In a section of royal oak where it's easy to drive to and close to a major highway --the service is normal and that's all I could ask these days so that's good ---and the vibe of the cafe is quiet no music ---it's not overwhelmingly busy so I would imagine bringing work with you to this crepe shop is welcome---since it's WiFi accessible ---

There are 4 different crepes. They were all pretty mediocre. The Nutella 1 was not overly sweet and paired nicely with banana. The other 2 were interesting but I would not go back for them. Nothing overly wrong, just maybe not my thing. The bacon was burned, in addition. I also got a steak salad. That was also just average. The steak some parts were not chewable. The salad was a little bit heavy and oil/dressing, even though I got a dressing on the side. The atmosphere was all right and kept clean. The bathroom was clean. The service was okay and we were asked many times before meal was good. They were accompanying. The service was better than the food.

2025-04-18. Le Crepe. Royal Oak, MI. It's been over 10 years since I was at Le Crepe, the last time I was here I remember the food being decent with good service. We were in the area for the Dean Lewis concert and thought this would be a great place to fuel up. There is metered street parking directly out front and an uncovered parking lot across the street ($5/day). Le Crepe is a quaint little local place that serves French inspired crepe dishes. With an array of both savory and sweet selections there something for everyone. They even have gluten free and vegan options! Today we had the Signature Ribeye Truffle, the Green Goat, the Peach Cobbler, and the Blackened Steak salad. The crepes were well prepared; thin and eggy with a buttery texture. They were a little sweeter than I'm used to, but adds to the trifecta of foods (sweet, salty, and fried.) Crepes are primarily influenced by their filling and the sweetness wasn't overbearing here. The Signature Ribeye Truffle was quite flavorful. The spinach was fresh and tender and paired nicely with the mushrooms and the steak. The steak was cooked to a little more than medium and was much tougher than I expected for ribeye. 4 stars. The Green Goat is a savory chicken crepe. This was very well prepared and all the ingredients blended together in harmony. I wouldn't have thought to mix goat cheese with chicken, but along with the mixed greens, the roasted garlic, the bacon, the caramelized onions, and the thinly sliced green apples, it actually worked. 4 stars. The Peach Cobbler came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a double hit of cinnamon in the form of a cinnamon cream cheese topping and cinnamon sugar. The caramelized peaches ensured the sweetness and this was enjoyed very much by my kids. 4 stars. The Blackened Steak Salad came with a beautiful spring mix of fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion slivers, strawberries, and blue cheese. The steak was the same ribeye and was cooked medium. Despite the more thorough cook, this steak was also a little on the tough side, but it was also a little more tender than the steak that came with the Truffle crepe; which is surprising as it should have been from the same batch. The dressing is a house vinaigrette with flavors of garlic and shallots. As far as salads go, I'm a fan of this one. 4 stars. Overall, I think Le Crepe has some good very good dishes conceptually. The ingredients are fresh and the combinations pair really well together. I know we had the Crispies (appetizer) the last time we were here and I remember them being pretty good. We didn't get them this time around simply because I forgot about them, but will definitely get them next time I'm back. It's a great little place with a casual ambiance and would make a great venue for a get together before or after a concert, for dessert, or just to hang out with friends. The staff here is very friendly and I'd consider this one of the gems of Royal Oak! I'm a fan! If You would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!

Tried this place during restaurant week. Such a good deal. Everything was tasty and fresh. I enjoyed the crisps with Nutella, the spicy chicken truffle and the cinnamon cream cheese with strawberry and a mochaccino.

