Located inside the boutique Hotel Celeste in Makati, Le Feu Steakhouse is a quiet and elegant spot just minutes from Greenbelt and SM Makati.
When we arrived around 9 PM on a Friday, the restaurant was fairly quiet. There was a live saxophone player, which gave the space a relaxed, lounge-like atmosphere. Combined with their well-stocked bar, it created a very chill vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long week.
We started with the wild mushroom truffle soup, which had good flavor but could be a bit thicker, followed by a Caesar salad that was fresh though the dressing could have been slightly stronger.
For the main, we shared the MS5+ Wagyu Picanha WX (350g). The steak is served thinly sliced, which was a first for me, but it was tender and flavorful. The steak comes with one side and a choice of butter. We chose the shiitake steak rice and garlic confit butter, which added a rich garlicky finish to the wagyu.
For dessert, we ordered the hazelnut tiramisu dusted with cocoa powder, and it was excellent, light, creamy, and a perfect way to end the meal.
Service was attentive and smooth, even on a quiet night.
They also offer an unlimited steak lunch for about ₱1,900, which includes soup, salad, unlimited picanha or ribeye, sides, and dessert.
Overall: A refined yet relaxed steakhouse in Makati with good wagyu, attentive service, and a laid-back jazz lounge vibe. read more
