We had a mixed experience working with this company to plan our wedding at their Salon Richmond,…read moreand felt it was important to share. On the positive side, the space is stunning and the food was excellent - both were highlights for us. However, our experience on the planning side raised several concerns. Communication and expectations were unclear from the outset. We initially believed we would be working with one team member, but later learned that a different person would be managing our wedding, which was not clearly communicated and created confusion early on. Throughout the process, we found the planner's approach to be rigid and not particularly collaborative. We were open to guidance, but often felt that our preferences were dismissed in favor of doing things a specific way. During our tasting, for example, some of our menu selections (chosen directly from the venue's own offerings) were criticized as not being "classy" or "elegant," which felt inappropriate and unnecessarily condescending. There were also multiple instances that felt unprofessional, including meetings starting late and recurring interruptions during scheduled time together. We also encountered a significant issue regarding payment transparency for a vendor booked through the venue. A deposit we paid was invoiced as a payment toward the band, but was not fully applied as such, and this was not disclosed at the time of payment. The matter was only resolved after escalation. While it is clear that the team is capable of executing events, our experience did not reflect the level of professionalism, transparency, or care that is essential when planning a wedding. A wedding is not just another event, and the planning process requires a level of respect, communication, and client focus that we did not consistently experience here. Due to these concerns, we ultimately chose to move forward with a different venue, as we did not feel confident continuing with the planning process. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this venue for weddings. Couples should proceed with caution and ensure they have a clear, documented understanding of vendor payments, responsibilities, and expectations before committing!

The Banquet La Sirène is best reception hall ever…read more I got married on the 19th of Octobre and had my reception hall over there. All of my invites were satisfied with the basic menu that La Sirene provided and offered. *Food* : The food was excellent, everyone including my wedding planner said she was impressed with the quality of the food it's price, we're talking high quality here, don't let yourself be impressed by the low price, it's really a great menu. The service was amazing, their team was impressively good, we had about 180 invites, and no complaints all : the team was fast, at a certain point in time on of the staff members wanted to change my platte because "he heard" that I wasn't satisfied, theses guys are amazing, I was more than satisfied. That was my experience, the Banquet La Sirène made our wedding day exceptional, in terms of price and service, to me this team and room is unbeatable. I would recommend their staff and team to anyone who would want to get married in their reception hall.Le banquet La Sirene delivers high quality food and service in my opinion. As long as you have a designated driver, or you call a cab it's a great place to hold a party.

Renting the building and its furniture only did not seem like an option at all. We backed off because of the poor attitude of the staff. (+) Large space (-) Location; Low ceilings; No 'wow' effect. Please be aware that they are not asking what they can do to make your event special. They are really focused on getting the most $ out of you. The one staff wanted to charge 400$ per person for a 3 service banquet type of event or else he would serve corn to our guests! ...all of that even though we told them we would hire our own food service. This is not the way potential clients should be treated and it gave us a pretty clear idea of how their customer service is running after you sign a contract with them. We met two staff during our visit. The first one was nice but still very focused on our budget while the second one should be fired.

Fluffy pancakes with fresh maple syrup served by the friendliest staff made this an enjoyable visit. The nature trail following around their property was very enjoyable after breakfast and was easily completed within about 30 minutes. We took our maple syrup snow candy (we rolled it ourselves) and shot many pictures of the kids and some wild birds. The machinery used to boil the sap was very cool to see and the choices of maple syrup products to but was impressive. I would love to go back and I really recommend this place for a Saturday morning outing. It was about an hour's drive from Ottawa. Breakfast was about $80 for 4 but I looked at it as an experience, not just breakfast. Worth the money.

We got the five course meal and it was 90 minutes before we got salad (4/10). Bread is its own course here and we each got one small roll (ironically the best part though). The mussels were fine but just covered in cheese and butter. The main took another 40 minutes and was very mediocre. The chicken dishes were the exact same ingredients just arranged differently, and the lasagna could only contend with Chef Boyardi. The dessert was obviously pre-purchased and tasted like grocery store cakes. Just not very pleasant.

On a pas eux d'eau chaude pour prendre un bain ou douche. On c'est fait dire plein toi au manager dans 3 jours, tu prendras ta douche chez toi. Le service au bistro de l'hit était lent 2:00 pour déjeuner et pas eux le bon déjeuner , froids et pas mangeable. Aussi des gens manquait de classe on baiser sur leur balcon devant nous. On c est plein et on m'a regarder et lever les yeux au ciel. Et jusqu à 5 hrs du matin bcp de jeunes femmes hurlait, dansait , écoutait la musique forte faites des pleintes pas changé grand chose. Très décevant.... :-/ Je retourne pas la .
