The owner of the…read morebusiness, Bill Boettcher, told me less than 48 hours before my event that he would be sending a substitute when all along I was told it would be he at my event. All during the time before my event he was extremely difficult to reach but I let it go because my primary music was to be through the live band, who was fantastic. But there were reasons I also wanted a DJ and my reasons turned out to be valid. The DJ Bill ultimately sent was ok. the music was fine and really there was nothing in particular I needed to have the DJ do or to discuss with him so no complaints. But the motivator, as sweet as could be, did not seem to know her job. I had to tell her when to give out items and if I hadn't told her we would still be waiting. Only during the last hour did she do any kind of interaction with the kids. There were no games as I had been told there would be and items that were specifically ordered for my event, I never saw. All of this didn't leave me thrilled, but the worst was that I wrote to Bill after the event and let him know I just wanted to talk to him. I wasn't going to make too big a deal of it but I thought maybe the motivator was new and simply needed some guidance. I didn't hear back for a week and when I wrote again, I received a rather rude response admonishing me for not being more patient. He didn't like some of what I wrote in my second e-mail (which did indicate I was upset he hadn't responded yet)and indicated that was the only reason he was responding despite being so busy. Had he only written originally and asked me to wait until things quieted down I wouldn't be writing this. But he stated right out that he only responded to me because something upset him. Yet he didn't feel it important enough to answer me when I was upset, didn't feel it important enough to make sure things had gone well, and overall didn't think it important enough to provide good customer service. I don't know if things would have been better with a different motivator and if the owner had done my event, as originally planned. But he (Bill, the owner) is extremely difficult to reach when things are going well, and pretty much not at all unless he feels it is important. I would not use this company again.

We did have to drive into the city to meet with him but that was our choice as the customer. He works remotely. We went with the "Big Mix" and could not be more ecstatic with our choice. We personally met with the band leader Joe who listened to event request and OVER DELIVERED. in fact, we sent him sheet music before the wedding because we changed the song for our first dance and not only did they play it well but they ROCKED IT. I think another testament to their quality was that once of my bridesmaids who isn't a "dancer" told me that because the band was so awesome she danced to all but THREE songs. Also, the majority of our guests stayed until the end where the band ended the night with a perfect sounded Frank Sinatra version of "New York, New York". Vali entertainment follows through on the excellent standard they promise to deliver. Choose them and people will also be telling you "that was the best wedding band I've ever seen."

Every time I looked around there was barely anybody sitting down. The song selection was perfect- there was something for everyone and they really engaged our guests. Our guests cannot stop raving about this band and several have asked for their contact information. Multiple people have said it was the best wedding band they have ever heard, they felt like they were at a concert and if they closed their eyes it was as if the actual singers were there. The vocalists were truly incredible. I worked with John leading up to the wedding and he was great. He was extremely responsive, made great suggestions and was very accommodating. For our first dance, we surprised our guests with a fun dance in the middle of a slow song and they pulled it off seamlessly. The band's energy got the night off to an amazing start and everybody was sad to see it come to an end. It is truly difficult for me to put into words how great Vali and the Right Mix are. Metropolis consists of some of the most talented musicians and masters at their craft. - they are rockstars and threw us the party of a lifetime! During the reception, the band kept everyone on their feet all night! Every member of Metropolis has incredible talent. They performed every song, including our requested songs with energy and passion. We loved that they interacted with the crowd and they truly seemed like they were enjoying every minute of it. We loved their plan for the flow of the evening, which maximized the time on the dance floor - we've attended other weddings where this was not the case, and it was very noticeable! So many of our guests raved about how good the band was, and have asked for their information to recommend them for future weddings - everyone enjoyed themselves so much and all of our guests were out on the dance floor all night. And a bad band can make things go sour pretty quickly as well. Fortunately for the wedding I attended this weekend, Scott Yanney Band (which apparently is one of the featured bands of Faze 4 entertainment) is one of the good ones. They had everyone on the dance floor within seconds (then again, they had a fun crowd to work with- my new family!) and we didn't stop shaking our booties all night long.
