so disappointed thinking that I won't be and to try it based on all the reviews. Since we were staying around the corner from there. I asked the guy if I can get take out. He did me a favor and was able to accommodate that. I saw a "take away available" sign hidden when I was waiting for my order, so I am pretty sure that they weren't taking take out orders either. We took it back to our Airbnb, and it was so yummy. We got the Munster and the Gratinée. I'm so glad that we were able to try this place during our trip. Thank you so much to the kind staff who was able to accommodate my take out order. We had booked a table way ahead of time to have a fun night out. We wanted to celebrate being together and, of course, eat some great food. But we were really sad and confused when we got there and found out that they had canceled our booking at the door. It felt like they didn't know what they were doing. I can't really say how let down I felt. We had an email from the restaurant confirming our booking, but when we got there, it seemed like they didn't care about it. It felt like we were more of a problem for them than customers who had made a booking. So we were left outside in the cold, hungry and let down. It seemed really unprofessional. The way they didn't care about our booking and the way the staff acted made us feel really bad. This is not how you expect a good restaurant to act. To anyone thinking about eating here, I would say this: If you want a place to eat that respects you and is reliable, then you might want to avoid this place. Our night was ruined by really bad service. There are places out there that care about and respect their customers. This clearly isn't one of them.