*** This cute little gem is a great day starter. *** I stopped in here for a quick bite and was hooked. It is small yet charming. Quick service yet attentive. The number of savory crêpe options is mindboggling. I only got a chance to taste 3, but all were excellent ... Spicy Chicken Truffle ... perfectly balanced ... 5-stars Signature Ribeye Truffle... hearty and tasty ...5-stars Seabreeze Seafood ... wow, quite creative ... 4-stars Their crêpes are made thin, light and subtly layered. *** I would def recommend starting a day here. ***

I came here randomly on 06/06/2023 for a quick breakfast. I was in the area and wanted a quick bite. Very tasty and just what I didn't know I need. I love a good crepe and these were nice and good. I chose a savory one- the DeJa Vu, and it was delicious. I added red onion- comes with smoked salmon, Swiss cheese, asparagus and a spicy sauce! Ambiance is cute and quaint- small space but the decor is lovely. They have books at the front that you can read while dining in. So I took advantage of that. My server Denise was nice. If you're looking for a place to get a quick bite- here's your spot. I enjoyed!

We entered in on Mother's Day expecting a full house, but found ourselves confused when there was no one in the store. We ended up saying hello repeatedly in the store until someone came out of the back a couple of minutes later. While this came as a confusion, it wasn't the first time it's happened in the establishment when I've entered in. However, I must say I absolutely love the aesthetics and delicious goodies themselves! A very cozy and modern atmosphere with specialty drinks, such as an avocado-based shake, or mango ice cream with real honeycomb on top.

Ordered a Honey ginger tea and Arasi smoothie. $13.48 A staffer had us try their zero sugar ice cream, vanilla and mango. I am not a big fan of vanilla, it's too plain to me. They have an Oreo cone, that's unique. Pastries look interesting, but not appetizing though. The ginger honey tea is quite odd, not a big fan. The spices are not so good. It's got an odd taste that hits the back of my tongue and throat and makes it taste off somehow. My husband likes it less than me. This tea would have been left ad ginger and honey only. The odd concoction of spices made it really tough to drink. Like a bad medicine going down. They gave us a Boba straws and it doesn't fit inside the slot for the smoothie at all. The Vimto isn't for me, tastes like syrup to me. Smoothie would be better with mango only. We swapped drinks, since each of us could tolerate one drink over the other.

However after placing our order on the screen, the two iced latte drinks came out with no espresso added? Apparently on the ordering screen you have to CHOOSE to add espresso, which is counterintuitive because then it's just sugar milk. Anyways that was fixed and my bubble fruit tea was good. I appreciate all the ways to personalize the tea and it's Good that they have non dairy drinks options! The staff person kinda awkwardly set the tray on our table and left - she didn't hand out the drinks to us, which is kind of weird? The cake we ordered took awhile to come out even though it was right there in the display - and I even inquired about it. we were done with our drinks by the time it came out - so it wasn't great timing and we were just over it. The spoons were cute but way too small to enjoy anything - my kiddo liked it though for a few bites. I feel like this was just for ambience and not really sustenance, not sure if I would come back. Maybe for the noodles or other foods but there's lot of other options nearby! They also advertise pizza on their front sign but I didn't see any on the inside menu...? Easy lot parking - watch out for the large pothole up front though!

As super lovely and relaxing vibe. They have a counter that says "Order Here" but there was one other table who ordered at their table and received the check at the end of their meal like regular table service. They offer a guest WiFi network, but definitely would not recommend taking any meetings or calls from this space; it's definitely not that kind of cafe! Food (5/5): I ordered the French Classic, which is egg, cheddar, and ham. It was SO delicious and generously portioned. I honestly didn't expect to feel so full, especially since this crepe wasn't as filled as some of the other ones on the menu, but wow! The crepe itself has a very lovely flavor and well complimented by the thin layer of egg inside. (Sidenote: I've gone back another time since I started writing this review, this time trying the 9am and the Lean Machine crepes. Both tasty and generous with the fillings, but I think the French Classic is still my favorite among the three. You get to taste the crepe itself more, and it's really good!) Service (5/5): I had very obviously portioned off and set aside half the crepe to take home and the staff very skillfully clocked it and handed me a box for it without me even asking. Everyone there is so friendly and attentive, and it really makes me want to keep coming back (and I will!).
